I thought I got used to it, but after searching, I learned about drivers. Years after that, this is the first time I see a UA-camr pointing this out. Got my like.

I'm so glad I waited, and this headphones came out. Sony does amazing things and this is one of them. To have a headphone do all this for this price it's amazing. My fave thing is the old school jack cable ( that's a classic) sometimes you can't charge your headphones anywhere or you need them to watch the movie on the plane, and with the wired cable it's best of both worlds. Im so happy with my Sony 720. Thank you for the great detailed video. Hope you enjoyed them too, and i got mines in blue too. 👍🤗

I just got the blue ones that I ordered 3 weeks ago from China, and I am learning it all. It's a large Win for Sony, if I compare them with the others I owned before ( WH-520s or something ) that were in this low-mid category . I found them 2 years ago on the top of the paper-trash container, outside my Apartment building but lost them 2 months ago in the bus. These 720's are very lightweight and feel like are the ones I'm always going to take with me on my way out. It has this Chip and all the comfort, but a Big nono for me is that I can't use the 360 reality Audio with Spotify, that is the platform most of us use for music. The preview of how 360 reality audio feels, left a bad taste in my mouth that Sony would do that so we all go to TIDAL or somewhere. I still got my 1000XM1 that are broken. I need to fix them, like I was going to do when they broke, 3 years ago, and then I'll compare them to these 720's. It will be interesting to see if they'll stand the test of time because they still worked perfectly when I sat on them and broke it. Will the App and updates translate or does Sony the same as Samsung, Apple and others, make it impossible for us to use it and stop updating them? Thanks for this review, useful for me now. Look, Influencers are doing their jobs, like you but I have not heard about this 40 hour breaking in with headphones. But when you told us you had gone with Sony to Amsterdam, then it made sense that you did not critique these 72's one time in this video. So this is just a long form Sponsored AD, disguised as an Review?! You said nothing about that this is an AD. That is just great. Who can you trust of all of them that get this stuff for free and are afraid to say the bad things so they don't get to travel the world and free stuff.
I’ve been seriously considering buying these headphones but I’m also debating with the XB910Ns because they seem good too and I know they have more bass but I’m finding it hard to decide between them. This would be my first pair of good headphones too.
These have good bass to, not as bassy as the 910n, but it packs a decent punch. You even can equalize them via software and give them a bass bost (the stock equalizer is very balance, you can play any music and it will sound pretty good)
@@iMapleCreator I might be a too late but I'm liking them so far. Definitely different to my PC main headphones: Philips x2hr, which are open back. They don't fold so I had to get a chunkier hard carry case to throw in my bag but that's not an issue if you don't travel much. Sound, battery life and connectivity is all pretty solid. They look good too. I would recommend and feel like they're worth it.
Definitely getting these. At first I was sold for the WH-XB910Ns, but after seeing these are £40 cheaper and the only difference is no extra bass, 100% getting these. Also (hopefully a decent upgrade to £25 Turtle Beach Recon 70s for gaming. Seems to good to be true

You think the same thing I thought. Too me Bluetooth is good for listening to pod casts or talking on the phone. For music Aux cable sounds better through a Walmarn emp3 player or a phone headphone jack.
Great review, I just picked these up. That said I'm reading about the burn in period and this seems to be a myth that's no longer valid at least for modern headphones.
I had a lot of headphones and earbuds and I will say the xm4s are my favourite for travelling and the xm3 earbuds are my very best to my experience I could up to the xm4s however I seen issues with them
my only complaint was the lack of travelling case/pouch. Like headphones have the price comes with at least a pouch and this one not coming with one is very disappointing
Now to decide what color to get. Blue one is nice but is only available at Best Buy. White might get dirty/yellowish since I plan to use this for years if it lasts long. Might just go with black to be safe
I have a question does the app improve the music played on the phone from youtube your own video/music player or streaming services and does the app have to allways be one for the sound settings to still be present with the headphones ? Also this is a great informative video.
Done it again is correct. It has the sidetone function like the 510s that you can't turn off. Sony, if you have to explain in the instructions that it's a feature, not a malfunction, maybe you should have an option to turn it off or get rid of it!
For such a low price, go for xm4. I got them for 300$ and i love them. Noise cancelation and sound is really good. I also love the eq set to all max, don't judge- it really sounds brighter and a lot better with it

