I have an Instagram that's primarily my artwork related but i mostly draw my OCs now from my stories and want to somehow connect it with my writing, not just art. Trying to figure it out 🤣
Yes I love that you do that!!!! It’s actually one of the things that makes me repeatedly comment on your post because I know I’ll get response from you! Instead of like the bigger authors who pretty much don’t even like your comment unless you are a huge influencer
It really bums me out that people do that. I’m here for conversations-not to be a number on someone’s insights. Thank you for watching and commenting, Katie! Big hugs!☺️💕
Love these tips! I would personally love to see a video of you detailing how you create all of your gorgeous photos! The cute book photoshoots as well as the edits! I’m crazy jealous haha
I totally feel you on that! And they have two separate goals. Not many business accounts post things unrelated to their business, so in my opinion, keeping it separate is just easier!💕💕
So happy to find fellow authors to follow just before Camp Nanowrimo! I have used instagram for ages and never knew about how to check those details! Thank you so much! I now know that my most popular time is 3pm! Haha. Amazing. I'm actually thinking of putting together a video of author accounts to follow and you will definitely be included - this video was really so helpful! New subscriber, hope to keep in touch!
I loved the tips for Instagram :) I'm trying to get into the Instagram game so yeah, going to implement your tips and see what happens :D Thanks Sarah!
Oh my goodness! ❤️ Wonderful tips! Thank you so much for sharing. I struggle so much with some of these things. How do you come up with relevant hashtags? I am so bad at those! (Also, yes I’m going to participate in the challenge! I’m going to grab my computer RIGHT NOW!!)
Yay, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! As for hashtags, I really picked a few favorite authors of mine or a few of my favorite people on the platform and looked at their hashtags for some variety. Or I searched up a random hashtag, like “Authorsofinstagram“ and looked to see what else people used with that hashtag. It helped me build up a pretty nice list!
Also, are you planning to do writing sprints for Camp NaNoWriMo? I have been wanting to do the live-streams so bad, but I always have work at those times!
I am! I'm still trying to figure out my schedule, though, so that there's a bit more of a variety, because I know there's actually a few people who can't make it to the Wednesday ones!
This is such a great video! Thank you for doing this 😁 I have a business Instagram page but for my singing and performing, however my sister is an author so I will be sharing this video to her!! Still useful tips for me to though - so thank you!! I have subscribed 😁 I hope you can go and check out my channel 💗
Are you going to participate in the challenge? Don't forget to tag me so I can see and help boost your post!💕

the word 'algorithm' comes from the name al-khwarizmi, the inventor of algebra.
