I live in Atlantic Canada, and I look forward to watching you every Saturday morning. Your flosstube is always waiting for me when I sit down with my coffee and stitching to start my day. Love all your stitching, your stories, and your information sessions 😊
Another great video, throughly look forward to seeing you. Love your new learning section. Were never too old to learn new things. I really enjoy learning Happy stitching 😊❤
Not only is it the weekly meeting but also the weekly Flosstube fix. Have a wonderful week and I hope we get next weeks fix with all of your Harrogate gifts. Happy Stitching 🌸💞🌸
Our weekly meeting is my habit! Love everything about your leadership.😊 Very interested in the plantation needlework issue. Christmas Rules is fab as is the snowflakes without the words. I found the Christmas bell and thought I would also stitch it! I will be following. Enjoy Harrogate. See you whenever next time is.❤
@justsewsherrie I promise. Right now I can't stitch. Popped my back Nov. 6th. Sciatica, can't raise arms to stitch. It will be my target when I can. Keep in touch with your progress, please.
I left off the Glad Tidings on my Quaker Snowflakes. I’m also doing the Tiny Modernist Gingerbread House. I think you are supposed to put 3” between all the sides of the house.
Lovely stitches! Your just so Sherrie stories are hilarious. Quaker Snowflakes is my Snowday Stitch but since we no longer get rain or snow in New Jersey, I may have to rethink that schedule 😂 I was thinking to leave off the glad tidings or chart something else. I’m glad you found your metal doodad😂😂😂
November looks great 😊My kids and I see blue and green differently. We had a car that I thought was green and they both swore was blue. We argued about it for all the years we had that car! Enjoy Harrogate. Can’t wait to see your purchases.
Thanks for sharing your great projects. By the time I got to November quaker I was also really struggling. But, December is a nice one to stitch. Enjoy harrowgate.
Lovely seeing you as always. I think the November Quaker colours are fine. You are galloping along with your stitching and getting FO’s done. Enjoy you self at Harrogate next week.
Hi Sherrie, great to see you, I love you calling it Our weekly meeting. I love your ‘ramblings’ please don’t cut then down or out. It’s getting to know you. Have a fabulous time at Harrogate. I did a fabric box course years ago, I still have it and love it, never made another though. Take care lovely 😻
*tap tap* is this on? 😂 I laughed so much I gave myself a coughing fit when you forgot to press the record button!. As ever, lovely stitching and the Santa and animals is so gorgeous ....slow down stitching so I can see it every week 😊
Interesting you talked about colour. First thing that came to mind when I started watching ( what i call my coffee catchup with a mate) was how the colour of your shirt really accentuated your eyes. Need more in that shade! Plans? 😂😂😂😂 I call them hopes, dreams and failure. Boobs deep 😂. Not a phase I've heard before but suits the Australian sense of humour........I'll have to steal it. Have fun on your solo retreat with thousands of other people.
I'm so thankful you found the doodad still attached! I'm going to Harrogate for Thursday. Not sure if I'll manage the whole day (Physio exercises not helping pain levels and having an MRI on Saturday so I can lie there with memories of Harrogate 1:04:20 ) but I'm so looking forward to being surrounded by inspiring people and beautiful pieces of work made by talented people. Not sure if I see you I'll dare say hello but I promise not to attach myself to you!!😂 I'd not put the Glad Tidings on the Quaker piece either then it can be on show for a longer winter period. Safe driving and enjoy Harrogate.
Oh I hope you do say hello Jean! It’s really lovely to put faces to names ☺️ and I hope you get some answers from your investigations, it’s heavy going at Harrogate when you have physical limitations 😞
Hi Sherrie! Wow! I came for the laughs but I’m being treated to some education as well! Your final thought is a good one if someone is feeling down. This past week, three of my sisters/sisters-in-law have all lost someone close to them. I’m going to pass the final thought along and hopefully it will help to bring them some comfort. I enjoyed the color theory lesson as well. I’ve always wondered if what I call sky blue is really the same as what you call sky blue. It’s interesting to find out that it might not be! Regarding your November Quaker, I think the colors are autumnal, so I think you’ve nailed that. Love the Cottage Garden Samplings Santa and friends and also the Liz Matthews Quaker piece (looks amazing on that fabric!). I hope you enjoyed Harrogate and found some fun gifts for yourself!
