- Limited Life is an odd mix of a Social and PvP Minecraft game started by Grian. Players are thrown into a tiny world with almost no rules, except survive as long as possible.
Green = 16+ Hours
Yellow = 8+ Hours
Red = 0+ Hours
Death = Lose 1 Hour
Kill = Gain 30 Minutes
Boogeyman Death/Kill = Rates Double
Red Players are given the goal of killing all the other players in the game. Yellow players can kill all green player. Each episode Boogeymen are chosen in secret and randomly to kill another player.

Yes, specifically in PvP, although I don't actually believe he's washed up in any capacity. It's just a humorous moment from that episode that is fun to poke at him with like the "Bdubs is short" joke. If it turns out that Etho doesn't like the joke and doesn't find it funny, I will definitely take it down, cause it's only funny as long as Etho finds it funny.

Was his audio not working or was his "audio not working". I thought maybe he didn't post an episode because he was upset about how badly he was beaten up last session, but you can never rule out the possibility of Windows just screwing up.
Etho just straight up coming out and saying he was is the boogeyman was great. You could hear the happiness in his voice that he was finally chosen.

Although Etho's PvP skills may have not be as damaging as he'd hoped, he's definitely gotten some venomous one-liners out, like "You're adopted Scar", and "I just wish you were better at this game."
He really does learn from his wife... or er, ex-wife.
The Skizz line has me rolling every time I see it. Definitely harsh, but I know it's taken in good humor especially since Skizz replied "me too" on his video.
Etho and Bdubs love and respect for one another is the best and most wholesome thing on the server! Love those two!

Intro in the season 7 base is so nostalgic! That base was truly one of the best.
The boogie kill on Solidaritygaming was meant to get him out of the series. Jimmy was on 1:07:18 and Etho's kill should of taken 2 hours, but instead taken 1. If it wasn't for the fact Jimmy died, they would have realised they needed to take another hour from him meaning technically Etho would be responsible for Solidarity getting out of the series. That's crazy. Amazing session.

Etho, I'm seeing two ways you can avoid getting killed as often as you have been.
1. Positioning/Movement: I'm seeing in fights you are putting yourself in positions where you open yourself up to potential fall damage. Often times, you are backing away from your attacker, down cliffs, towards water. This is bad because you are constantly taking fall damage alongside any damage from your attacker, and then you slow yourself down in the water. Making you an open target to bows, or an easy immobile target right as you enter the water because the attacker would be able to get another 2-3 hits on you with a sword before you could swim off.
2. The Axe: The axe can be a lethal weapon if used correctly, and you my friend, could benefit from a tuned strategy. It's supposed to be a slow heavy hitter. Best paired with a shield in your offhand to give you time for your attacker to get back in range so you can open up with the axe again. I've noticed, at the rate you swing the axe, you aren't getting its full damage, I would argue that a sword would be better at the rate you swing, and it would be better paired with the crossbows, since there isn't as much of a wait when switching from crossbow to sword.
Hopefully you see this because, like many people here, I want to see you go as far as possible. Taking just a few moments to analyze your combat, pre-game and in-combat could go a long way. Can't wait for next episode!
Yeah a few of his deaths this episode could likely have been prevented if he kept his shield in his offhand more often and used it in combat as well. Since he kept holding crossbows in his offhand for the most part even when he ran out of rockets.

Just admit it - Etho is washed up, there’s no sugarcoating it. I’m having a mental breakdown because my world is being destroyed right before my eyes.
I feel like Etho is always playing too nice.
Every time he has a chance to kill someone he doesn't do it cause he feels bad for attacking them when they're weak. Meanwhile Etho almost died while accidently jumping down and already barely had time left but scar didn't hesitate a single second to team up and kill him even though Etho just wanted to talk

