- In this video we will look at top 10 rarest creatures in Terraria: Journey's End and I will show you how to find them and how to increase their spawn rate. This video includes rarest drops, rarest critters and rarest enemies in Terraria. Since 1.4.2.3 you can find Golden Slime in worlds created with the "celebrationmk10" secret world seed. In this video you can find out how to get Metal Detector and how to summon Dreadnautilus, Nymph, Doctor Bones, Gold Critters, Tim and Rune Wizard in Terraria.

Truffle Worm : can literally go thought hundreds of various tiles such as metal, ores, hardcore ores without being slow down when he tries to escape player.
Also truffle worm : Hemlp me I'm stuckm in a terrarium which is literally just a glass and bit of iron on top

Gold seahorse is probably one of the rarest given how little they spawn in the first place. I think I've gotten like 3 seahorses in my 700+ hours
I actually didnt know they were the rarest till i went fishing for a solid hour then looked at my bestiary out of boredom AND ACTUALLY FOUND A GOLDEN SEAHORSE but i didnt capture it ;-;

I found 2 golden water striders (2nd rarest golden critter), but NEVER a golden sea horse
You can use garden gnome or drink luck potion to increase rare creature spawn rate

@@joeythe_revenant5121 Yes it does , but only a few : Doctor Bones , Pinky , Ice Golem , Dungeon Slime , Mimic + Biome Mimics and few others.. Also golden critters !
Easiest way is to have A garden gnome + biome torch (bone torch for forest overworld and underground) so you can have 0,4 luck consistently (0,3 if bone torch) .If you don't mind fishing you can fish for pearls in desert oasis but it's really grindy !
Probably the ultimate flex in 1.4 is having every critter terrarium/jar in the game without using water candles, battle potions, or journey mode.
My favorite thing to do is to use lucky bonuses in the area next to my fishing spots with critter traps. Worms and the like easily get stuck in 1-block spaces, frogs and other water skimmers can be sifted from the tops of the water in 1-block gaps that slimes can't fit through. I do a lot of fishing, so having the critters pile up and count toward the mob cap is a nice, peaceful and lucrative way to fish in peace. When you're done fishing, just net up your haul and pack up back to the merchant to sell them. If you get a golden critter, so much the better!
Is it bad that in my 56 hours of playing ive seen over like two mabye three hundred gold things

I’ve literally killed at least 18 gold rabbits cause I travel with my chuthlu sheild to move a bit faster
*7:48* I think, that either golden strider or golden mouse are the rarest of them all. (Even just normal) Strider is an uncommon critter that spawns in water bodies, and rat is also uncommon but only spawns in caverns. So, golden variants are 150 times rarer then normal ones. '-'
Prismatic Lacewing is also really rare (I would argue even rarer of a butterfly then tree nymph itself): it only spawns in hallow biome at midnight after you have beaten Plantera, so no only it is very rare and requires very specific conditions, it also needs you to defeat a really late game boss.

I think you meant mouse, not rat. Previously you said mouse, and mice spawn in caverns while rats spawn in graveyards. They're different.
Plantera ain’t late game
They are much more common in blood moons. In a blood moon I got like 10 of them meanwhile nymph butterfly's only spawn in daytime

Fun fact: not all golden critters have the same rarity. Most critters, such as the seahorse and the water strider, are only spawnable under certain circumstances.

fun fact: My first Mastermode playthrough spawned a Nymph at the top of the cavern layer somehow and i DIED.
You can also use the flesh knuckle accessory and turtle armor
I have found every one of these except the tree nymph butterfly and dreadnatilus and I didn’t realize Tim was more rare than rune wizard I found Tim way more than tune wizard I saw rune wizard 3 times but only got to kill one so that’s cool
Im 7 months late but this guys tier list is shit, some of the lower mobs are much rarer than higher ranked ones, rune wizard is rarer than tim yeah.
I must have gotten really lucky with my first truffle worm (that I had a chance of catching) because it didn't even bother running away from me. Had I not first-tried the Duke, I may have known that they did that.

If you have trouble finding gold water strider, try find and oasis, clear the cattail, build 3 npc houses on the right side, then dig below the house to fill in lava to prevent critters to spawn on the right side, make sure to clear all the blocks just like making normal farms, now stand on the right side of the oasis, until you cant see the water, and wait, all critters will spawn only in the left side where the oasis is, so as the water striders, if you are playing in journey mode, just trying to research this critter, try set the timer at around 5pm where the sky starts to turn orange, then set the weather to not rain, and wind speed below 10mph, additionally, use water candle, luck potion, battle potion, gnome, lucky horseshoe, lucky coin, guide to critter companionship, and lifeform analyzer, keep your eyes on the analyzer, so you can catch the gold strider before it despawns, and goodluck, only took me around 1 hour (on journey mode tho) to catch 3 gold water striders
There are gemstone versions of bunny and squirrel too. They can be found in the underground

I actually found tim and killed him with a unusual celebration but i think his hat fell in the underworld lava. And i found the doc too but never found his hat since i had to many items in my inventory

Today I did a bit of crate fishing and when I was done I hade three golden carp. So I went to sell those and when I went to exit my house I noticed a golden squirrel sitting outside. I though it was kinda funny.

I spawned in a world and about 1 second after I bought a bug net my friend pointed out there was a golden bunny next to a gold bird and right after I caught those there was a gold squirrel and then not to long later I got a golden worm
I remember the first tree i cut down when I got into my master world a gold bird spawned
i have gold rabbit and gold squirrel more than once but in all my games only once i had emerald rabbit

I've found probably a dozen golden creatures but like never a truffle worm and I think one nymph.
Rune Wizard should be #1 because he only spawns if the exact bottom of the underground (not caverns) and then the underworld's bottom are combined divided by two, which results in a coordinate in which the player must stand at in order for him to rarely rarely spawn.

Wall creepers is extremely rare in hardmode but so common on pre-hardmode

In 1.3 rune wizards were very common if I ever go underground if I’m in the right area there is one but of course it kills my almost every time ugh I hate them so much for being cimmon
