Isn't it true that bullmastiff are not that much propense to suffer from separation anxiety? Im considering getting a bullmastiff and I thought there were fine being alone at home

More exercise. I've seen running, and jumping being discouraged in mastiff puppies due potential harm to growth plates and creating other joint and orthopedic issues. How do you achieve both?

I adopted a 3 year old BM few months ago. He supposedly has been through 5 homes before me. He literally follows me everywhere around the house, is this normal BM behavior? He doesn't misbehave if I leave to go out. But I'm like dude it's ok to just keep taking a nap, I'm just going to the bathroom. Lol

I have adopted multiple rescue dogs over the last several years. For me that behavior was common for several months and got better over time. Awesome that you gave a dog a forever home.

@@tinazapata1379 that's what I was thinking too it has only been a few months. Hopefully he eventually realizes he doesn't need to follow me everywhere in the house. I'm not going anywhere and neither is he well at least not without me 😉

As Tina said, it's nothing to worry about and perfectly normal, especially for a bullmastiff :) if you're starting to get worried you can always create separation by closing doors etc.