Pearl was probably the smartest person this episode not getting wrapped up in bloodletting skirmishes
Feels bad, Etho kept getting so close to a kill and then some one not involved would bully him Into death by ping ponging him back and forth . mr. slab really needs to try and use more tactical advantages because every time he died he was getting pushed off a hill or down into a hole while out numbered. The double murder on Skizz at the end, both by axe and by words. Tho Etho has also unfortunately been having lots of trouble in pvp this season, he's not as scary as in the Mindcrack UHCs. I think he's not necessarily washed up, I think he's just holding back by using weird unoptimal strats like the crossbows he keeps missing or hitting himself with during combat, not using the bow like he used to, spamming axe and losing dps vs just using a sword, and in general not wanting to go all aggressive on the opponnent in the Hermitcraft series. He also backs off after a few hits instead of going all in for a chance to actually get the kill. And he just dies while fleeing. But honestly who cares, I'd like to see him win one of these but the most important thing is that he has fun and we get a bunch of entertainment from the fails and gags. We love you Etho! (Been watching for 11 years now oh my god)
also a fan of Etho and I am only watching his series. but let's face it, he IS washed. he panics, presses all kinds of buttons if he gets attacked. switches his axe with his pickaxe because he fat fingered the f key. spams the left click. constantly backing up, taking fall damage and still trying to shoot people 2 blocks away from him. that's pretty washed up if u tell me. but I am still a fan of Etho and will always be, but it is so painful to watch him pvp.

I want to see Etho go on an epic training montage to get his PVP skills back up to snuff. I still remember the days back when Etho truly was a beast to be feared, even all the way up through HermitQuest. While this series is certainly not in the bag for Etho, he has the tactical thinking down.

Damn, scar is DANGEROUS this season, who knew little old scar could slay lol, I think one of ethos bad habits is once he gets low he runs, it's smart but if you got someone on your tail it's almost certain death, someone like scar doesn't care or pays attention to his health and keeps advance on the charge and he gets the kill

So at thestart of the series some people thought the timer would cheapen deaths and, sure in the beginning deaths meant a lit less. But now the timer makes it brutal. The suspense is so high watching this, fantastic series
I still believe in Ties and Etho having a comeback for the endgame!
3 main themes Im seeing exclusively in this series, 1) Death happens all the time and most of them are influenced by gravity or minecarts. 2) EP6 was not the day to be recording😅 (Pearl, Cleo, and Etho all had some issue, and that's only what visible to us) And 3) Hunt Scott down. He's always had more time than most of the other players from common knowledge.
Please Etho, next episode use a shield in your offhand instead of your crossbow. You can have 3 crossbows in your hot bar, but after that go into melee pvp with your shield because that will clearly benefit you more. Otherwise you’re going to lose to Scar. Best of luck👍

I love how someone decided to make a sky bridge for dropping TNT minecarts, and the entire server's response was to keep building higher and higher sky bridges for retaliatory TNT minecart dropping.
Poor Etho but now after seeing the Gem video it is easy to see why there is the PVP struggles but he almost has it

@@LegendOfTheRee Just watch episode 6 and 7. He panics, hard. He got Gem down to 1 heart when he had 3 in episode 6 and then started fleeing instead of finishing it. Episode 7 hes swinging a pickaxe like its a sword and takes 5 hearts of fall damage trying to escape Scar before ending up in the water and getting picked off like a sitting duck.
I don't think I can get over those last words before executing skizz, it broke me 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Etho, here's the thing with using the axe as a primary option. The diamond / netherite axe is the absolute top tier option in PvP, but that is assuming you balance it out with a shield. As you've noticed from using firework rockets and arrows and even your axe hits on some players, the shield can remove a huge amount of potential damage. Having your shield timing done right, while also being good at striking with the axe, is extremely potent.
If you do want to continue to use firework rockets with the axe, I recommend having your crossbows preloaded, and not anticipating having to use them after the initial shots or until you can retreat to reload them properly. After you fire, having a shield and the axe makes for an excellent follow-up of high damage and shield breaking, without you losing out on your own defense. Taking no damage is better than tanking damage right?
Also, once you do use up your crossbows, either throw them, or put them elsewhere in your inventory. If you get into a situation where range becomes part of the equation, the bow is going to be far more useful, especially for your case since you are already very good at aiming the bow shots anyway. The bow gives faster follow-up shots, and generally higher damage per second than the crossbow, at the loss of the crossbow's instant damage availability and fireworks/tipped arrows.
In a 1v1 with axe against sword with no shield, the sword will win 70/30 against the axe with trained users on both sides. The faster followups with no ability to protect against the consistent damage and knockback is brutal, and more reminiscent of the older-style Minecraft combat that you may still be used to.

