Nice collection you have, I specially like the white Mig 3 (right?) 👌 I recognise your view on scale. Having been building models since 1979, like you, I have seen it all. So few decades ago I set my standard to 1/32 and 1/35. My reasoning being that every model in my collection can be seen from the same distance (to my display), in the same scale. To me this has been working fine. The only downfall being alot of bombers, airliners, trainers etc being unavailable. So few years ago I set up a new display upstairs in my studio to showcase 1/48 bombers and 1/144 airliners. Cheers!
Yes it's the Trumpeter 1/32 Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 02230. One of my all time favorites on the shelf. Nice kit and it come out much better than I expected. Totally agree on the scales, in an ideal world I would do all the planes in 1/32 but there are practical issues. 1/35 is great for amour. The few 1/72 tanks I did I never liked. Although I have never done one I have been curious about the 1/16 tanks...maybe one day. Thanks for the comment!
@@Quarter-Mile-Models Oh is it a Trumpeter? That kinda got me off guard tbh. I recently build a Bf 109 F4 (that turned out to be a G2..) and wasn't all that impressed. Unreliable dimensions, unusable PE and decals and the fact that I bought it specifically to be a F4, witch it wasn't made me decide never to buy Trumpeter again. Than again the G2 does look great, lol. Is your (beautifull) Mig 3 like that aswell? Cheers.
Keep up the great work cobba
Thanks mate
