Have studied Picasso from a young 🌱. .....Redhawk!.... He was a massive collector of textiles and miniature large pieces of art all over 🌎 World...? Never have I come across a more awesome sweater....😅
Jokes to kill time while tuning: - On my way to the show today i saw a stegosaurus named Suzie munching on some leaves. She must be new around here, I've never seen herbivore! - Did you hear about the explosion at the cheese factory? There was nothing left but de brie! - I've been trying to change out all the furniture in my room, but the only new thing I've gotten is a couch. Oh well, sofa so good. - My fiddle player used to wear a mood ring all the time, but he lost it the other day. I really have no idea how he feels about that. - Russian dolls are so annoying! they're just so full of themselves! glad you're feeling better, and congratulations on making your first sweater
I actually love your sweater 😅 we used to go thrifting all the time and a good sweater was always a treasure, especially if you could tell someone had made it. I think you will look back fondly on that sweater someday! Thanks for the tune glad you are feeling better!
"Function over fashion" is what I always say, But after witnessing that sweater... I just closed my eyes and listened to you play. 😊 So glad you're now feeling better! 🙂 Thank you for sharing your art with us today; It brought a smile to my face, whether It was due to the nice music that flowed this way Or the comfy garment that's a trendsetter. 😁
I love the sweater! Well, certainly it’s good wardrobe for a banjolele video. It might go well with propeller hat if you’d want to bring that out of retirement.
AI will never learn to copy true art! And if you make a mistake playing, it is not a mistake, it is a proof of no AI involved, like a quality mark... Love these doses of joy😁
Glad you're feeling better. I like the sweater! You'll never be somewhere with someone else wearing the same thing. I miss seeing Columbo. Nice playing.
My father played a banjolele when he was young. I remember seeing it when I was quite young. Nobody wanted to teach me to play it even though I wanted to. Love the sweater! :)
Well , the sweater should be at least as loud as the banjo ! 🤣 That's sweater should have its own UA-cam channel ! I am curious, what brand and model of banjolele is that ? I have a baritone Goldtone and I love it !
The sweater looks fine! I can't get over the rhythm you get with the claw hammer stroke on the 4 string banjolele. I think it would be very hard to achieve that rhythm if one were not accustomed to the claw hammer stroke.
My banjolele used to go out of tune like crazy till I tightened the screws that are inside the tuning pegs (I don't know if all makes and models have them, though). Also, love the sweater.
I’ve been looking at Sashiko sewing. I think if you spent time going over the patches that you might make an integration of colors to patch it. Like a daisy, or zigzag, or some other winding stitch. I like your placement and am endeared by the depth of character in your sweater. The banjalele also pulls at the heart strings. Considering your collection of banjos and the diversity of build methods from around the world, why not initiate sweater creativity. Keep it and keep on keeping on.
That's a hobby I've wanted to try but never had the time to do. It looks interesting to say hahah, but the important thing is if it feels nice. Edit: You said it feels very cozy, that's good to hear.
Joke I heard at an open mic from a woman on autoharp this week, ukulele last time: "If you drop an autoharp and a uke from a 10- story building, which would hit the ground first? Who cares!"
Love it or hate it, I guarantee you are the only human that owns a sweater that looks exactly like that one! 😂🤣 Honestly, I think it's charming because it's unique and made with love. I would totally wear it! 🙂💙
* surfer accent * Sick sweater, dude! Get it? Sick?? Glad you're feeling better!! You know you're creative when you make a sweater while sick to keep from going insane. It's a good sweater, because you made it yourself and it looks like it lost a fight, which makes it a conversation piece.
The sweater is very Partonesque. As for banjo tuning jokes, you can tune a Harley but you can't tune a banjo, and just be glad you're not playing a lute!
Duke Ellington: "If I go one day without practising, I notice; If I go two days without practising, the band will start to notice; If I go three days without practising, the audience might start to notice. And that must never be. (Paraphrase) As to the sweater: no comment.
Actually, i am not much of a sweater guy, but the main thing is, if it is soft and warm & cozy, wear it.. It is really a cool sweater.. The sweater is fitting for your smiling personality.. I love the sweater on you.. Very colorful... Very interesting colors. I think you did really good on the sweater sister.. From brother Harvey ✝️🇺🇸🤠🪕🪕 Oh, and Don,t think it is ugly cause it is not ugly..
I read horrendous sweater and I thought - Yeah yeah I hear that all the time for any ol sweater with a print on it.. Nope this is a horrendous sweater. Bravo!
For the love of GOD weave in your ends! /s Other than that the sweater looks good, it is certainly a vibe. Maybe make it a little longer? I find crochet likes to lose length after you make it.
It's cool. Dolly Parton would love your sweater of many colors. Mandolin players (and I'm one) spend half their time tuning and the other half playing out of tune.
Joke while tuning: If a guitar player and a banjo player fall off of a bridge at the same time, which one reaches the bottom first? The guitar player. The banjo player has to stop and tune 😂
I couldn't make a sweater if you paid me, so I am impressed. Does the weather affect the tuning, too much humidity? Probably not so much with plastic heads. Anyway, I got tested today and had a clear banjo deficiency, so you saved my health. Thanks bunches.
Rose said this about the sweater: It's something else. My dad joke: Why aren't banjo players good at surveillance? Because you can hear their down-picking a mile away!
She explains how she tunes it in the beginning of this vid: DGBD - like a five string banjo without the G "drone string." In fact, I'm going to see if my uke can do that right now! > ua-cam.com/video/mScozkmnPOE/v-deo.htmlsi=5VtJMe5lIG0-ZGyF
@@piguy3point14 Thank you for responding to my comment. I was subtly suggesting that having the tuning closer to the instrument's normal pitch, it can be tuned "like a banjo" by quite simply tuning the A string down to G. Voila. And the instrument is tuned within the realm of its intended range for a much better sound quality. It would sound "exactly" like a banjo capo'd on the fifth fret. I was leaving it up to Ms. Sanders to get to the GCEG tuning from there because learning is part of the fun. Oh. And it's your uke, tune it as you wish!
I love everything about the sweater.
The sweater is a masterpiece! Picasso ain't got nothing on you!
Agree!
😂,,
Have studied Picasso from a young 🌱.

