This is the most awesome rendition I have ever heard. What a perfect and wonderful concert from Yuliana Avdeeva and the orchestra. Dynamic, strength ,sensitivity and musical empathy and this breathtaking touch. Yuliana Avdeeva is an utterly and singular unique pianist. I admit, I was stunned by the power with which she performed this. The Brahms 1st demands incredible strength, passion and discipline and she brought it home. Brava, Yulianna!
Agreed! In comparison to Zimerman’s legendary performance alongside Bernstein, this is certainly not inferior to say the least
@@anosmianAcrimony I agree with you completely. This recording is as good as the previously unique and legendary recording of Zimmerman and Bernstein in the mid 80´s and I hope she will play also the second. Absolutely memorable.
This masterpiece by Brahms requires the strength and power of a percussionist and at the same time the sensitivity and emotional inner spirit of a poet. Yulianna, the orchestra and the conductor nail it here in this amazing performance.

I really hope to see her perform one day. Love the way she performs magnificently and doesn't seem to feel the need to be a glamour-puss in some kind of evening gown. This Brahms 1 is gorgeous.

貴女のピアニストとして、楽譜を見て指が動くとかそんなことでなく、この難曲を貴女なりに理解できない場合は、弾けないんじゃかって思ってしまう。理解できない曲を指にまかせて、指を転がせるなんて出来ないかただと貴女のピアノを聴いて思います。構造的にかっちりと自分の論理ってものを組み立てられている。自信を持ってられるから、指に貴女のユリアンナという貴女の刻印を感じられます。
分裂型としたら躁鬱型と違う切り口のブラームスピアノ協奏曲1番ですね!
分裂型はピアノのタッチが躁鬱がたに比べピアノのタッチが大きく貴女独特のピアノへの刻印が聴こえてきます。