You even can equalize them via software and give them a bass bost (the stock equalizer is very balance, you can play any music and it will sound pretty good)
@@victornavea6197 Is it still worth buying as soundcore dropped space one which have very good reviews? Any idea?
I've got the xb910ns and they are a excellent pair of headphones. the quick attention is really a welcome addition from my older sennheisers
Amazing video but the mic has a lot of cracking idk if that’s just my video
Thorough review, thank you very much. You earned a "like" when talking about the burn in period. SOO overlooked. Cheers!
yeah i remember the harman speakers very harsh ootb
Great review! I've been eyeing a more affordable Sony headphone until they launched this one. I might be getting this one very soon ❤
Bought one today for my wife at $148 AUD ~ 78 GBP from Amazon, hope she likes it.
just ordered these, very excited!
@@avxway how is the ANC?
Looks like a solid buy! Just ordered mine :D
Thanks for the quality review.
How do you like it so far? Is it worth it? I’m thinking of buying them
@@iMapleCreator
I might be a too late but I'm liking them so far.
Thanks for the EQ suggestion, I like it and will be using the first.
Really good review, got good insight from all angles.
1:41 As a beats owner, this gave me extreme anxiety (broke a beats headset trying to fit it onto my head 1 year after owning it)
Definitely getting these. At first I was sold for the WH-XB910Ns, but after seeing these are £40 cheaper and the only difference is no extra bass, 100% getting these. Also (hopefully a decent upgrade to £25 Turtle Beach Recon 70s for gaming. Seems to good to be true
Your first mistake is thinking anything wireless would be better for gaming thats an automatic failure. These are made more for like casual listening maybe everyday stuff. If you’re serious about gaming man don’t get these
How are they so far?
@@Fifi-jb3yx haven’t gotten them yet, hoping to get them in a couple of months or so
@@Fifi-jb3yx They sound like my Dan Clark Expanse headphones………😬 jk but they are definitely comfortable. They sound thinner than the xm4 I have but still punch above $150 with their features. Fully satisfied. Get em👍
@@Criticalmaze Dumb comment when Lightspeed/ 2.4 dongle conection exists lmao. its 2023 my dud.
Thank you, great review! Just got them and your explanation of the app was very helpful for when they arrived.
just bought a brand new new pair at the goodwill for 14.99. i like them
Thank you for the good review!👍🏻
You're welcome 😊
My WF-C500's just broke and i saw these headohones online and your review has certainly convinced me that this would be a good purchase!
(Ps im watching from Bulgaria 🙂)
Did you buy it
Thanks very helpful. This is my first bluetooth purchase. I got more info from you about features than from Sony sites.❤
Excellent review. You convinced me to buy these for my wife to replace her ageing Anker Soundcore headphones
thats one of best review i have watched....
Appreciate the amount of time and effort you have put into this video ❤❤❤ thanks a lot
You think the same thing I thought. Too me Bluetooth is good for listening to pod casts or talking on the phone. For music Aux cable sounds better through a Walmarn emp3 player or a phone headphone jack.
Getting me a pair of these tomorrow great review, when did these first go on sale👍👍👍
Very recently
You've sold me on these headphones, only problem is I don't have enough for them, time to save up a bit more ;(
Great video but when you turned the noise cancelling on I just heard a different noise.
this was by far one of the best reviews ive ever watched on youtube.
Hands down the best review ever! Thanks bro
Its around a 100 bucks -_-
Thanks a lot for the review
very weel done review, I like your detailed and professional approach. well done!
Loved the review..... just ordered em after watching the review 😂
nice one! so we finally have a budget version of xm5 🎉
Thanks for the review, getting ready order mines Dj-ing 🎶
Which one shall I choose between Sony wh-ch720n and Soundcore space one? Which one better sound quality?
Now to decide what color to get. Blue one is nice but is only available at Best Buy. White might get dirty/yellowish since I plan to use this for years if it lasts long. Might just go with black to be safe
i was going for the xm5s but youve convinced me to get the ch720ns
Sony literally makes the most funky names ever
Great review 👏 made my mind up about getting a pair 👍
is it better as compared to soundcore space q45?
@@digimanbro5462 the microphone is better on Sony WH-CH720N
I have a question does the app improve the music played on the phone from youtube your own video/music player or streaming services and does the app have to allways be one for the sound settings to still be present with the headphones ? Also this is a great informative video.
Great review!
I'm just wondering what other ANC headphones of similar pricing are worth considering?
Waoo !! the way you reviewed this is really impressive. !! keep the good work !! Subscribed !!
Great review!
Just bought these for my wife after checking many opinions online and this is possibly the best review so far.
Thank you.
That's really good to hear 🙏
Done it again is correct. It has the sidetone function like the 510s that you can't turn off. Sony, if you have to explain in the instructions that it's a feature, not a malfunction, maybe you should have an option to turn it off or get rid of it!
would you consider to compare the ch720n to soundcore q45?
Great review man. How would you compare this to the xm4s? They can go on sale for around $220 so would you say there's that much of a difference?
For such a low price, go for xm4.
I got them for 300$ and i love them.
Noise cancelation and sound is really good.
I also love the eq set to all max, don't judge- it really sounds brighter and a lot better with it
My personal opinion is, if you don't.mind spending the extra cash. The XM4s will be worth it
@WhatGear yoo thanks for the message! What is the reason why the xm4s would be better? Is the sound quality that different between the two?
@@ZCooker
Sound quality ? On Sony's consumer headphones ?
Ay ay ay you're in for a ride
I'll just put it as nicely as I can : *you don't buy the XM4s for sound quality* ☠️
The WH-720N either ☠️ though I will say that it sound a trillion times better than the XM4 simply because you don't get that hedonistic amount of bass the XM line is infamous for on the WH-720s
Also if you're into relax listening, these are perfect, warm tonality and relatively tame treble makes it great for classical or lo-fi
If you want sound quality, uh damn ☠️ 20$ Chinese earplugs literally sound way way better than any Bluetooth headphone on the planet
And I'm not joking, look up Tangzu Wan'er.
@@xxjojoxx-35 what do you think if this 720n compared to the soundcore q45s? is it better or worse?
Do you recommend them for audiophiles?
Brilliant review! Just ordered one. Wondering why do they take 3.5 hours for a complete charge when battery could go upto 40% with 10 mins of charging?
That’s how rechargeable batteries normally work. It’s science!
Thank you for the wonderful review!!!!
No problem
I bought these in white a week ago but returned them due to high sound leakage, anything I was listening to at even 50 percent was so noticeable to anyone sitting next to me
oh really?
This dude does burn in, WTF. The GOAT! The GOAT! The GOAT!
Thank you for the review!!! This is best for my budget thanks again!
Sh520 are half the price of these, also look nice using with a rose gold macbook, should i still buy those or these 720n?
Which one is better between this Sony's, and the Soundcore q45?
NICE! 👍 Watched on my X80K with XM5 😀
