Thanks for the video. So the only thing that was done to the car powerwise - was an ECU remap? No turbo, no larger injectors, different cams, no larger fuel pump? Just a replaced intercooler (from the 210kW M version) and deleted EGR and DPF? Have the exact same engine - D30O1 in completely original condition - also with xDrive - but am a bit unsure about long-term reliability in case only engine power/torque numbers get lifted without mechanical changes (apart from larger IC and EGR off - which I'm also not doing). See that you're still active posting videos in 2023 - could you please do an update video with explaining how the car has been? How frequent are the engine oil changes? Have your replaced transmission fluid in the ZF gearbox? How is everything on the car with increased power/torque? 3 years ago (the user's not active any more) another youtuber - Nut Job, I think - from UK - did a re-map or just added a so-called "power box" to his 530 (previously changed a snapped chain). After short time the engine spun a bearing and was done. How has the reliability been so far? Either way - well done for the video - and looks like BMW has at least for the front part of the car done some good engineering. The electrical fan can also be easily removed to gain more space. Replacing the intercoolers on a C6 generation audi, for instance, requires taking the entire front clip off - which is a pain. Anyway. Have a good one - and greetings from Latvia.
@@FrancescoGalante91 Did you calculated that ? I am trying to find dimensions and from what I find it's +0.6 liter, or 9% increase over stock. Not sure if I should pay 100€ for such difference.
Certo che non è collocato proprio nel posto migliore, un itercooler dovrebbe prendere aria freschissima non dovrebbe essere dietro al radiatore del motore, è una posizione inefficiente, un errore di progettazione
I Paraurti "M-Sport" hanno i convogliatori d'aria che portano aria direttamente al intercooler e quelli più esterni vicino ai fendinebbia ai dischi freno ;)
