2014 is 100m tall and the Evas are around 75m (NGE inconsistencies, in some shots 40m in some 90m) so the Eva's shoulder pads should ne the same height as Big-G's neck. It wouldn't have made too much of a diffirence but yeah...
Well, now in Godzilla vs Kong we see how durable Godzilla really is. Even after being knocked out he came back in seconds, full power, hell, we even see a sadistic Godzilla that laughed when Kong got burnt by his breath. Keep in mind we know Godzilla cam fight for weeks straight (Godzilla: king of the monsters) meaning he gas immense longevity in fights. He can last for weeks fighting, he can be stabbed and still fight, his breath his hot enough to burn to the center of the earth so I assume that his breath could melt the suit. I think Godzilla wins just because of his tanking nature, along with the fact that Godzilla can heal pretty fast.

The problem is that EVA 01 is super OP, I mean she didn't use many of her weapons here. She has a literal machine gun, a spear the size of her and an SMG (among others). Although I do agree Godzilla would probably try to get EVA 01 off his back instead of just kinda standing there.

Wow this is really good, SFMs like this are rare. I just uploaded Godzilla vs Ultraman [SFM] about 2 months ago and ended up getting over a million views, I hope this ends up with atleast 5 million in that same amount of time, because you deserve it, the quality in this is amazing.
I was rooting for Godzilla, since he can take on an otherworldly alien beast that's twice as big as him and can fly. Otherwise, badass. I'm at a loss for words. I think Tracer would have a hard time catching up with someone who can fly through the air with grappling hooks and wielding two swords, however. And for the third installment, can we get someone from Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead, as an idea?
Godzilla is strong but he's fighting whats basically mechagodzilla but without the downsides of being mechagodzilla, a monster made to fight and kill monsters like him (but not a slow hunk of metal)

You knew what you were going to start. Even if you didn't, the flame war that will rage on as a result will have occurred on either side of the ending. It is still a great animation and let none tell you otherwise.
On a separate post, I mentioned my dislike for the ending as well but its his vision, even if we are not approving of it and should encourage his continued growth. I found myself torn between liking it for the skill and effort he put in and disliking it for the ending. Only the creator knows which way I went.
This video was very well done, but the pacing was a bit slow for my tastes (although it did allow a lot of time to appreciate how beautiful each scene was!). I replayed it back at 1.25x speed and it is PERFECT pacing. Anyway, this was a badass video, great job!
Not liking how squishy Godzilla was in this, that beast is normally able to shrug off blows to the face from missiles larger than his head, his g-cells should have made him alot tougher and aided in extremely rapid regeneration, healing wounds in seconds if irradiated enough. That, and the atomic blast is usually alot more powerful, a devastating lazer beam toppling most foes over, what was shown here was as weak as zilla jr.'s irradiated fire breath, causing a decent level of damage but not really capable of blasting someone to oblivion. I am aware that this wasn't meant for accuracy, but I just wanted to point this out. I also wanted to point out that I don't think this would have been an easy battle for the monster king even with his power, both he and his angel slaying adversary have faced many monstrous and otherworldly foes, and they both go into mindless rage states under pressure, so they should have been quite evenly matched. I would say it would be 50/50 if Godzilla's true power was shown. Regardless of it all, I understand you just wanted to make this look cool with no regard for their stats and you succeeded, this animation was brilliant.

And... also cause him to go into meltdown mode which would grant him the power to destroy anything ranging from a city to a three-headed alien dragon devil to the entire planet in just few blasts. I wonder if an Eva's AT Field would be able to stand up to that. Considering how Eva 01's AT Field was completely taken down by one blast of Ramiel's beam whose power is similar to that of Godzilla.
The RGA00i1 Ramiels beam could tear down a mountain with ease, not even Godzilla beam could compete with that. In the show I believe Shinji was caught off guard and couldn’t project it’s at field in time,Sure I believe Burning Godzilla could hold it’s own but Eva’s berserk mode would tear that big beautiful bastard apart
@@rga0019 Godzilla's been hurt by bombs smaller than nukes, missiles, and simple piercings to his skin. A nuke's blast would definitely hurt him to some degree, or at least annoy him.
This was a really good animation. I think it is a given that this will be compared to ScrewAttack's Deathbattle. Particularly that the animation quality is far better in your video compared to theres. I especially liked how it gives a sense of grand scale. However, I will give it to Screwattack that the fights do not come off quite as stiff as this one does. Most particularly that the fight between the Eva and Godzilla was pretty stationary which is understandable considering the difference in scale of people working on each project. So overall, you did an amazing job Hero within what limitations you could handle. I look forward to seeing more.
What happened to Godzilla’s Durability? And where is his Wolverine-fast regeneration? All I want is too do is complain how wrong this fight is but... I can’t. The animation is just like Gordon Ramsey’s best Plate of Food compared to most others so I have no right to complain. That was cinematic good. Even at that size, Godzilla would still win. His healing power could pretty much nullify anything the Evangelion could throw at him. And it's not like Godzilla hasn't faced opponents like that before. He battled Mechagodzilla, who has an even more versatile arsenal. His durability is also INSANE. In Final Wars, he took a planet-busting meteor to the face and didn't even flinch. And let's not forget about Thermonuclear. He's also stupid strong, being able to lift and throw the 150,000 ton Super Mechagodzilla. He also survived falling to Earth from ABOVE THE ATMOSPHERE. Bottom line, Godzilla wins, no doubt. Edit because I forgot: In Final Wars Godzilla blows up the planet Gorath with a normal blast of atomic breath. A NORMAL one. That makes him Planet Level+

