Look forward to hearing the song when it is finished! Hope you have a great time in Belgium -seems your talent is broadening geographically and creatively!
It is very understandable that now, with your many activities and performances, you do not always have time for FftB every week. I'm very happy that your creativity is going so well now. And luckily you give us an insight into your creative process, something I find very interesting. Only 15 days left before you are in Rotterdam!
Only discovered your channel yesterday, and found it interesting. Also I was wondering why are there no more recent videos. The last one seems to be two years old.
That's great, take your time, and enjoy your travels! For the piece you played, for some reason in my head it paired with an accordion and delivered a very frenchy vibe, like something from Yann Tiersen. Probably not your intended direction, but that's just my association. ❤
Belgium and the Netherlands have many cultural ties with the UK. I hope your trip is successful and you make new friends and contacts with your music. I was interested in your work with Ralph Vaughan Williams and his English hymnal, and the folk tradition of the British Isles. I am interested in your creative musical journey, I play open mics in North West England and play some folk songs, but have not written too much myself. ua-cam.com/video/jeCMNLX-iZ8/v-deo.html

Use a broken harpsicord and cello, lead with a fretless guitfiddle
