One word: Western Think about it, (to my knowledge) there aren't any very traditional-style revolvers in the lineup, or even just revolvers with interchangeable cylinders or a speed loader for quick reloads. There could be single or double action versions and ones that are specifically designed to be used one-handed so they could be duel-wielded. Also it could expand onto lever-action rifles, double-barrel shotguns, heavy gatling guns, etc... maybe even use thinner/smaller darts for the revolvers to look more natural and so they fly faster than most other blasters from another series for that true gunslinger vibe.
We need a series that brings back historical guns in the form of nerf, like the moist nugget or the tommy gun. These darts should have a metallic texture
@@spectrl9768 lol yeah il explain. So the moist nugget is the nickname for the Mosin Nagant. That was a gun used by the russian army a long time ago. It's still used in many conflicts because these things were mass produced during ww2
Anyone remember the Nerf melee weapons? The swords, shields, axes, and such? I miss those, they were really good quality foam weapons. They were cool. Why did they stop making those?
Oracle of Mischief consider this: LARP results in more hospitalisations than reenactment with steel weapons, and airsoft combined. The nerf melee weapons were basically LARP weapons. No matter how padded they are if swung around or jabbed with enough force they can hurt. When you consider how nerf blasters in general are hitting softer and sometimes even have anti-modder developments like solvent welding, in general it's clear they are worried about operating in a litigation society.
They have continued smaller melee weapons in things like the zombie strike sword and the smaller axe/machete/bat and doomlands dagger. But yeah, it could really hurt to be hit by a marauder axe.
Yea they could do ones that are stronger Call then hobby guns rather than toys Market them for late teen to college age and give a warning to wear eye protection Bam it works
Noah Beier well no I doubt nerf would make Stefan’s it would make more sense for them to just take elite darts and slice em in half, or make a new dart and slice them in half Stefan’s are too complicated and don’t they have like some type of weight in them? Correct me if I’m wrong but if that’s the case nerf would never put that in a dart

#fft Rival is all about practical stuff, so I think that the line should release some attachments. The stock and barrel attachments are too late to release, as there are so many blasters with fixed stocks and different types of barrels.
It’s like hasbro sits in a cave for their bird rooms and go full caveman: “INNOVATE ELITE” “NO. INNOVATE ELITE BAD.” “NEW STRYFE WITH BITS” “STRYFE WITH BITS GOOD, INNOVATION BAD.”
#fft of course. The rival series (and future sub series) seem to be aimed at an older audience, meaning more desire for more realistic customizations for the rival blasters. Many rival blasters currently have decent amounts of attachment rails and the options for customization are quite expansive. Additionally, the “real steel” attachments that go with rival blasters are more realistic, more desirable, and more expensive, meaning room for a lot of profit. The upcoming rival sub series feature several sniper-like weapons, and a variety of real steel scopes would be both compatible and wanted by many people.
Are those 50th anniversary Nerf darts actually a upcoming (or released) item? If so, is it available to the public? By that I mean can you just pick them up at your local Walmart or buy them on Amazon. Please let me know, I'm very curious.
How about a straight up Western styles series? I mean the Hammershot is dope, but I want a realistic designed revolver, realistic repeater/lever action rifle, an actual shot gun or full auto shot gun. Bolt action sniper? Shorter bullets in clips or for the realistic-ish revolver?
I seriously don’t understand the Nerf enthusiasts that are over the age of 10. From when I was 9-12, I use to play with Nerf guns with my friends. I really didn’t like how clunky they were, how pricey the darts were, especially that you would loose them easily, and how they shot at 10FPS and had the Maximum Range of around 5-10 feet. All of that lead me to become the Airsofter that I am today. No more FPS problem, no more clunky, awkward, bright colored guns, 1 bb is more than 100% less of the price than a nerf dart, and when people get shot, the feel it and know they are hit.
Performance has improved since then. 70 fps is the par and if less is found, it's a cruddy blaster. And 100 fps is routine with modded and 3d printed stuff.
It's just another play style, thats all. And the performance has definitely gone up, and I agree air soft and paintball are also some of my hobbies, but sometimes you just wanna shoot people in the face indoors and only feel bad for a minute because its foam and not a plastic bb or a hard paint projectile lol.