I don’t think Godzilla should’ve won that round. I don’t know what could this Godzilla in particular do in its peak. But Eva-01 is strong enough to end the entire world. The animator didn’t include one of the Eva’s abilities which is to create an A.T field which would’ve easily blocked Godzilla’s atomic breath.
Depends on which version we're talking about. Some Godzilla is literally a god among monster's, and can take huge amount of punishment. Some he trips by a small ledge. Looks like 2014 to me.

It is not meant to be accurate, it is just for entertainment purposes only, but i felt like they could have made godzilla more durable, i didnt like how godzilla's head just got butchered because its just a literal knife, if godzilla got defeated, i expected some rage powerup, not some kitchen knife
*This video sucks* (Inaccurate Video) Unit 01 would never be able to beat Godzilla alone. Even without taking the abilities of Unit 01 and Godzilla into account I could tell you that. I mean, has anyone put any thought into how bad Shinji would be peeing himself? But say Shinji got his act together and the other Evas backed him up, Godzilla would still most likely win. The Evas have a distinct advantage due to speed, numbers, and agility, but so did the MUTO's and look where that got them. Tokyo 3 would be there biggest advantage, by supplying them with weapons, hiding spots, and cover fire but advantages such as these are not beyond Godzilla's ability to overcome. While the AT field is an excellent defense against conventional weapons, weapons of mass destruction have penetrated them and damaged the angel itself. Sachiel and Israfel were both heavily damaged by N2 mines and forced to regenerate, Israfel for six days. Gaghiel wasn't even really killed by an Eva; they just opened its jaws, shoved a couple of ships down its throat and pushed the self destruct button. Godzilla's atomic breath likely has much more force behind it than a N2 and is focused into a beam instead of exploding out in every direction; while an AT field might give a few extra seconds to react, it would require an immensely powerful AT field to flat out block Godzilla's atomic breath. Shinji in Unit 01 or Unit 13 might be able to pull it off but only in one of those semi berserk "I'm the main character and thus automatically win" moments and that's not taking into Godzilla's own "I'm the main character and thus automatically win" move. Even worse is that the AT field is present in every living thing, it's just that only Evas and Angels have one powerful enough to be noticeable. That means Godzilla has an AT field and considering Godzilla's ability to absorb and generate energy and his ability to manipulate the energy in and around his body (such as when he generated the magnetic field in Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla II); it isn't unfeasible for Godzilla to, after sensing an AT Field powerful enough to be noticeable for the first time, figure out how to produce one of his own. Even if he doesn't, Godzilla still out paces the Evas defensively. In the Godzilla awakening comic he took a shot from a large meteor capable of ending the world /or ended the dinosaurs. He literally looked up, pulled himself out of the debris and, I doubt many of the Eva's weapons would hurt him; a progressive knife should be able to penetrate his hide but even if he is injured his Radiation would heal him almost immediately. In terms of raw physical power, Godzilla has them beat as well. Unless the Eva goes into beast mode or goes berserk they are not gonna be able to out muscle him and any attempts to do so would likely end with the Eva being ripped apart. The only real strategy the Evas have open to them is for them to use hit and run tactics with the progressive knife, hope that Godzilla will get bored and annoyed enough to leave, and pray that he doesn't get a clear shot at them or grab one of them. If that happens that Eva is lost; likely the pilot along with it. And if they did manage to get him to leave it would be with severe losses. Even then Godzilla has an innate sense for other beings of great power especially those that pose a threat to the earth like Monster Zero/Ghidorah, and can be rather territorial towards intruders, and flat out vicious towards any threat to what he would see as HIS planet. If he were to sense Lilith or Adam... well he definitely wouldn't approve of the third impact; they could fight all they want, he would not leave until he vaporizes them. As for a fight in space... last I checked neither of them are really equipped to do that, sure Unit 01 has those moments where it flies but they can't just up and fly without some kind of psuedo science, super magic, third impact mumbo jumbo happening. If they could they wouldn't have needed those carrier planes. While it would be humorous to see, it would be kind of redundant. Godzilla's atomic breath in this video is "wrong", first off- the reason his atomic breath is weak in the 2014 movie is because of the MUTO's having EMP's that can weaken the Godzilla speices' atomic breath, but in truth his atomic breath is likely the same with his 2019 counterpart, read the awakening comic where he showed his atomic breath where no MUTO's are around. A gun against Godzilla? dude seriously? Godzilla was Nuked Twice if not countless times, and took no damage, not even a scratch (Note: Nukes were able to damage Eva's such as the time where Unit 00 poked Zeruel with a Nuke), I doubt a gun like that would even scratch him, Next Time put a little effort and do some research because this video was so *BAD*