Hi Sherrie! Loved your story about colour, and it backs up exactly what we’ve found! My husband is 15 years younger than me, and we have always disagreed about the colour of a backpack we both use! ( it’s not the only thing we ever disagree about, just wanted to add! 🤦♀️😂) He sees it as light blue - to me it’s a sage green! There you go - totally backs up what you were saying! 👍😃 My idea for another “deep dive” would be where linen comes from, how it is made - I have a rough idea but I’d like to know a bit more, if you think that might be an interesting topic 🧐🙂
I’m with you…if I have a good length of floss on my needle when I finish a motif, I will find another spot to use it up. Also will not start a fresh thread to stitch a few stitches if I know there are more coming soon. Although, I do admire those that will page complete 😌
I wonder if the robins migrate across the ocean? For me (in Saskatchewan, Canada) we say that spring arrives with the robins... they are only here in the spring and summer but they go SOMEWHERE when the cold starts happening... since 90% of my ancestors came here from the UK it must have been SO confusing to have the birds going in the opposite direction!
I did not put Glad Tidings on the Quaker Snowflake... I've never said that phrase, so I had no thought to put it on. I love your fabric choice for that as well!
Yes it is interesting about colors and what people see. My father and my son are color blind. I understand that color blindness is mostly common in men but women are the carriers (if that's the correct word). My son says I stole his color cones. LOL I look forward to your videos each week. I am a long time subscriber but I am poor at commenting.
Hi Sherrie. I start my Saturday’s with your videos. Makes my day start on a good note. Very Important!! You didn’t put the space between the front and the side on the Tiny Modern Gingerbread House. Look at page 2 of the finishing instructions. There is a picture showing the 4 sides with the necessary spacing. I have the front and 1 side finished
I laughed when you decided to use the word "sledging" in your stitiching (can't remember the chart's name), I am in northern Australia so there is no sledding here either but sledging a national passtime in that we pull the p*ss out of our friends. Maybe I need to do a summer stitch where our cricketers sledging the other team is a feature. :D
I just love your videos. Always a good time. I am going to have to look at my pattern again for the Gingerbread house (Jingle Ball Piece) I thought we needed to leave space in between each piece to finish each side then assemble?!?!?!
I love spending Saturday mornings with you. As for your metal doodad, I have one and did the same thing. Except mine was under my thumb. 😂. As for Christmas Rules, are your snowmen suppose to have faces, or not? Just asking. Have a great week. ❤
Isn’t a show board just some thick card with some quilting wadding on it? If it is I’ll post you some wadding! I don’t do one colour at a time either. I’d rather use the thread up but counting can be a challenge! 🫣 If you’re not doing the alphabet are you going to put in a snowflake or two maybe?
I hope you have a lovely peaceful week and may all your stitches land true 🩵
Aw thank you ☺️
I think your November color choices for your Quaker stitch are lovely.
Thanks Paula ☺️
That bell is really pretty. Have a brilliant stitchy week 😊 Try not to get too carried away with the gifts 🪡
I’m really going to try Susan ☺️
I live in Atlantic Canada, and I look forward to watching you every Saturday morning. Your flosstube is always waiting for me when I sit down with my coffee and stitching to start my day.
Love all your stitching, your stories, and your information sessions 😊
Thanks so much Theresa ☺️
Another great video, throughly look forward to seeing you. Love your new learning section. Were never too old to learn new things. I really enjoy learning
Happy stitching 😊❤
Thanks Elizabeth. Hopefully I can retain what I’ve learned, that’ll be the main problem 🤣
@justsewsherrie I blame my menopause when I can't remember 😂
Enjoyed our weekly meeting, brightens up my journey to and from work 😊 Have fun at Harrogate.
