"I suggest creating more content using DaVinci Resolve. In fact, launching a course specifically for reels and shorts video editing using this software could really boost the UA-cam channel and attract a wider audience. This niche has so much potential!
thanks! I don't plan on making Davinci Resolve the entire theme of this channel because I have so much other things I want to talk about, but doing something specifically for reels/shorts is a great idea✌️
haha thank you! I thought about cutting that out, but decided to leave it in because it kind of shows the realities of having to try a couple of times to get exactly what you're envisioning!😂 Let me know if there's anything specific you would like to see in a follow up!
Thank you very much.. this was very helpful for me, and right at the level I need.... but I'll need to go back and re-watch it a few times for most of it to actually sink in, .... and practice these tips a lot..
Great video! I started learning DaVinci Resolve a couple of weeks ago as well. I love it, it can be challenging but if you put in the time, you can definitely learn how to use some great tools at it's core. Which then the experience that was gained can applied to other apps if need be.
Great video! Thanks! Question: what are the hot keys to get the play head to jump either to the beginning of the time line and or to the end..? thanks!
Thanks! for jumping to start and end of timeline, the default is ↘︎ and ↖︎ which doesn't exist on a Mac keyboard, so you can go customize it in the keyboard shortcuts. It's in Application > Timeline > Playback > Go To > Timeline start/end. Hope this helps!✨
I watched another video on Snap Captions and the person mentioned the plugin requires Resolve Studio. Is that true, or does it work just as well in the free version?

Great one! You are good at explaining, even when you fumbled a bit with the word and line boxes. I am ready for a follow-up / more advanced part.

I'm glad it was helpful! If you try everything a few times, you'll get it down in no time✨

Ah sorry I didn't think of that. You're right it only works in the Studio version.
For me, Davinci has the best image stabilization over other apps.
Yup it's great and quick!
1:52 Free version only edit 8 bit videos in case someone doesn’t know.
good point! also if you don't know what that means, then you're good with the free version for now :)
100/10
