    This video is pretty dead-on.
I was born and raised in Moline.
    Small-town feel, with unlimited possibilities.
Plus, we're midwestern, so it's not full of stuckup, big-city kindof people.

The Quad Cities is a great place to live. The cost of living is low. Homes are affordable. The economy is pretty steady. The people are nice. Each city has it's own pros and cons but I think the Iowa side is better! Bettendorf is a great community and Davenport has lots to offer!! Downtown Davenport is very nice!

There's a lot to do in the Quad Cities from festivals, to museums, to the river. My favorite is the Pops concert in September.

I was raised in the Quad Cities but have lived for many years here in Asia. In the mid 1990s as Hong Kong was getting ready to go back to China I proposed to several wealthy Chinese that they should invest in the Quad Cities. Citing the bankruptsy of International Harvester and other labor issues that was shutting factories there they responded that they would sooner take their chances with China and leave their money in Hong Kong. The Unions have gutted the local economy in the QC,... Asia is booming today... I love it here...

I am loud and proud about living in the Quad Cities having moved here first in 1956 as a teen, left for college, married and lived elsewhere but moved back in 1970 to raise our family. The advancements are astonishing, and I particularly love all of our river front and our River.

it was originally known as the tri-cities. the 3 cities were davenport, rock island and moline. then it became the quad cities with east moline given equal status. BETTENDORF was the last city. the name was then going to be changed to the quint cities, but quad cities was too well known and so it remained. however some radio stations and news stations TRIED to get the quint cities name to catch on and called it that for awhile, but it never caught on.

There's nothing to really do there, the only things you can do is literally spend one whole day there and the next it's boring. I lived there my whole life and it's just... Eh. Only a race track in east moline, I wireless center in Moline and it's just a broke down backwash in rock island. But only little places are interesting in rock island. School system sucks tho. E.M. is only where medium to low wage people live in the upper part but think they're high class. It's a nice place to live if y
