It's very cool to watch a couple of the BEST in the business work together. I learn so much watching you two. If I could go back 30 or 40 years I might have chosen your career path.
Very interesting to see the pond build from scratch. You not only do great work but your commentary really helps explain why you do things the way you do.
It’s gotta be nice having a skilled operator to “just show up” and help out. You two actually work pretty well together. It’s very nice to see. Hey DP!!! You know what you are doing!!
First things first: Great video!! Absolutely thrilled Chris had a playmate this week and DP more than fits the bill. The chemistry between you two is not only priceless but magnificent!!! You both have your strong points but your work ethics are the best. Congrats you two!!!
3 years later and still an interesting video with Mike assisting you on building a 3/4 acre pond. Like you said in the video, 'it takes the right person to anticipate your next move, although when that happens, they have or start their own business'. So true. Again, Chris, wishing you a healthy and prosperous business in 2025!
Cant help but think of Tim when Chris was talking about good employees. They were like left brain, right brain. A great team! Imagine what Chris. Tim, Mike and John could get done! Cheers!
It is so interesting when the two get together, enjoy the videos that both of you put out. At times it is hard to watch some of these other operators push and throw dirt, the two of you work with such grace.
It is truly amazing when you can find a person that both work together and can read each other's mind the way you two operate. I have worked with one person like that before.
The back and forth banter is what this channel has been missing ever since Timmy left. Ole DP made this video much more entertaining to watch. I guess what I'm trying to say is Chris needs a full time Mike lol. Its a shame people would rather collect a covid check instead of working for a living! 👍🏻👍🏻
Chris I'm sure you will get to met Jerry at the meet & Greet at the end of the month, Mike mention that Jerry was going. Great seeing two great workers working together.
Hello Chris Guins and it's very cool that you and Mike that Let's Digeit-18 &Dirt Perfect and you Two are always extremely Very Professional with everything you Guy's are doing with your Heavy Equipment Machinery and professional Operating Skills ! And I'm always watching Both of your U-Tube channel's and Chris you Done a very beautiful Job on Jeff's 5 Acre Pond build a a very Big Help getting Jeff's Mansion ground Work started and I've very much enjoyed watching every bit of All of you all's Work in process ! 👍🌄🌞🌠🦅🇺🇸🦅 And May God Bless you All very much !
That’s a whole lot of work for one day. For those of us not in the business, his 850 is a dozer, I gather. What make? I thought your Komatsu’s ROPS went over the hood, too. That is a pretty sharp little dozer.
I’m glad you finally have some good help again Chris, I hate seeing you having to do everything yourself brother! Now you can move some dirt faster! Looks great so far, thanks for sharing the video brother! Great job guys! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 ( The Pond Doctor ) is at again! 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
"A good core trench will eliminate the need to put your lake on anyone's prayer list." You and Mike are a team to reckon with. Have fun while the sun shines. Next season is mud season. Great job.
Hey Chris & Mike !!! Great looking so far !!! Too bad that you couldn't have started sooner , but you had to do the grades too !! Have a good week & ENJOY your time in Louisville !!
Chris, you sure had DP run his balls off dozin!!!! It's extremely hard to find someone in this field to mentally be on the same page as you. Nicely done guys!
I liked that, "Just mix it all up, and make something beautiful out of it"... That was a pleasure watching two highly skilled operators working together.. DP used to working with a crew and LD18 working solo.. When you a job going almost flawlessly you know the operators are very skilled and on the same page.. Very enjoyable to watch........... 10/10
So good to watch two guys who just might be considered experts (LOL) at their craft collaborating on a job.....I am an old retired codger watching from down under (although I am an american) and really enjoying the banter between ya"ll........Keep on keepin on>>>>>>>>>>>>
Chris, Team Work Makes The Dream Work, when the two of the Best, Work together, Its MAGIC!!! It shows here with you and Mike. THey say that great minds think a like. Well you two have just proven that ! Stay safe you two, and God bless.Wanda In Ok
Thoroughly enjoy it every time these two get together !! It's like go daddy time .... all we need is Gerry , Man behind the scene , and a few others that I haven't mention ... ( yet ) ... lol
That was fun watching you guys work together. U were correct saying anyone that know how to do is self employed. Thats why I'm self employed. Haha. Great video 👍👍
You may want to consider getting a custom made rubber mat so all you need do is pull the mat out, shake it off and put it back in nice and clean again. Solves the OCD.
I’m with mike. Yellow grease gun left in the back of the truck, even ran it over with the Jeep by accident, been working wonderfully for 5 years now. The red one we had at work lasted less than a case of tubes before she let the magic smoke fly. 🤷🏼♂️
*Absolutely a Fantastic Team!!! Both Leaders In the Industry!!!* (I liked when DP wiped his hands on the bottom of his pants from greasing, and then jumped into the new dozer seat🤦♂️😂)
This kind of dirt is called "soandso" and it's good for "use case". Finally some dirtology. I appreciate this kind of information, Chris. Thank you! :)
The Day begin not good excavator battery empty, but the car give help. Then start the pond building. Chris with the excavator and Mike with the Dozer. The two a best quality team. A great video, i glad my to the next continuation. 👌
You realize when DP gets home he's going to tell his boss he needs another piece of equipment And she will look at him and say she will need to have a talk with you. Lol 😆 🤣 😂
Yeah Tom he really liked that Komatsu dozer so I wouldn’t be surprised if The next dozer that he gets is a Komatsu 39, that size of dozer would be perfect for his operation
Guys, you 2 men are dang good operators. Both of you just almost know what the other one is thinking. When split up, you two may manage your jobs just a tad different but both of you are like me in that y'all LOVE a good challenge. Thanks for all the explanations of how you make it work. You two could make a hell of a good TV show working together as long as you bring in all of your helpers. Great video Chris! 👍
It's weird to see two pieces of equipment running at the same time with two different operators I know that helps you out Chris hell get hooked on the Volvo
My name is Bill, I'm using my wife's phone. I love watching you and Mike work together. I watch his chanel too. He is good, but you are better explaining things. I really like the care you take of your machines.
Chris, enjoy your videos. I have a pond in my front yard that is approximately 30 years. During the summer I had some clean out work done a d since then when we have a hard rain the walls continue to cave in. My neighbor has tried to help me but was unsuccessful. I am wondering if I can put up a retaining wall in the areas that have caved in. Will have to do work myself as what I had was spent on the clean out. The company that did clean out came back and put a load of dirt, charged me for the dirt and caved in at the next hard rain. Would appreciate any idea(s). Thank you.
I was thinking about your "helper", and that reminded me of something my Dad used to say and it generally proved to be true: "One boy, all boy; two boys, half a boy; three boys, no boy at all."
Hi Chris just wondering how many hours a day does it take to build a nice pond you make it look so easy to build a pond and you make me so quick on your video by the time you have finished building the pond it looks amazing
These two do work together real good it is like a swiss watch, I would like to see jerry come down there and show chris how it is done not to take anything away form chris but jerry is a master
Chris, thanks for showing DP the new fancy toys, he needs a 220! You forgot to mention, that he can afford it, because he can also replace the dirt roller and the 140 with the 220, plus he has his lowboy to move it on. Tuff sell to get rid of the JD-120 as it loves it too much, but he can get rid of that and the 304 and just buy that Hyundai! Additional solution (Take the cab off the 850J and put it on the 850 so he can have heat and air-conditioning). Problems solved...well except for having the money for all that. 😁😁😁
It's very cool to watch a couple of the BEST in the business work together. I learn so much watching you two. If I could go back 30 or 40 years I might have chosen your career path.