Ah thanks Sarah ☺️
Not only is it the weekly meeting but also the weekly Flosstube fix. Have a wonderful week and I hope we get next weeks fix with all of your Harrogate gifts. Happy Stitching 🌸💞🌸
Aw Suzie that’s dead kind of you ☺️
Sherrie there are just so many lol moments in your video that I don’t think I should watch them whilst my husband is watching tv 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes I should probably come with a government health warning 🤣
Thanks for the weekly meeting it was fab!!! Hope you have a lot of fun at Harrogate, cant wait to hear you Just Sew Sherrie!!!!😅
Thanks Lisa ☺️
Another lovely Sunday morning spent with my friend! Only 5 more sleeps till we see each other. !! 🤗🤗
I’m soo bloody excited. This is my Christmas 🤶🏼 🎄🥳
Happy Saturday
Thanks Maggie ☺️
Our weekly meeting is my habit! Love everything about your leadership.😊 Very interested in the plantation needlework issue. Christmas Rules is fab as is the snowflakes without the words. I found the Christmas bell and thought I would also stitch it! I will be following. Enjoy Harrogate. See you whenever next time is.❤
Ooh please tag me if you put it on IG or send me a photo ☺️
@justsewsherrie I promise. Right now I can't stitch. Popped my back Nov. 6th. Sciatica, can't raise arms to stitch. It will be my target when I can. Keep in touch with your progress, please.
I left off the Glad Tidings on my Quaker Snowflakes. I’m also doing the Tiny Modernist Gingerbread House. I think you are supposed to put 3” between all the sides of the house.
Thank you for sharing your projects and future plans, So sorry that you had technical trouble 🎥
I’m such a dafty at times ☺️
Lovely stitches! Your just so Sherrie stories are hilarious. Quaker Snowflakes is my Snowday Stitch but since we no longer get rain or snow in New Jersey, I may have to rethink that schedule 😂 I was thinking to leave off the glad tidings or chart something else. I’m glad you found your metal doodad😂😂😂
One day we’ll sit around a campfire and swap tales Chris 😍
@ That sounds perfect!
Tea dye the autumn piece to tone down the yellow
I don’t think it’s as bad as what it looks on screen Maggie. It’s a good shout about tea dyeing though 🤔
November looks great 😊My kids and I see blue and green differently. We had a car that I thought was green and they both swore was blue. We argued about it for all the years we had that car! Enjoy Harrogate. Can’t wait to see your purchases.
It’s fascinating I think about the blues and greens 🤔
Your November is beautiful. Don't be so hard on yourself. It will come alive when framed. x
Aw thanks Justine ☺️
Thanks for sharing your great projects. By the time I got to November quaker I was also really struggling. But, December is a nice one to stitch. Enjoy harrowgate.
Aw I’m pleased December gets better 🤣
Lovely seeing you as always. I think the November Quaker colours are fine. You are galloping along with your stitching and getting FO’s done. Enjoy you self at Harrogate next week.
Thanks Susan ☺️
Love your new section, the colour blue causes chaos in our house my husband swears that navy blue is black. Hope to see you at Harrogate xx
I didn’t know you were going to Harrogate, will definitely have to meet up ☺️
Hi Sherrie, Email sent.i love watching and never miss a video, I’m so excited about the gorgeous cat bag, thank you so much .
Ah you’re very welcome Gail ☺️
Lovely as always x
Thanks Ali ☺️
I'm doing the Stacy Nash class also. My fabric is suppose to be here on Tuesday. Love all your stitching as usual. 😊
Oh that’s fab Rhonda. Hopefully will see you at a stitching table 😍
Ah thanks Wendy. Hope you’re well ☺️
*tap tap* is this on? 😂
I laughed so much I gave myself a coughing fit when you forgot to press the record button!.