Who's Picasso? 😆

glad you're feeling better, and congratulations on making your first sweater
The CEO of Ikea was just made Prime Minister of Sweden. They are assembling their cabinet now.
Oh my! These are fantastic!!! ❤
Patchwork Girl of Oz! Red Rocking Chair sounds great on the uke!
Dig the sweater, very dystopian or post apocalyptic.
That sweater has an attitude of its own. I think it needs a name just like your banjos. Thank you for sharing your sunshine with us.😊
I think we should refer to it as "The Sweater" from now on.
That sweater is a statement. I'm not sure what it's stating, or in what language, but I like it.
So state we all!
Hear hear
It's the sweater of many colors. I started to say, you cleaned out the rag bag on that one. Glad you're felling better!
I actually love your sweater 😅 we used to go thrifting all the time and a good sweater was always a treasure, especially if you could tell someone had made it. I think you will look back fondly on that sweater someday! Thanks for the tune glad you are feeling better!
Phoebe with her awesome Joseph coat of many colors! A must for every banjoist!😎🪕
It's like a sweater made of washcloths! It's pretty much something
The pied jumper:)
Sweaters a keeper 😂
Heal quickly and feel better soon Phebes ❤
Phoebe, you, your music and your sweater bring me so much joy. 😊
Not horrible, indeed. Always delightful.
"Function over fashion" is what I always say,

It was due to the nice music that flowed this way
Or the comfy garment that's a trendsetter. 😁
Nice claw hammer on the banjo uke!! I don’t think it is less dignified. They both have their unique personalities.
Thanks!!
Cozy and warm are more important than how it looks, glad you are feeling better!!
I love the sweater - the fact you made it from scraps is super cool! 😁
Glad you are feeling better! That sweater looks really warm!
Sometime we need a tour of your shed. All we get to see is the one corner.
Joke: What kind of lights did Noah install on the Ark?
Answer: Flood lights
😂
Lol I love the sweater and the music
thanks for the post lovely as usual!
Happy sweater and happy music!
Hope the sickness goes away :)
When does a joke become a dad joke?
When it becomes apparent.
I think the sweater looks great!!!
The banjo and the sweater brightened up the day even with the sun shining bright. all is well.
That sweater is very unique. I'm impressed that you made it, and it fits. Very nice. 😊
Love the sweater, Doc! Thanks for a wonderful dose!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
You’re often talking about tooning your banjo, but I’ve never seen you pull out so much as a crayon!
I love the sweater! Well, certainly it’s good wardrobe for a banjolele video. It might go well with propeller hat if you’d want to bring that out of retirement.
Reminds me of Dolly Parton 's coat of many colors. You are adorable, your personality shines.

