Don't get me wrong, I love modern cars (I have an LR3) but there's something refreshing about the purity of old-school. No plastic, no gadgets, just function! This Jeep, for me is a perfect restoration. Cheers, Tony
Oh no! A nice old jeep in the mud...but that's what they're made for. Beautiful jeep. Thanks for the video. PS I should be getting mine later this week.
Great restoration Job. I'm actually following some of your suggestions as I'm undergoing through a similar task...restoring my grandpa Willys 1952 CJ3A sitted down for more then 25 years. He's 88 years old and has a lot of energy and enthusiasm to bring it back to life. Our biggest challenge lies on the lack of replacing parts supply here in Angola...South Western Africa....It's part of the journey and hopefully we will get it done. Once again great accomplishment and thanks for sharing your experience...contributing to my first Willys restoration project. All the best!!
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 Sure no problem...Iater on i'm considering posting some videos as well ....Send me your email and can share some photos.
congratulations! Love your not so "mild" restoration! I'd rather have a few dents in it but I'm not afraid to drive it than having trophy queen which has to stay home when there is a drop of rain in the forecast for the neighbor town.
Excellent ride bro. I have a jeep about like yours but mine's still in a basket. (why I'm watching...) Plus it's easier to watch you than work on mine...
Nice job guys! IS that paint rustoleum hunter green? I did my old 1971 W200 Dodge i get more comments on the paint haha everyone is shocked that its rolled on. Got about 800 bucks into the whole project but I really want another old CJ
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 Nice I liked that color so much I painted my 89 F250 but had to get another quart (lol), that paint is amazingly durable out of all the colors ive used.
It always does, but this Jeep was built to have fun with. I did a nut and bolt restoration on a chassis several years ago it was so Perfect I sold it before it was finished. I even painted all the casting numbers and axle tag lettering. It was just to nice.
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 Totally understand. My cj2a aka "crapgame" will remain in an semi finished state. We made the fall color tour last year. Its worth going if you can make it.
Can I just know is this original on my Willys Jeep because the grill and the tailgate looks very different than the US models this jeep was imported from the US to India and I just want to know since The grill as written Jeep rather than Willys so is this original and the tailgate open in a different way it does not fold it opens to the right side is this normal is a right hand drive converted is this normal in the import version that just want to know thank you
Great video. Enjoyed every minute. Nothing like carbureted momentum and the sound of that exhaust pipe. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching

Quedó muy hermoso tu Jeep Willys, denota que hiciste un excelente trabajo, felicitaciones.
I've been waiting for these moment. Thanks..
Rusher Jagoi - Thanks, I’m so glad it’s running around. A few more little things and it’s ready for adventure.
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 yes absolutely... It is running smooth.
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 what gear are u running on the differential, acceleration seems pretty quick.
Rusher Jagoi -everything is stock as far as I know, but it does seem quicker then my last Jeep.
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 yes i notice that.. It was a bit faster, I run 5.38 and they won't even move.. 🤣 🤣 Even with my foot on the floor..
Like a kid, finding EVERY mudhole and having to jump into it!
It’s so hard not to…lol

It started as Hunter green but I added some other colors. Not because I wanted to but I needed to stretch it a little
