God, if I did the most incredible thing to save humankind and the entire planet, I'd find it so painful to go through a ceremony like this, it's so painfully self-congratulatory, and self-conscious. Show me the real people who dedicate their lives to this stuff, and who do it for love of the planet and truth to themselves, and a higher purpose, these are the ones who I want to see and hear centre stage.

Funny how colin back away a little when he was asked a question after his wife long answer. And how he seemed to be zoning out whenever she speaks... Perhaps he was just tired..
Made me sick, when accolades was given to Livia. She wouldn’t be anywhere without Colin. Why did he stand by her when she cheated on him?
He’s a gentleman through and through. Very narcissistic of his wife to call her lover a stalker when they had an almost year long affair. Colin’s response to his email was “You hurt me. But I understand you are hurting too.” She played both men for fools. She doesn’t deserve him and once a cheat, always a cheat.

@@MirlaCriste 11 months is not "brief", and I strongly suspect they were not separated until she got caught. I don't believe a word she says.

I'm a fan of Colin. I know they have children together but it annoys me really when he remained friends with her after that stalker affair thing like he should've given himself a self respect. The funny thing is, the woman still using his surname which is obviously for PR cos' without Colin she'd just be like not really known for her worked and in the media. For such a man that he is. He degraded himself for this kind of a woman. He deserve someone who's not like this woman. Wonder, if he doesn't regret broken things of with Ms. Meg Tilly.

@@susieq9801 evidence? It's said that they were separated for almost a year; she then dated another man who turned creepy before she and Colin reunited. If that's the case, then for all you know, he dumped her and expressed no interest in reuniting (not judging him) which had nothing to do with anyone else. They may not have yet divorced, but for all intents and purposes, their relationship may have ended at that time except on paper. i understand why you are reacting to the "relationship goals inspo" theme, but.. you may have jumped to some erroneous conclusions. Even if they were still a couple on paper, if he left her privately, and she later dated, it wouldn't be adultery within the context of their actual relationship in real terms

its all very well and a good cause .. but she mixes in circles where people can afford to look stunning at huge prices to pick 'sustainable' fashion .. what about people who can only afford to buy from cheap clothes shops that ar so often the product of slave labour ?
Buy second hand and/or buy a very few, well made ethical pieces that will last
Rose Moon Kathryn, if you travel to Italy, you will find most people spend more money than other European people on fashion. It’s a known fact that their budget is something like a third of their wages are spent on clothes. I felt quite out of place in my Ellese tracky bottoms and tea shirt in Pisa and Venice. I understand your point though. Not many of us normal working people can afford designer clothes. I did buy a second hand John Charles dress once for a Christmas party. I suppose we should start looking at the local charity shops for designer clothes?

Amazing, she never was able to learn to speak good English with a good British accent! Her husband speaks Italian perfectly. She has been capitalizing on her husband's fame for a long time, doing just about everything to draw attention on the red carpet (see the latest outfits). This so called Green Carpet Challenge is useless, the goal is to make very rich people buy the most expensive unattainable designer 'eco' clothing. No wonder her eco store was closed. Next step, the most unaffordable brands. This eco preaching is very hypocrite. CF shouldn't allow this, but probably he is busy with his acting.
What is wrong with you? If you were an Italian speaker, you would know that he absolutely does NOT speak Italian perfectly. If you knew anything about people learning second languages as adults, you would know that people differ in their ability to "lose" their native "accent". It's actually difficult to lose it after about 12-14 years old. Henry Kissinger was a master of English vocabulary, grammar, etc., but he never was able to lose that strong German accent. It was so bad he was difficult to understand. I'd also like to know what spouse of someone going to an Awards Show goes to target to get a dress before going on the Red Carpet. If someone did they'd get lambasted. He's the late comer to this cause, not her. Of all the lame comments.
Oh dear, what nasty comments. Even many English-born natives have a problem speaking with a good English accent!. She is an Italian speaking English and, unless you have hearing problems, it is clear and easy to understand.. Obviously you know nothing about Mrs. Firth. Your ignorant statements should be embarrassing to you. Mr. Firth does not speak perfect Italian. It is good but his vocabulary is somewhat limited and, as he even says, he would never be mistaken for an Italian. He is an Englishman speaking Italian.
I m just curious how many other languages do you speak, and if you do (which i doubt) how fluent are you?
What is your standard of good English? She communicates very well and expresses herself effectively. Isn’t language for such purpose? And I am curious how many foreign languages do you speak fluently?
No her husband doesn’t speak a perfect Italian, he speaks a very very good Italian with a strong British accent that we Italians find adorable. What not to love about different accents?