Hey DP!!! You know what you are doing!!
So amazing to watch you take an empty field and create a beautiful pond from it! I want one! 😊
First things first: Great video!! Absolutely thrilled Chris had a playmate this week and DP more than fits the bill. The chemistry between you two is not only priceless but magnificent!!! You both have your strong points but your work ethics are the best. Congrats you two!!!
You two working together make for a well oiled pond building machine. Moved some dirt in a couple of hours there. 👍
3 years later and still an interesting video with Mike assisting you on building a 3/4 acre pond. Like you said in the video, 'it takes the right person to anticipate your next move, although when that happens, they have or start their own business'. So true. Fun to watch you two banter & work together. I know Mike's just helping-(having fun).
The way any team should be!
Man I wish all the dirt was like this! Been moving dirt for 20 plus years up here in Ohio.. Only a dirt mover can appreciate good dirt!
Chris you missed a perfect time to put a sign on the back of the dozer .
WARNING STUDENT DRIVER.
It is good to see another pond being constructed. And seeing another person help you. The content of video's are great enjoy them all. 😀👍🇨🇦
Cant help but think of Tim when Chris was talking about good employees. They were like left brain, right brain. A great team! Imagine what Chris. Tim, Mike and John could get done! Cheers!

Fun watching you two working together. The progress is phenomenal with 2 well-run machines!

Great video Chris and mike. Two of my favorite channels. Ray from Oregon
Greetings from sunny Greece. Hope you are all well.
You Two absolutely crack me up I enjoy your friendship and you can really see it!
Great video Chris Mike make a great team Thanks for sharing 👍 👏
I hope they can do this more often
Uncle John, Mike ,Chris and Tim and Jerry could give next day pond service, Ordered today Have it tomorrow! Seeded and strawed !
That soil is GORGEOUS! I would love to get my hands on some of that for pottery.
Good to see Mike come visit. Always a video with laughs when he joins. Have him bring Lt Dan next time!
Lieutenant Dan will never be finished it's called a shop ornament hahaha
The back and forth banter is what this channel has been missing ever since Timmy left. Ole DP made this video much more entertaining to watch. This is a company job, so it’s the company 220 and the company dozer on this job.
@@basshead2003 You might be correct except this dozer is set up for a brush rake, Chris had 1 video about the brush rake I’m not sure when it was
@@dirtfarmer7472 Co. Dozer. It has a root rake, too.
Excellent video guys, especially liked the shot of both of you lads work together in tandem-great work!
In Florida, a pond is just a hole that is deeper than the ground water. On my property, that is about 5-6 feet depending on the season.
You are a blessed man Chris to do what you love to do.
I’m glad you finally have some good help again Chris, I hate seeing you having to do everything yourself brother! Now you can move some dirt faster! Looks great so far, thanks for sharing the video brother! Great job guys! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻

With the right supervision, you can get things done with temporary workers like this new guy.

It really makes my little OCD heart feel good to see the laser level lifts on the pond dam....
Anyone jealous as hell of these guys working with someone competent?? Looks like a miracle!
Ol' Mike ain't bad when he's a little bit humbled. Good show.
Best regards from Indiana.

So much to do! Keep it up Chris you will make it to the light. That's the only thing that's important.
The wall of clay sticking to the dozer blade says it all regarding compactability & permeability.
No leaks likely in this dam.
DP was running that dozer like he stole it. That was a lot accomplished in a short amount of time.
