I absolutely love your videos. I received a cricut, a pack of card stock and some little embellishments for Christmas 2016. I have set up my craft room on my 3rd floor. My husband has a nice spot also on the 3rd floor, he loves your voice. You have taught me so much. I'm very new at this, but I'm making serious progress, including custom jewelry. Since January 2017, I'm about $10,000 invested in craft stuff. I'm a disabled police officer and this is my therapy.

Thanks for the info on the trimmer. I have the same trimmer and when I took the cutting base around, it cut so much better! That saved me money because I was about to go buy another one. Like you, I have lots of different tools that do the same thing.

Watched replay on UA-cam which was great because I could pause while I was taking notes...8-1/2 yellow legal pad 5x7 sheets!! So much useful info! Thanks so much :). BTW, I was one of those people who did not know there was an envelope maker on the back of my Martha Stewart scoreboard...dah!!! Thanks for this two-hour training info, I will definitely check out your store for some of these favorites. So glad I took these notes! Love your videos and YOU! God bless!

Thank you so much for this list. I was just struggling with my current trimmer and saw this video. I used your coupon code on the cricut website and got the trimmer for $12.74 and free shipping. The cheapest on amazon was $16.57 with prime. I'm so excited to get this trimmer and know that your recommendation is solid! Love your videos - you're so genuine.

I just found you on UA-cam. I love all the info you give. I am new and you make it look so easy and tell the truth! I got this at... and I got this here etc. You don't push all expenceive stuff. I was told not to buy from Walmart because it's not the same. I also didn't know about the scoring, how you can tear the paper. I want to thank you for the time you put into these videos and all the info you share with us. I will be following you from now on. TY so much.

Love to see your favorites Maymay! Got to see a minute or two live but then had to leave so am watching in rewind. Appreciate all the info too. I wanted to also tell you that I saw someone last year use the Darice 5x7 embossing folder binder storage thing...she used it to store her dies on magnet sheets! I thought that was so cool!!! Just thought I would mention in case it might help someone. I think she said she ordered magnet sheets on line somewhere and cut it to fit the pockets and just stored her dies in there. She had a lot of dies and I loved the idea you could just flip through and see your dies! Loved everything! And I LOVE the punch boards too! LOL Thanks for sharing Maymay!

I have the large 12x12 Misti and I LOOVVVVEEEEEEEE it! I went back and forth on whether or not to spend that much, but I requested it as my Christmas, Birthday (12/30) and Anniversary (12/11) gift and that's all I wanted that year. My thinking was because I don't do a lot of on the go crafting where I would necessarily need a mini, and this one would cover everything. And when I do want to take crafting with me, it fits nicely in my big pull bag on wheels for paper that I also got for Christmas that year. It is the same size as my Martha Stewart scoreboard and it holds 12x12 sheets of paper. It is great for using the large background stamps too. I wouldn't be mad if someone gave me one of the two smaller ones, but I can't imagine life without it.

I started watching you when I seen a CTMH mat in one of your videos. Thought you were a fellow consultant till i watched more of your videos. Love them! I have used many of your ideas. Got a hack...a cheap one. The teflon craft mats are $20+ but I bought another non-stick oven liner (which, by the way, I love having in my oven bottom) and it is great! Nothing sticks to or stains it and I got it at Walmart. It is a Range Kleen 16.25x23" liner for $8.88! Roll it up when you aren't using it. Love it!

Hi. I’m a new subbie. Not quite sure how I have missed your channel, but so glad I found you!! Little thought on your idea of being inspired by wall art. My hubby grumbles sometimes cuz I am forever pausing some show that we’re watching to take a photo of something that caught my eye as inspiration. A painting or one that I use probably most often...throw pillows on couches. Great for color schemes I’d never thought of. Well, I’m VERY exited to go back and BINGE on previous videos. I use Scotch Quick Dry glue and I was told that while using it, to upend it (tip down) into a glass with a damp cloth or damp paper towel in the bottom. So I tried that because I was sick of closing it all the time when actually using it and it works very well. The dampness is enough to stop it from drying at all in the tip but its not enough to cause it to leak out.

58Kym I use this Glue also & got a tip from Lori Whitlock to buy a mini plastic applicator bottle & a metal fine tip for it. Warning, after finishing your project remove the plastic screw top with the metal tip & hold it under running water several times, them blow excess water out of the tip a couple of times to remove all glue from the tip. Screw the lid back on your mini bottle, attach tip cover. Bought these from Amazon. Also lost tip cover, so I use a stainless straight pen to cap the bottle. I refill the mini bottle with this glue & use it without it drying out till my project is finished, no problem. I can get glue in really small spaces with this mini bottle & fine metal tip just like Lori.

Thanks so much! I never get to watch ya live, but I enjoy watching the vids anyway. The only thing I would suggest is the adhesive for vellum. If the piece will fit in one of my Xyron machines, it works really well. I have a small create a sticker, and the 500 too. But the sticky covers the whole piece! However, if you don't want to make a sticker out of your vellum piece, them using a piece you can hide, like you said, is the only way. Thanks sweetie!

The 1st bottle (8oz) of Art Glitter Glue I bought, was a solid chunk when it arrived via Amazon. DId not know about the freezing aspect (40 or below). I pulled it out of the bottle, added boiling water put it in my Bullet blender and I use it as a spray-on glue when making collage, kinda like Mod Podge.

Hi, Maymay!! I have a little clue for you, although you probably have already learned this for yourself. The yellow rotary cutter you showed & lamented about having to squeeze & hold the handle to cut your material. Well, I bought one very similar & quite by accident I found that you don’t have to squeeze & hold the handle to use the blade. Just disengage the safety like you do in order to use the blade, then squeeze to use the blade, then reach over with your other hand & re-engage the safety! By re-engaging the safety, it locks the blade in the position to use it...you can then use the cutter without squeezing the handle!! This might help keep your hand from tiring out so much when you’re doing a lot of cutting. 😀. BTW...I’m a fan, girl...being a “grits” (girl raised in the south) myself (LOL!!)!!!

I had the fiskars trimmer, I was so happy when I purchased it because it had card measurements on the front! Great idea that unfortunately was a failure for me too. The wire guide broke quickly, thought I would still use it cuz of the card guide. Well, the printing came off and like yours, I could never keep the blade in. I bought another fiskars trimmer and I had similar issues. So....I followed your advice. I was a little apprehensive because the first green trimmer was very disappointing. The New Cricut trimmer is so awesome! I was able to purchase mine for $6.00 UNBELIEVABLE price! I need new blades, purchased from Joanns but they were replacements for the green trimmer. Bummer! DO YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A NEW BLADE? I really appreciate your honest reviews of products. Thank you Maymay

Well, I have the same white crates that I keep my paper in, in probably the same order, altho my scraps are in a separate container.

on the question about Android and Cricut design space they do have a beta version out. it seems to work well in a limited capacity. It does not allow anything that has been welded, sliced, or any other modifications similar. it works only with whole images or make it now products and has a very limited selection of fonts.
