    Now I understood about his disabilities. However, it is great that he is playing at the top level, rather than relegated to the levels of the Paralympics. Great admiration to his determination!

    Most talented TT player of all time. Mate it's mental what he is doing and with the hand switches often during rallies. Love watching this guy.

    His abilities are far greater than you mentioned. He serves with the forehand and whenever he does play his forehand, he switches to his other hand. And he does it routinely. That’s incredible. I’ve seen some players switch hand’s occasionally (Timo Boll), but not routinely. Much respect to his abilities!

      He _can_ play a ripping (left-handed) forehand smash, but rarely 4:14 . It's usually chop-blocks and drops

    Incredible player...beating top players with his approach. How can someone train to play like him?
    I try to bring more of my backhand into play which is sometimes forceful. In some way we all are biased towards playing more backhand or forehand.

    actually if you watch his early career games he used to play forehand too so it would make sense if something happend too, but i really wonder what kind of damage would make you stop playing forehand ?

    Oh, he's got a forehand alright! We just watched him use it to return a chop towards the end of the video (his dominant hand). He just chooses not to use it very often.

    I just saw him kill the ball with his left forehand in this video at 4:14. I think it's really a style of play he is accustomed to.

    To be ambidextrous at that level I certainly would not call that a neurological "problem". It seems to me to be an advantage. Whatever the case I have to say he's one of the most entertaining players i've ever watched.

    He actually plays both forehand and backhand using his right hand and also backhand with his left hand. So actually he has one extra ability compared to others, not less. Also at 4:14 he does a proper forehand attack with his left hand. So wondering where is the disability?

      If you see he sorta change the grip when he attacks with he's left hand, probably meaning that he has some kind of impediment in doing a typical FH topspin

    How do you say that he is suffering from a disorder? Do you have any proof for your statement? I mean has he ever said it in his interviews?

      Just read about it, and yes he had been suffering from a disorder since 5 years ago till now and that's why he is unable to play his forehand as he does with his backhand.

    But he did use the forehand topspin one time, so how do you explain that and his forehand serves?

      Yeah he used forehand topspin twice with his right hand 😂 and once with the left. It's not physical damage, so the muscles are working, but something neurological with the movement required for forehand topspin. I think it's just extremely difficult to do for him.

      If you notice he changes his grip when he makes forehand topspin to something like a pinhold. Not sure what his disorder is.

      yes, at 4:10 he smacks a fH loop. clearly a BH player but also clearly can smack FH's no problem

      Must be a psychological problem, not a neurological one? Like the yips in golf? Lots of sports have players that can get problems with some shots, that they have to somehow overcome, or they're no longer competitive.

      We're a lot to have interrogations about his play style. He actually had no problem at all with his forehand as a Junior, or in 2013 during world championships for example. So something clearly happened and he was able to adapt in such a beautiful and efficient way !

      It isn't like he can't use his forehand side at all. That would mean he couldnt do any backhand also. He just can't do a proper consistent forehand topspin move.

      But you've to train ur non-dominant hand for both forehand and backhand like he does... so it's double the work :D

    While it's a cool story, it is not true that he cannot use his forehand. There are plenty of videos of him using his forehand, although not as much as the backhand.

    He doesn't suffer from any disorder. This is his playing style. He is able to perform forhand topspins. It's just not as good as his backhand.

      Watch him before 2016 and you'll understand that he used the forehand normally, now he rarely uses it, and when he uses it it's not in a correct way, you can see that now he has difficulties to execute forehand differently than before, it's some neurological problem.

    به عنوان یکی ازدوستداران رشته تنیس روی میز باید عرض کنم ازاینکه می بینم که نوشاد درمسابقات بین المللی با حریفان خودفقط ازبک هند خوداستفاده میکند وازضربات کوبنده فورهند کاملا بی نصیب است وحریفان قدر بین المللی اوهم ازاین ضعف بزرگ استفاده کرده واورا شکست میدهند خیلی ناراحت می شوم.لذا به مربیان این بازیکن توصیه میکنم که با تمرینات اختصاصی برای ضربات فورهند این بازیکن اورایاری کنندتا مشاهده گر پیروزیها وافتخارات این بازیکن درمسابقات بین الملی باشیم.باتشکر.

    NOT AT ALL. THAT WAS JUST A COVERUP . HE JUST DEVELOPED HIS PLAYSTYLE LIKE THAT. RIGHT FROM HIS CAREER HIS FOREHAND WAS WEAK AS EVER. I WATCH HIM WHEN HE WAS PLAYING FOR JUNIOR. SAME PLAY STYLE.

      That's a complete bs what you say. Like if you think you're the only one who saw him playing in the past. He's been a backhand dominant player in the past but his forehand was definitely not weak

      Plus his backhand style was different back then, that's for sure, he would rarely hit the ball aggressively off the bounce which is the foundation of his game nowadays.

    Is there a source for his so called " neurological disorder"? I didn't find any reliable source about it. you cannot just create a story like that. btw, he always touches his shoes when serving or receiving serves and I believe that is really a very "unique" and annnoying behavior to his opponents.

    I definitely don't care about that. I just hate that he kept on puling his smelly shoes before playing. Is he run out of money, to buy a better shoes? Someone might said its pre-preparation moves, for me just pure unhygienic move.
