in the game itself they're often compared to be sibling-like with fuuka calling Junpei the sloppy older brother and ken the younger reliable brother. It's apparently because Junpei never had the chance to act like a senpai before so he actually puts in a lot of effort to try to be cool to ken lol
I like hard Junpei goes during his dance, but when Ken’s with him, he holds back a lot so he can keep up and not overshadow him. Junpei’s really considerate of Ken and the two work really well together.
When Junpei gets up the partner interacts in some way with him. Makoto: Taps him as he spins out. Yukari: Taps him on the back. Mitsuru: Commands him up like a puppet on a string by pulling her hand up as if shes controlling his movements. Ken: Plays bloody leap frog overhis shoulder.
The phantom thieves are just a little special. Makoto is weird, Futaba is weirder, Yusuke is weirdest and Ryuji broke his entire body in addition to his leg the moment he stepped onto to dance floor.
KobraMeow Makoto is weird in a bad, very awkward way. Futaba is actually a fun and goofy dancer. Yusuke is dramatic, but he’s got some really great moves. Ryuji is a mess. Haru actually has a legitimate dance style.
It's Junpei after all.. He and Yukari are trading digs at each other (Junpei teases and scares Yukari a lot while Yukari shoots down Junpei for being Junpei) He embarrassed Mitsuru when she had to call the police after looking at his room in its usual state of mess..
I think the game is made that way because of all the alternate costumes and hairstyles. The characters will phase through their outfits because if not the programmers would have to code each dance like, 100 times

What he does is actually incredibly technical. A lot of the P3 cast are really good dancers, but Junpei is one of the best ones even among them. You'd need a ton of dance training to even _try_ and imitate what he's doing here, even if he makes it look easy.
I kinda wish Persona 3 was extended in terms of time and they allowed you to date Junpei. Basically, give you an extra few months for Junpei to heal and you can further his social link to an actual relationship that isn't platonic because they killed me inside with all of those flirtatious remarks.

I have to say, I really like Junpei and Ken's dance. There's a certain level of innocence and playfulness to it.
