Wow! Lot’s of criticism in here. The one thing that made me raise an eyebrow was the open tub of intice ant bait next to a tub of delta dust, while filling the duster. With that in mind pretty much no separation of bait to pesticides.
Weird question but any idea if a product like Bifen IT, Tempo SC or Suspend will harm car paint? I have a swarm of ants on my 4 cars with thousands of ants walking around and I'd like to retire them before they go back to their nests.
Wow, some of you service techs are brutal! One thing I was curious about is the fact that he went W/granular bait and decided to do an exterior powers spray ? Which the spray would contaminate the bait. I definitely wouldn't "bash" the technician though, because I'm sure we all share the same background. If you issues, it may be a training issue, not a performance issue. But training does spell performance. If there's hardwood floors of course concentrate on (cracks/crevices ) as stated on the label, or use a material less harmful to wood surfaces.
Again that power sprayer is set too low because it doesn't seem to have any pressure the way he is jiggling the handle trying to get it to spray better
I'm starting a job as a pest/termite control tech on Monday in Tennessee. After reading these comments, I am a little nervous lol. I have no clue as to what to expect as the owner was quick to hire me. 10 minute interview and hired on the spot. The owner only mentioned 3 months of training and certification with the state, aside from the pay, days and hours. To the techs out there, are you timed on the customers "quotas" homes each day? How does your lunch break work? I'm assuming I get 1 hour for lunch since it's a 9 hour a day schedule. On average, how many houses does 1 tech do per day?
If this happened in Georgia, and this video was posted the Dept of AG would fine the tech on so many violations he would lose his license to apply pesticides . The company would lose its licensee to operate and someone would likely be facing jail time. Spraying baseboards is not only illegal, but it is an unnecessary over-application of pesticides inside of someones living environment. The fan spray {general surface} in the garage ( with Talstar- as stated by the narrator ) is a label violation. And applying both a bait and a repellent on the exterior is counter-productive. The application of a dust to the weep holes without the use of a respirator is a safety violation and a label violation as well and is illegal. Additionally, the tech filled the duster without a respirator, another safety/label violation. The tech also treated the yard, again illegal outside of 10ft, without posting a yard sign, another violation. Son, the fines are adding up and the total disregard of the label would set you up for some time in jail.

Why would you treat weap holes after spraying because cross contamination isn't real lol....also did you see how much dust drifted ...also where are his shoe covers....not a good idea to spray the customers garden hose.....I just see a tech that's careless and in a hurry
Justin Atwell cross contamination can occur if you treat ants with fipronil spray and then do an external spray for spiders and roaches with bifenthrin which is a deterant which negates the ant sprays theory of use
Dusting weep holes seems to be not only redundant but even dangerous to apply due to wind drift.the outside liquid treatment already covers those and once dust gets wet is mostly useless except for drione