Not liking how squishy Godzilla was in this, that beast is normally able to shrug off blows to the face from missiles larger than his head, his g-cells should have made him alot tougher and aided in extremely rapid regeneration, healing wounds in seconds if irradiated enough. That, and the atomic blast is usually alot more powerful, a devastating lazer beam toppling most foes over, what was shown here was as weak as zilla jr.'s irradiated fire breath, causing a decent level of damage but not really capable of blasting someone to oblivion. I am aware that this wasn't meant for accuracy, but I just wanted to point this out. I also wanted to point out that I don't think this would have been an easy battle for the monster king even with his power, both he and his angel slaying adversary have faced many monstrous and otherworldly foes, and they both go into mindless rage states under pressure, so they should have been quite evenly matched. I would say it would be 50/50 if Godzilla's true power was shown.
Regardless of it all, I understand you just wanted to make this look cool with no regard for their stats and you succeeded, this animation was brilliant.

Cryptomaster beemoth Dude this is an Eva we’re talking about. Not even a nuke would be able to scratch its paint job, an Eva could take Godzilla. They downplayed the Eva as well, never mind berserk mode.
Machiavelli2pc A nuke wouldn't even phase Godzilla at all. In fact, it would just juice him up instead and annoy him probably. And... also cause him to go into meltdown mode which would grant him the power to destroy anything ranging from a city to a three-headed alien dragon devil to the entire planet in just few blasts. I wonder if an Eva's AT Field would be able to stand up to that. Considering how Eva 01's AT Field was completely taken down by one blast of Ramiel's beam whose power is similar to that of Godzilla.
The RGA00i1 Ramiels beam could tear down a mountain with ease, not even Godzilla beam could compete with that. In the show I believe Shinji was caught off guard and couldn’t project it’s at field in time,Sure I believe Burning Godzilla could hold it’s own but Eva’s berserk mode would tear that big beautiful bastard apart
@@rga0019 Godzilla's been hurt by bombs smaller than nukes, missiles, and simple piercings to his skin. A nuke's blast would definitely hurt him to some degree, or at least annoy him.

This was a really good animation. I think it is a given that this will be compared to ScrewAttack's Deathbattle. Particularly that the animation quality is far better in your video compared to theres. I especially liked how it gives a sense of grand scale. However, I will give it to Screwattack that the fights do not come off quite as stiff as this one does. Most particularly that the fight between the Eva and Godzilla was pretty stationary which is understandable considering the difference in scale of people working on each project.
So overall, you did an amazing job Hero within what limitations you could handle. I look forward to seeing more.

Even at that size, Godzilla would still win. His healing power could pretty much nullify anything the Evangelion could throw at him. And it's not like Godzilla hasn't faced opponents like that before. He battled Mechagodzilla, who has an even more versatile arsenal. His durability is also INSANE. In Final Wars, he took a planet-busting meteor to the face and didn't even flinch. And let's not forget about Thermonuclear. He's also stupid strong, being able to lift and throw the 150,000 ton Super Mechagodzilla. He also survived falling to Earth from ABOVE THE ATMOSPHERE. Bottom line, Godzilla wins, no doubt.
Edit because I forgot: In Final Wars Godzilla blows up the planet Gorath with a normal blast of atomic breath. A NORMAL one. That makes him Planet Level+

Excuse me, but how would godzilla even penetrate Eva's AT-field? The only things that could Do that are the other EVAs/angels using their AT-fields and the spear of longenuss.

