It grinds my gears that Jacob still holds onto the hand cannon's grip with both hands even when the foregrip (Stability Upgrade) is installed 😭
They should have made the upgrade for its base grip other than adding the foregrip would have made sense and looked better.
@@DylanODon1 yeah but that would apply to most weapons in one upgrade. Because when he swaps the guns he actually swaps out the top part and not the grip.. lore wise
@@roelvanooijen3803 true but if you look at the grip of the pistol when holstered they actually have a different grip on them. Instead of a foregrip on the pistols the should have went with an holo/optical sight.
They might add that in later updates
Many games do that. Mass Effect had the same problem.
Adding physical improvements in real time to weapons appeals to me a lot. Like here, The Last of Us duology and Homefront The Revolution.

some players complaint about the weapons are so few to choose, yet I think 7 (or 8 only, maybe?) weapons is fine but they just looks so "normal", I really love the creative weapons in Dead Space like Plasma Cutter or Force Gun or Line Gun they looks so cool with cool shooting VFX bind with their Engineering-like Functions. But weapons in Callisto just......I don't know how to say but looks like marine guns which is so ordinary, still good but just not in my expectation.
They suck. No flame thrower, no laser chainsaw, just boring guns.
@@MatPLJ Calm, mi amigo. Not what we expected but at least CQC part looks cool. And don't forget we can still look forward for DS remake.
I think because the enemies type, most enemies in DS are kind of zombies with blade hand which will rush toward and sliced you, so some laser cutter type weapon are more efficient as you really need to cut their head. While in this game most enemies will meele you so the weapon looks like standard marine weaponry.

As Issac and other crews crying out loud in whole series：CUT THEIR LIMBS！Try shoot their LIMBS such as arms and legs first you can save your ammo and kill them in a fast way, make sure you do this in DS remake.

I like the modular, utilitarian look of the game's weapons. This is a corporate prison after all so weapons have to be of a one size fits all aesthetic. I like that theres also weapon manufacturers added on, which helped the world get fleshed out some. Though I found the combat tedious, I enjoyed the normal difficulty and look forward to playing again ia a harder difficulty.
I like how everyone is ignoring the 9 almost 10 million Callisto Credits, like how!?!
In old times we use art money or Cheat Engine, for game money.

I would really like to see different suite upgrades as well. That would be really cool and would add extra value to a gameplay.
Like extra health nodes and damage resistance? Yeah I can get behind that. Thing is I like that we’re never truly overpowered. It makes the fight more interesting

Quick question: If I ignore the tactical schematics, would I still get the ammo for it, or something else take its place (credits, ammo, health, etc.)?
Other ammo takes its place
I never built the Tactical Pistol or the Assault Rifle and i only really ever found ammo for the Hand Cannon
The answer is no! If you just use the hand cannon and riot gun that’s the only ammo you’ll find.
I guess I'll try to beat the game again, maybe after a patch or two. There was no problem in my playthrough, I just want to know how better it's going to be when I jump back in.
@@juanjosemendivil1626 they definitely need to at dodge prompts and work on the timing windows! But from what I read NG+ is supposed to be coming in February.
If you dont have a weapon in your inventory you wont get ammo for it

I’m on my fourth play through and I’ve spent a lot of my time figuring out which weapon is the best. Here’s what I’ve found.
My ranking would be
8. Tactical Pistol-Weak, heavy kick and poor stability. Worst gun by far.
7. Skunk Gun-Very low ammo well, no range at all, basically a weaker version of the Riot gun.
6. Baton-Unlimited ammo and fun to use. It sets up nice shots with the guns but is useless against bosses.
5. Shive-Also unlimited ammo but also provides an instant kill. Also useless against bosses and enemies who spot you.
4. Riot Gun-A beefed up Skunk Gun. More powerful, slightly better range, more ammo, and a second fire that one shots all non-bosses.
3. Assault Rifle-60 ammo per slot! Amazing range! Using secondary fire mode I’ve killed bosses in seconds. It kills bosses the quickest. Easy.
2. Hand Cannon-Ok. Me being bias. Secondary fire mode is insanely fun to use. That’s it. Assault Rifle is probably better but less fun I think.
1. GRP-One shot kill anything you can pick up. There is a reason they don’t sell GRP batteries in the store. The game would be a cake walk.

I love the game. I am more of a RDR2, GTA, Watch Dogs, Arkham kinda guy and don't invest enough time in linear games with exception of some really great games like Detroit BH, Uncharted 4, Splinter Cell etc. And boy I'm loving my time with Callisto. The graphics, the animation, the top notch sound design are industry leading. I just wish there were more enemy types and suit designs.
One of my favourite things in games is when weapon upgrades change the appearance of the weapon for example bioshock 1&2 I wish more games would do stuff like this

There is its dlc free one from twitch the gore skin and founders skin from website i got them all

I was po'd at Jacob. Switched to the assault rifle and he loaded an empty drum mag I didn't notice until I went to fire. 😂

Personally I believe the Hand Cannon is bye far favored gun, but the skunkgun or the riot shotgun are the only two high dps weapons
for me i feel like i did the most damage with the assault rifle its a 3 burst but it definitely helps clear and get the job done
@@elijahalomar93 True, but truth to be told I never much relied on the AR, mostly because I fight in close quarters.
@@damianramos3538 thats perfectly fine, tbh all though its my fav i mainly used the skunkgun and handcannon those close quarters are too fun when you know what to do.
Skunk is best gun in this game. Do not waste your money upgrading hand cannon. Skunk gun has the 2nd highest damage after riot shotgun and cheapest ammo.

the Calisto Project has my favorate all time video game gun upgrade and making system of all the games, it feel's like it's realistic with that bit if Sci fi to add to it, I love it

How is this gun upgrade with print? Yes but a gun made of steel. WHaT HOW ABOUT CYBERPUNK?
It's pobably based on laser metal sintering. Basically a lot of tiny metal grains in the air being "welded" into a desired shape by a laser, just made more sci-fi.
@@goaldude-0041 probably explains why the weapons are easy to reconfigure and are heavily modular for each type, like the skunk gun to handcannon, or assault rifle with riot gun

I’m a sucker for upgrades that change the appearance. Why was this game bad again? I’m actually asking.
Using the printer was the most annoying thing, especially when buying ammo. There's no way to skip through these animations.
I'm pretty pissed about how lazy the printing animation is. Like, it's the same for every single weapon/tool. The worst is the Health Injector, which is just a weird thing to fit into a mechanical printing process..
Such generic looking weapons. There are much better weapon designs out there.
