Jason great lesson you really opened up the foundation to really start to learn to Express yourself. Amazing there is a lot involved in freedom and you are giving this the keys to start to unlock this process. I hope you continue develop this adding blues scales and also more advanced chord progressions and scales like diatonic modes and harmonic and melodic modes later down the road . Ty
Landing note idea is actually the principle of vocal harmony, otherwise called obligato.... Choir singers generally sing these harmonic notes and they also connect these notes by climbing up and down on scale notes
It's also used in Jazz improv too :)