I don’t think Godzilla should’ve won that round. I don’t know what could this Godzilla in particular do in its peak. But Eva-01 is strong enough to end the entire world. The animator didn’t include one of the Eva’s abilities which is to create an A.T field which would’ve easily blocked Godzilla’s atomic breath.
Depends on which version we're talking about. Some Godzilla is literally a god among monster's, and can take huge amount of punishment. Some he trips by a small ledge. Looks like 2014 to me.

The whole map was a scenebuild. Basically a crapton of spawned props assembled into the shape of a city. The map was originally a giant empty void.

It is not meant to be accurate, it is just for entertainment purposes only, but i felt like they could have made godzilla more durable, i didnt like how godzilla's head just got butchered because its just a literal knife, if godzilla got defeated, i expected some rage powerup, not some kitchen knife

Unit 01 would never be able to beat Godzilla alone. Even without taking the abilities of Unit 01 and Godzilla into account I could tell you that. I mean, has anyone put any thought into how bad Shinji would be peeing himself? But say Shinji got his act together and the other Evas backed him up, Godzilla would still most likely win. The Evas have a distinct advantage due to speed, numbers, and agility, but so did the MUTO's and look where that got them. Tokyo 3 would be there biggest advantage, by supplying them with weapons, hiding spots, and cover fire but advantages such as these are not beyond Godzilla's ability to overcome. While the AT field is an excellent defense against conventional weapons, weapons of mass destruction have penetrated them and damaged the angel itself. Sachiel and Israfel were both heavily damaged by N2 mines and forced to regenerate, Israfel for six days. Gaghiel wasn't even really killed by an Eva; they just opened its jaws, shoved a couple of ships down its throat and pushed the self destruct button. Godzilla's atomic breath likely has much more force behind it than a N2 and is focused into a beam instead of exploding out in every direction; while an AT field might give a few extra seconds to react, it would require an immensely powerful AT field to flat out block Godzilla's atomic breath. Shinji in Unit 01 or Unit 13 might be able to pull it off but only in one of those semi berserk "I'm the main character and thus automatically win" moments and that's not taking into Godzilla's own "I'm the main character and thus automatically win" move. Even worse is that the AT field is present in every living thing, it's just that only Evas and Angels have one powerful enough to be noticeable. That means Godzilla has an AT field and considering Godzilla's ability to absorb and generate energy and his ability to manipulate the energy in and around his body (such as when he generated the magnetic field in Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla II); it isn't unfeasible for Godzilla to, after sensing an AT Field powerful enough to be noticeable for the first time, figure out how to produce one of his own. Even if he doesn't, Godzilla still out paces the Evas defensively. In the Godzilla awakening comic he took a shot from a large meteor capable of ending the world /or ended the dinosaurs. He literally looked up, pulled himself out of the debris and, I doubt many of the Eva's weapons would hurt him; a progressive knife should be able to penetrate his hide but even if he is injured his Radiation would heal him almost immediately. In terms of raw physical power, Godzilla has them beat as well. Unless the Eva goes into beast mode or goes berserk they are not gonna be able to out muscle him and any attempts to do so would likely end with the Eva being ripped apart. The only real strategy the Evas have open to them is for them to use hit and run tactics with the progressive knife, hope that Godzilla will get bored and annoyed enough to leave, and pray that he doesn't get a clear shot at them or grab one of them. If that happens that Eva is lost; likely the pilot along with it. And if they did manage to get him to leave it would be with severe losses. Even then Godzilla has an innate sense for other beings of great power especially those that pose a threat to the earth like Monster Zero/Ghidorah, and can be rather territorial towards intruders, and flat out vicious towards any threat to what he would see as HIS planet. If he were to sense Lilith or Adam... well he definitely wouldn't approve of the third impact; they could fight all they want, he would not leave until he vaporizes them. As for a fight in space... last I checked neither of them are really equipped to do that, sure Unit 01 has those moments where it flies but they can't just up and fly without some kind of psuedo science, super magic, third impact mumbo jumbo happening. If they could they wouldn't have needed those carrier planes. While it would be humorous to see, it would be kind of redundant.
Godzilla's atomic breath in this video is "wrong", first off- the reason his atomic breath is weak in the 2014 movie is because of the MUTO's having EMP's that can weaken the Godzilla speices' atomic breath, but in truth his atomic breath is likely the same with his 2019 counterpart, read the awakening comic where he showed his atomic breath where no MUTO's are around.
A gun against Godzilla? dude seriously? Godzilla was Nuked Twice if not countless times, and took no damage, not even a scratch (Note: Nukes were able to damage Eva's such as the time where Unit 00 poked Zeruel with a Nuke), I doubt a gun like that would even scratch him, Next Time put a little effort and do some research because this video was so *BAD*