I will say a few of the rebelle guns were a nice sleek counterpart to their bulkier "boy" variants. Especially the hammershot redesign was NICE, that sleek shell with little design work on it lent well to the artists in all of us.
Hey Legit bread you forgot about the Nerf Alpha Strike Hammerstorm, cause this does have a Barrel Attachment Point, Top Tactical Rail, and a Bottom Tactical Rail.
Honestly, an idea floating around in my head is to make the N-Strike Elite Neo series, which revamps and improves old blasters in a way that's more... competitive, optimized. Not to the quality of pure modding, but improved out of the box quality for fans who love a competent simple blaster over a new design. For example, a redesigned rapid strike with a higher rate of fire, angled fly wheels to give the darts spin, removable stock for customization, and a switch for semi and full auto. Over all it'd be a performance change rather than a visual redesign. It wouldn't be for everyone, however the niche markets it hits could receive it well and promote it.
Maybe they could make a series with blasters that look very futuristic and have alot of unique and innovative gimmicks. Like maybe LED lights, an expanding/transforming barrel, or a transformable light up sight. Just stuff that looks really cool that could maybe be battle ready.
We need a Nerf hand-cranked Gatling gun. Hell, an entire historical sub-theme could work. Just think of a Gatling gun, a bolt action riffle, a blow-back pistol, a wheel-lock riffle, a Blunderbuss, a revolver riffle, or even a muzzle-loaded musket!
Great video and insight, Hasbro will probably make their money off licensed product, Marvel, Star Wars, and video games, with occasionally new Nerf stuff
Here's some ideas: a breach loading revolver More MEGA blasters that use clips, maybe even a MEGA drum More blasters that utilize the sledgedire/Trilogy shells More types of shells and blasters that use them BeInG aBlE tO bUy ClIpS/MaGs/ShElLs InDiViDuAlLy Reimagine some older blasters, improve performance/new shells/new paint jobs Me personally, I have fun with nerf guns that are fun to reload. I'd still buy and have lots of fun with blasters that have worse performance if they had odd or less practical reload mechs that are fun to use. Well, as long as performance wasn't so bad that it constantly jams or has firing issues
the problem i've got with nerf is the expense. To buy a non-electrical blaster, it's still 30 dollars even though its fully plastic. ALSO MORE B U L L P U P S
#fft i would love to see rival attachments but in a separate series like they did with zombie strike so that the hard core players wont be affected and the creative players will be able to express them self's in a rival match
this video has inspired me to make my own nerf gun ideas, for example one of them is a no battery flywheel blaster, the trigger pull will be hard because of the fact that you're pushing the dart forward and you're also spinning the flywheels but i think it's worth the fact that there's no rev of prime it's just pulling a trigger
Aaaaand here we are 2 years later, and what did nerf give us? The welded together, cheaply made, probably broken in the box already Elite 2.0. Oh, and Hyper. Rounds that cost more than actual chicken mcnuggets and bounce into ibliviso you need to go buy more after every game/blasting session. Boo.
How nerf can revive themselves: *CoD collaboration *Doom collaboration *hand guns with recoil and shell ejection *m1 granard nerf gun *M O R E J O L T S *make a tactical jolt (Bucketthatboi27’s concept) *a nerf AR15 *a nerf ak47 *a nerf makarov *a nerf glock *a nerf m1911 *a nerf magnum “good, that’s one loose end”
What nerf sniper do you recommend? They should have a borderlands style blasters. Like a double barrel, sniper, ar, pistol and a smg. And they make loads, and loads and loads of attachments so they can have millions and millions of combos. Imagine modulus but on steroids and a post apocalyptic style.