Sweater that matches your many talents!! ;) colorful!
So glad to see you back! Just like your banjo playing the sweater shows your creativity! Love it!
Phoebe and the Amazing Technicolor DreamSweater!
Sweater of many colors! It’s fun
The NECK MUFF on her is the best part; you've made a bad day good so thank you as always 😂❤
Yes! It is!
I started off agreeing that this sweater is attrotious...but it kind of grew on me during the video...looks like a warm blanket.
The sweater of many colours is guaranteed not to scratch the Banjolele ' and it will keep you warm while you're not well '
Great music...thanks! What a colorful visage added to a beautiful sound. Does banjolele have a name yet. Beanjo Sprout? Or some sort of Sprout?
The sweater looks warm at least! Great job. I'm happy you are feeling better.
Glad you're feeling better. I like the sweater! You'll never be somewhere with someone else wearing the same thing. I miss seeing Columbo. Nice playing.
We’ll call the sweater a good first effort! I love the dangling strings. Gives it character!
I'd buy that sweater in a heartbeat
I was thinking there should be some "The Doctor is In" merch. This would sell!
Did you hear about the guy who auditioned for the symphony as a harp player? It turned out he couldn’t play at all. Everybody knew he was a lyre.
Now you have a sweater for Christmas parties! It’s truly a masterpiece !!
Continued healing!
Love the sweater!! ❤❤❤

Very good outfit. Love banjo and can play a little bit in claw hammer style. Greetings from Finland!

Nice sweater!
Great sweater, it looks nice and warm! Especially like the Vespa inner tube around the neck...
Glad you're feeling better! Great tune, thank you!
Olive Oyl of Popeye cartoon fame comes to mind.

I want that sweater. I NEED it. It whispers to my soul.
Reminiscent of Joseph's coat of many colors, good "recovery" gear, and welcome back
I am a knitter and crocheter and I love your sweater I believe it says something of who you are and that is beautiful
I am happy to hear that you are feeling better! This was yet another fun video, thank you 🙂
That's a hobby I've wanted to try but never had the time to do.

That sweater reminds me of something Mrs. Weasley might have made for Ron! 😉 Magical!

Very nice old-timey sound!
The sweater is different. I like it! Be proud, I can't make a sweater or play banjo and you do both!
The sweater is very Partonesque. As for banjo tuning jokes, you can tune a Harley but you can't tune a banjo, and just be glad you're not playing a lute!
Thank you for turning me on to this song. I’m learning to play it today.

Love the sweater because it made you smile and laugh! Great!
The sweater is sick! You're starting a new trend!
Could be the tuners are slipping

Duuuide. That sweater is sick!
Haha you look like you were sick nice banjo playing. I do like your sweater
You said that the sweater is comfortable and that’s what really matters, it’s kind of function over fashion
Nice Sweater its like coat of many colors and good playing get well.
Get well ASAP! I miss your daily installments of banjo, humor, and your witty personality. Sweater? aaah okay sorta. Just kidding. Frail on
Sweater cool, 9/10.
i think the sweater is great in a weird way but i will stick to knitting LOL
I think you confused a page of the banjo tab with the knitting pattern?!
I love the sweater you made!
It's cool. Dolly Parton would love your sweater of many colors. Mandolin players (and I'm one) spend half their time tuning and the other half playing out of tune.
Sweater looks comfyyyyyyy
💙 🪕 🎶🎶🎶
I liked the sweater! Looks nice and warmy.
💛 It is sunshine exhibited!

I fear no man. But that sweater... It scares me.
Love the sweater you look adorable (yes I’m being truthful) and the playing was awesome as usual.
Got a banjolele but I'm never going to manage the full George Formby.
A limbo champ walks into a bar..... and loses!
That sweater is so delightful it's atrocious and so atrocious it's delightful. Impressive!
It's a sick sweater!
May I ask how you have it tuned? My ukulele is tuned G C E A and I use a "low G" string.

I have a sweater just like that 🙂🎨🌻💐🌱

You know a banjo picker is at your door cause they don't have the right key and don't know when to come in.
