Amo eternamente a Colin Firth , el es un hermoso y atractivo hombre , y un excelente actor . Helena es encantadora , bella , y distinguida actriz . Los amo mucho a los dos..
I think Helena was a bit too chattery, took up Colin's time. I felt like throwing a shoe at the screen of my PC to land in her mouth so that she'd stop talking.
This interview brings out the fear behind stammering and more: a fear of public speaking is more common. I remember experiencing it once in a high school English class. I was giving a presentation when my brain seemed to shut down. Somehow I managed to snap out of the paralysis to finish the presentation (not very well!). I think what happened was largely due to the fact that, for the first time in my life, I was in boarding school (my dad was posted in a country where there was no American high school). So THE KING'S SPEECH brings out a problem many people may experience, if not all to the same degree.
I'm sorry Claire Bloom: we know an amazingly large amount about Queen Mary. Her parents were penniless/ bankrupt German relatives; she had a brother who gave her family's jewelry to a concubine, who she had to get back, after his death; she had been engaged to (and in love with) George V's dashing, older brother, who was quite the scandal (though he was a really nice guy, by his letters) some idiots still believe he was Jack the Ripper---but he died within days of the engagement and her engagement to Edward Albert had been concocted by Q.Victoria as a means to financially better Mary's (May) family. That Mary was successfully engaged to two such different men and that she would have made a successful wife to each of them, would speak volumes about what kind of woman she was.
They all looked profoundly uncomfortable in those high chairs with almost no back support. Surely a riser could have been placed on the stage to elevate them and comfortable chairs provided. I felt so bad for them, that I could hardly watch.
I also thought the setup was very unprofessional, also the fact that they had to carry their drinks inside themselves and weren't even provided with somewhere to place them. normally you come in and you should find a water bottle and glass on a table next to you.
Love love love Colin Firth!

Thank you.
Why the 2nd most important actor in the film is not there? The teacher!
