Thanks for the video, Jay. Really appreciate it. Will have to look at ordering the parts from out of province though, the Indian dealer here is on backorder for nearly everything. Also such a hassle trying to find out of these are legal here in Alberta. Basically the only easy part so far has been watching your how-to-video haha. Cheers.

Johnny Striple it’s pretty stout. Cast aluminum. I must admit I have used the tail piece to muscle the bike around the garage before. Probably shouldn’t have. But it happened. Bolts to the subframe. So it’s strong.

I think that the great thing about the bobber is that there are so many ways to personalise and customise it to your own taste, and since everyone has different tastes, it makes for a great platform.

Nah, get a bracket and plate kit and sit it on the bobbed fender. If you can imagine the sorta V a clothes peg makes think of two of those raising up the plate frame and its lower back legs bolting onto the fender.

EqualLayer I’d never forget about you. So.
The Canadian plate is larger than the US plate. I had to make new holes in my plate. But bolt centers measure.
      3” tall by 5.5” wide.
The Canadian bolt centers are 4” tall by 5.5” wide.
Makes sense? Like this : : 3” tall by 5.5” wide.

Thanks for the video Jay, Inspired me to fit the sidemount on my UK model. Only I can't buy the individual parts from polaris UK, only a complete (£169) kit including the un-needed lamp. So I've ordered from Indian USA for everything else except the lamp and am using re-shipping to get the parts to the UK. I reckon it'll save me £50 once shipping and VAT have been paid. :D. (That's £50 more towards the comfort saddle in black.... Why is the black comfort saddle more expensive than the black/brown one??)

Hi Jay, thanks for this great video.
I'm coming from Germany and have this ugly original plate holder and like to change it. I found now here in Germany only plate holders which you can fix on the rear wheel axle.
This looks now much better for me, although because you have no problems with the cable...
Is this an original Indian part and if yes, can you tell me the part number, please.
Then I can check if its possible to assemble it here in Germany...the laws her are much stronger than in US.
    Thanks in advance, Peter

Hi Jay! Came across your video and was hoping to get some info as to which dealer you got all the parts at. I noticed you lived on the island. I live on the lower mainland.