in the future i really wanna see a infinus regulator thing with a speed load select fire thing and possibly one of the 50 dart drums from the titan since it would likely be "shredding" through darts with less capacity and it wouldn't be an issue reloading the titan drum at all with the infinus speed loading stuff
I realize this is totally just your opinion, but I disagreed slightly when you said that they should make the Rival blasters more customizable because Rival is clearly more focused on performance other than being modular
Hear me out: - Modulus and accustrike reboot - think Modulus Retaliator (new internals and attachments) - Introduction to half-length darts - 80+ FPS blasters - full auto stryfe-sized blasters - More bull-pup blasters (bull-pup springer, bull-pup sniper) - IF Elite 2.0 is still a thing, maybe Elite 2.0 modulus kits (even if they’re reskined fore grips and barrels, I don’t want to have to buy another blaster just for a stock that’s the same color)
I’ve already thought of 2 overwatch ones a sombra flywheel like the Hera obviously the shell of the sombra gun full auto and takes rival mags. And torbjorn like a Kronos the red part at the back of his gun could be the prime handle and infront of the prime handle the greyish part can hold 3,4 or 5 rival rounds and a melee torbjorn foam hammer
Nerf: Realism Slim darts Mags that could fit 20-30 of those slim darts Based off guns like 1911 and AR-15’s New paint jobs for weapons Hard and very accurate blaster Actual improving attachments ex: sights and barrels More accessories like shields melees and robots Grenades with foam balls: 10 at max Different sized bullets for different gun This is all i have for ideas Plz add more in the replies
What if we had a borderlands-like line? One where every blaster has some weird but cool shtick to it like bullets that split, a blaster that comments on your shooting, a blaster that shoots out a bomb that explodes with balls on impact, or one that plays instruments when firing. They don't always have to have tactical advantages, just something unique. I know this is probably a very dumb idea, I'm just getting tired of the reskins they're doing almost every year.

K UA-cam. That wasn't a random thing to recommend at all.
I will say the rebel design team was on the ball at its time.
#fft a launcher for the current rival grenade or a new one
What nerf sniper do you recommend?
They should have a borderlands style blasters. Like a double barrel, sniper, ar, pistol and a smg. And they make loads, and loads and loads of attachments so they can have millions and millions of combos. Imagine modulus but on steroids and a post apocalyptic style.
They should make tf2 guns tho
in the future i really wanna see a infinus regulator thing with a speed load select fire thing and possibly one of the 50 dart drums from the titan since it would likely be "shredding" through darts with less capacity and it wouldn't be an issue reloading the titan drum at all with the infinus speed loading stuff
I realize this is totally just your opinion, but I disagreed slightly when you said that they should make the Rival blasters more customizable because Rival is clearly more focused on performance other than being modular
Legit bread: I dont look forward to the alpha strike series.
Me being a cheap skate:I'll take 'em.
What if they update old blasters like miniguns and snipers?
Edit: had to fix autocorrect changed everyword
Hear me out:
- Modulus and accustrike reboot
- think Modulus Retaliator (new internals and attachments)
- Introduction to half-length darts
- 80+ FPS blasters
- full auto stryfe-sized blasters
- More bull-pup blasters (bull-pup springer, bull-pup sniper)
- IF Elite 2.0 is still a thing, maybe Elite 2.0 modulus kits (even if they’re reskined fore grips and barrels, I don’t want to have to buy another blaster just for a stock that’s the same color)
Where can I get the avengers retaliator that’s in the thumbnail?
I’ve already thought of 2 overwatch ones a sombra flywheel like the Hera obviously the shell of the sombra gun full auto and takes rival mags. And torbjorn like a Kronos the red part at the back of his gun could be the prime handle and infront of the prime handle the greyish part can hold 3,4 or 5 rival rounds and a melee torbjorn foam hammer
Nerf: Realism
Slim darts
Mags that could fit 20-30 of those slim darts
Based off guns like 1911 and AR-15’s
New paint jobs for weapons
Hard and very accurate blaster
Actual improving attachments ex: sights and barrels
More accessories like shields melees and robots
Grenades with foam balls: 10 at max
Different sized bullets for different gun
This is all i have for ideas
Plz add more in the replies
What if we had a borderlands-like line? One where every blaster has some weird but cool shtick to it like bullets that split, a blaster that comments on your shooting, a blaster that shoots out a bomb that explodes with balls on impact, or one that plays instruments when firing. They don't always have to have tactical advantages, just something unique. I know this is probably a very dumb idea, I'm just getting tired of the reskins they're doing almost every year.
Honestly, I can definitely see where they can improve their guns.
Why do they just create more manual rev nerf guns there’s only one (rev reaper)
