Is the inner layer of the shoe i.e the inner sole that touches the foot once it's slipped in the shoe - is it soft or hard or medium hard ? I have a slight heel spur prob ( pain when streched only ) at the back of my heel where the bursa is located hence was wondering if any of the acis shoes would be a good idea to go with ?
@@alzdsz the inner sole is soft but it can be removed and replaced with another one if you require it. I used to wear other brands but have been wearing ASICS for the last 16 years. Best wishes to you!

I run 4 - 5 kms everyday, these shoes are just for comfort not for durability the shoes are so expensive at least it should last for 1 year, regular users please don't buy these shoes if you are using once in while then it is fine.. comfort wise 100% great, sole durability 0% waste, these asics guys should come out with sole replacement warranty scheme specially if you want to survive in indian roads and market.. Mr Asics Joe in the video please pass this on to you company being the dealer they will take action... thanks

For the limited market, it makes no sense for a company to spend thousands of R&D dollars making something only a handful of people will buy and use. I worded that wrong, so again, I apologize.
Every product is better when it's made by a Japanese. Look at Japanese car companies, Japanese headphone companies, Japanese camera companies, Japan's winnings boxing gloves and so on... they are truly the best at everything except nuclear weapon ;)
I found free runs to be uncomfortable for distance. I don't like any shoes under $100 from asics as they feels cheap, but the 2170's are very good for $105. I use the kayano 18 gels which are 120-130 but well worth it.
While labor is a big part of the cost, that gel is stupidly expensive. I have no doubt that people would pay the higher prices for the helmets, but the companies won't make them because of the cost. Yet another example of corporate greed.

Maybe they can look into why ALL of their shoes over the past two years are not true to their width and the toeboxes are too narrow. They used to be rock solid dependable and now it's nothing but misses.
Asics has perhaps the worst online customer service of any of the major sneaker company's in the U.S, better like 'em, if you return them for a credit or exchange be prepared to wait 8 weeks, yup 60 days for a credit or a exchange...Quality control of the products GelV Gel Lyte lll are only fair...Materials and colors were off, glue on soles unforgivable...both pairs were used in light rotation as a life style shoe in SoCal and in less than 7 months both pair looked stale, better values elsewhere!