As ever, lovely stitching and the Santa and animals is so gorgeous ....slow down stitching so I can see it every week 😊
It was always gonna happen one day I guess 🙄🤣🤣
Looking forward to seeing you on Friday! xxx
I’m getting really excited now 🥳🥳🥳
Interesting you talked about colour. First thing that came to mind when I started watching ( what i call my coffee catchup with a mate) was how the colour of your shirt really accentuated your eyes. Need more in that shade!

Hopes, dreams and failures…boom! That’s brilliant Lisa 🤣 and I just made up ‘boobs deep’ 🙈☺️
Christmas rules is going to be gorgeous.
Isn’t she a beauty 😍
I'm so thankful you found the doodad still attached! I'm going to Harrogate for Thursday. Thanks Jackie, so pleased you enjoyed it. Harrogate was fab but costly as you’ll see on my next FT 💰🙈🤣

Oh that’s fascinating and yes I’ll definitely do some digging on linen, that’s a great idea ☺️
🌞🌞🌞

I absolutely agree Connie. I sometimes wish I’m the other way, do all the motif/page regardless but it seems such a waste of thread and time 🙈
I wonder if the robins migrate across the ocean? For me (in Saskatchewan, Canada) we say that spring arrives with the robins... they are only here in the spring and summer but they go SOMEWHERE when the cold starts happening... since 90% of my ancestors came here from the UK it must have been SO confusing to have the birds going in the opposite direction!
Oh wow that’s so interesting. I wonder if it is the same ones 🤔
Ros Clark Craft did a series of videos on colour theory over on her channel, and she made a pattern too! The "Celebration of Colour SAL" xx
Oooh of course she did. Thanks for the reminder Zoe ☺️
I did not put Glad Tidings on the Quaker Snowflake... I've never said that phrase, so I had no thought to put it on. I love your fabric choice for that as well!
I agree wholeheartedly about the phrase and thank you. I’m pleased it’s turning out the way I’d hoped…..for once 🤪
Yes it is interesting about colors and what people see. My father and my son are color blind. I understand that color blindness is mostly common in men but women are the carriers (if that's the correct word). My son says I stole his color cones. LOL I look forward to your videos each week. Oh wow I didn’t know that. How interesting ☺️

Oh nooo 🫣 I’ll check it out lorie. Thank you ☺️
Hope you are well and okay Sherrie? Hoping you're at a retreat. Take care 🤗
Thank you ☺️
I laughed when you decided to use the word "sledging" in your stitiching (can't remember the chart's name), I am in northern Australia so there is no sledding here either but sledging a national passtime in that we pull the p*ss out of our friends. Maybe I need to do a summer stitch where our cricketers sledging the other team is a feature. :D
Oh wow, isn’t it funny how we all have the same language but different 🤔
I just love your videos. Always a good time.
I am going to have to look at my pattern again for the Gingerbread house (Jingle Ball Piece) I thought we needed to leave
space in between each piece to finish each side then assemble?!?!?!
Noo it’s me that got it wrong. I had to go frogging 😫
@ Oh No! It didn’t look like you had a lot to frog. Hopefully you can quickly restitch it
I love spending Saturday mornings with you. As for your metal doodad, I have one and did the same thing. Except mine was under my thumb. 😂.
As for Christmas Rules, are your snowmen suppose to have faces, or not? Just asking.
Have a great week. ❤
Pleased I’m not the only one who loses doodads 🤣🤣
Where you to Sherrie missing your floss tubes x
Isn’t a show board just some thick card with some quilting wadding on it? If it is I’ll post you some wadding! I don’t do one colour at a time either. I’d rather use the thread up but counting can be a challenge! 🫣 If you’re not doing the alphabet are you going to put in a snowflake or two maybe?
Yes I’ll fill the space with some more of the motifs and that’s so kind of you but I’ll find something I’m sure ☺️
