Great video. Enjoyed every minute. Nothing like carbureted momentum and the sound of that exhaust pipe. Thanks for sharing!

Don't get me wrong, I love modern cars (I have an LR3) but there's something refreshing about the purity of old-school. No plastic, no gadgets, just function! This Jeep, for me is a perfect restoration. Cheers, Tony

Oh no! A nice old jeep in the mud...but that's what they're made for. Beautiful jeep. Thanks for the video.
PS I should be getting mine later this week.

Great restoration Job. I'm actually following some of your suggestions as I'm undergoing through a similar task...restoring my grandpa Willys 1952 CJ3A sitted down for more then 25 years. He's 88 years old and has a lot of energy and enthusiasm to bring it back to life. Our biggest challenge lies on the lack of replacing parts supply here in Angola...South Western Africa....It's part of the journey and hopefully we will get it done. Once again great accomplishment and thanks for sharing your experience...contributing to my first Willys restoration project. All the best!!

congratulations! Love your not so "mild" restoration! I'd rather have a few dents in it but I'm not afraid to drive it than having trophy queen which has to stay home when there is a drop of rain in the forecast for the neighbor town.

Nice job guys! IS that paint rustoleum hunter green? I did my old 1971 W200 Dodge i get more comments on the paint haha everyone is shocked that its rolled on. Got about 800 bucks into the whole project but I really want another old CJ

It started as Hunter green but I added some other colors. Not because I wanted to but I needed to stretch it a little

It always does, but this Jeep was built to have fun with. I did a nut and bolt restoration on a chassis several years ago it was so Perfect I sold it before it was finished. I even painted all the casting numbers and axle tag lettering. It was just to nice.