You definitely should get the time for that kill on scar that the wolf stole. You were engaged in combat with him. I mean for goodness sakes earlier pearl hit Martyn once with a single arrow then Martyn accidentally blew himself up and they still gave the time to pearl for being engaged in combat with him. At the start of next episode tell them to give you the thirty minutes for it ❤

@@LaMadriguera same with Martyn's kill on Joel, Tango was the last to hit Joel, and he died while escaping him, but he died from fall damage after landing on the glass Martyn had placed on the mansion where there had previously been water. If Joel had just missed the water and hit a block, even if it had been placed by a player as part of a structure, Tango would have got the kill, but the glass had been placed as a deliberate offensive/trap action by Martyn. The wolf was a part of Bdubs arsenal, so technically the kill would have gone to him, even though Bdubs wasn't trying to kill Scar.

I love how this series has turned into Etho choosing between work and family. TIES is work (I mean come on, its just so perfect of a name for a workplace!) and the clockers are obviously the family. Its such a hilarious dynamic to watch play out.
People have also called TIES his drinking buddies, which also fits well

I've never been a big fan of Scott, but these series have really shown how smart and how much of a gamer he is. I've got mad respect for him.
Yeah, Scott and Joel are actually holding back A LOT i have seen what they can do in MCC but since it's just friends here they probably don't want to overdo it.

If there were more time, I'd watch the hell out of a spin off of Etho doing a Rocky type training series with the worlds best PVPers taking turns to train him. With the pay off being Scar still beating him at the end.

Next to none of that is true, though. Jitter is a common stress/adrenalin reaction (stemming from degraded fine motor control), and a mousepad will not prevent it (speaking from experience).

I think this is the first life series episode i've seen where I can actually see the heartrate going. The amount of shaky camera, panic accidental movements, and keys being fat-fingered is very noticeable. Would love to see a heartrate monitor for a life series episode at some point.

I was actually so excited to see Etho’s POV on Ep. 6 😭 CURSE YOU AUDIO!!! But I did watch a lot of other peoples POV’s and got a good jist of what would’ve happened and- can we just laugh at the fact that this is the second season where Etho killed Scar with a fishing Rod 😂 animators are DEFINITELY going to keep that in mind for their insane animations

Etho, you’ve GOT to use a SWORD instead of an axe. You’ve actually done decently in all aspects of this game except face to face melee combat. Unless you’re going to spend a bunch of time practicing your aim and crits, so you don’t keep missing them, the sword is going to work out MUCH better for you. There’s a reason everyone else on the server who has been doing decently has been using a sword.
Edit: But if you enjoy experimenting most, that’s cool too. Just giving a recommendation. Maybe in the next life series your aim will have improved some more, so the axe can work out eventually
Yeah I really don't think now is the time to be experimenting with axes and crossbows lol, he keeps saying he's trying something new while both being bad at pvp and being in the midst of the most intense pvp series they've ever done

In any case, experimenting is what he seems to enjoy the most in all series, so it's nice to see him keeping that even in such crazy conditions.
Even if he doesn't have the aim or crits, an axe does overall do more damage than a sword so I can see why he'd pick it. I'd certainly go for an axe too
@@zankor288 Axes are mostly a bad idea after the first hit of the battle. Disabling the shield is huge and they do big damage, but the penalty for missing is just too high. Swords are the consistent play.
