If you allow me to explain why some scenes are so similar that they are scary, in "the red cross book" delivered to those who saw the end of evangelion in the cinema it was clarified that in the neon genesis evangelion anime CG was used (computer graphics ) but processed in a two-dimensional way, in other words they drew on top of 3D models, in the game I'm very sure they put models with less polygons of the characters that were used for the series with the same animations, of course, not all the scenes from neon genesis evangelion used CG, that's why some scenes were redone for the game

Es increíble lo bien que replica las animaciones a pesar de lo muy limitada que era la capacidad gráfica de la consola.
Es verdaderamente una obra de arte del diseño 3D y una cátedra de como aprovechar al máximo los recursos disponibles.
Si esta gente hizo eso con polígonos, no puedo imaginar que habrían hecho con la tecnología actual.

Nope, that's just how it was uploaded. The one online ROMdump this game has is notoriously garbage, and doesn't play anywhere near correctly even on the best emulators, the audio being the most notable issue. The opening sequence is the biggest offender, as backgrounds just won't appear sometimes, the layers for when the title comes in are all screwed up, and Adam is shown with two pairs of wings during 2nd Impact, which is a result of the opening using 2D sprites, and the wings sprite just being accidentally duplicated because whoever dumped the ROM must have been new to the process, or had a screwed up cart or a weak PC or summin.
