    👨 Who am I?
    I am Jereme - my wife and I paid off 50k in debt, quit our 9-5 jobs, sold most of our stuff, drove across country from Oregon to Michigan, and bought a small A-Frame Cabin in cash to live simply.
    This decision gave us more control over our time to actually focus on the things that matter to us - serving Christ, each other, and our community better.
    I created this channel to empower you to become more intentional with your time, talent, and money in order to live the life that you want to, not what society expects of you.

    At 65 years of age I spent my life also doing the ‘right’ thing. I’ve worked in ministry from the age of 22. How fortunate, blessed, even highly favored you are to experience what you have! I ‘Know’ that wanting clarity of purpose. It was not that long ago I discovered one more step along your same path of blessed assurance in purpose. I began to use your understanding of giving and loving others and flipped it around to use as a mirror. Mat 22:37-39 The second greatest commandment is love thy neighbor as thyself. I began giving myself permission to love, appreciate and value ‘ myself ‘ as God does. Loving and giving to others is very demanding and we are SO Soon depleted we Must learn, And Live, from that place of value God has for us!
    Much love, prayer and prosperity for you and your young family!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

    Thank you for putting it out so plainly..sometimes we try to make the simplest of changes into something extremely complicated..when really it all boils down to loving God and loving others ❤

    So timely. Yesterday i also encountered a preaching about loving thy neighbor. It's funny how God is revealing to me the status of my heart. He knew how much i loathe my bosses in my new work. And told me i am to love my neighbor just like the Good Samaritan.
    What good it is if you do this and that and yet not have love in you.. yeah that hits. Everything we do if it doesn't proceed from love, it just becomes plain good works.
    Thank you for this msg.

    This is wonderful. I have been struggling in my life and relationship with God. Last night I prayed to Him for the first time in months asking Him this very question and telling Him how I want a deeper relationship with Him but not knowing what to do about it. God heard me and used your video to help give me the answers. Thank you very much, keep making videos God will use them to help others!

    I decided to re-read Brother Lawrence's book "The Practice of the Presence of God" and was just thinking about this today. I have admired many people's lives throughout history, not because of their careers or the impressive things they've done, but because they loved God fiercely. They desired Him with their whole heart and were close to Him. Naturally, that leads us to love others as well. And I heard Randy Kay say something interesting (he was clinically dead and saw the Lord in Heaven): Closeness to God is the currency of Heaven. There is nothing more precious in this life.

    This was so refreshing brother. Thank you for putting this video together. My family and I are in so many of the same spots as your family. We are debt free, paid off the home and it is a struggle for me to sit and block off time to work on my walk with the Lord. It is rooted in love! Thanks again for sharing your talents and breaking this down. I needed to hear it.

    the problem is there is a lot of teaching and buzz phrases with no substance. There is no discipleship. It is the blind leading the blind. Those two commandments sum up the Law or rather torah which means instruction. The first 4 commands show how to love God and the other 6 show how to love others. When you realize its not law but instruction because God loves you it changes your perspective. You love your wife the way she appreciates it. God told you how to love him. When you follow ALL of the ten commands you love God. He told you what he wants from you. Problem is we ignore it then justify ourselves for doing so

      True, true. When we dont study and ask what He means about the words that He gave, then we're left to our interpretation and think it's fine because our heart is in the 'right place.' We need more people to disciple others, but many don't want to be.

    Amen brother. Well said. I recall a perfect example of this. In 1965 Charles Shultz produced "A Charlie Brown Christmas". In this nationally televised show, Linus explains the true meaning of Christmas to Charlie Brown by reciting from Luke 2 8-14. That year, and every year thereafter, millions of people heard the Gospel for the very first time. This was Charles Shultz' purpose. I saw the very first airing as an 8 year old, on our black and white TV.

      I love that show and the fact that Linus reads the King James scripture. But that's not the gospel Many love the birth of Christ. The sweet baby Jesus. But they are offended at the cross of Calvary.
      They don't like to think they such sinners that Jesus had to die for their sins. And that he came up from the dead. That's the gospel. Jesus dying for the sins of the whole world. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.

    • @DaveM-FFB
      @DaveM-FFB 2 роки тому +3

      @@jerrylisby5376 Obviously Linus did not read the complete gospel. But he read enough to answer the question "can anyone tell me what Christmas is all about?". We've commercialized Christmas and turned it into St Nick, coming down the chimney to bring toys to kids. When in fact, it's about the birth of our savior Jesus.

    • @jerrylisby5376
      @jerrylisby5376 2 роки тому +1

      @@DaveM-FFB Yep I love that. Also they tried to stop it because of the scriptures but Charles stood his ground and they let it air and is still popular today! Like I heard a preacher say one time : Everything depends on God blessing a thing or not. To me it is so cool that God blessed it. One more thing. Linus lets go of his blanket when he is reading about God's peace coming on this earth!

    • @DaveM-FFB
      @DaveM-FFB 2 роки тому +1

    I’m 22 and have been feeling super lost in the direction as to where God wants me. Most people my age have graduated and are starting their careers while I’m changing my major again and going back to college again. I’ve been so focused of what God wants me to do and where I’m supposed to go I’ve lost track of having a relationship with God in my confusion. Thanks for this video I needed a reminder to seek God first and to love Him more then myself.

    Beautiful message!
    I had a very abundant life financially and was able to travel wherever and had a house with a pool in my mid 20’s. I felt like my life was stuck cuz I wasn’t satisfied even with all the physical possessions I had. Now I understand why They’re called had possessions cuz they posses the carnal creature that all they breath and walk and eat and talk about is mammon 24/7.
    I started deducing by getting rid of half of what I had. The more freer I was and I even started fasting with no fornication for 16 months. One midnight in my car, I pondered on how light my thoughts have become and that I can seem to go in deeper and deal with those past sins that causes me subconscious guilt and shame. All of a sudden my whole life flashed before and all of those hurt and pain and sins were all of a sudden being erased in my reel tape of life that I cried for I knew deep inside I was at peace beyond human comprehension. Then a dark version of me floated out of me and it turned into a red skinned demon with horns snarling in mid air. The heavens opened and twisting flames came down and consumed that evil thing and it screamed in agony but I was crying in joy for that thing was finally dealt with. I just confessed with my mouth that I can’t live without you Jesus for I am dead and mind you I was an atheist then but good-willed so to speak. But after that experience, my voice was freed and I am now able to sing for the Lord without fear for He made me roar like a lion on stage to hear His gift as a witness. Jesus loves us all. Without Jesus, we’d be forever hungry for anything. Knowing Him made me rest in confidence for we are fighting in victory and not for victory. Love you all highest heavenly brethren!
    Asking the Heavenly Father to cover my family all over the world with His holy hedge of protection in every turn in Jesus name with the power of thy gift the Holy Spirit, amen and amen and emet! ❤️🙏🏻🕊🔑😇👑🌁

    I’ll be honest since I was small I’ve always wanted to do “Gods will” and please him. I’ve always loved others more than myself. Even preached the gospel to my wife and she accepted Jesus in her life. And to me my life has just been in misery for me personally. This happens when you love others and no one really cares about you in return. I’m depleted by now I wanted to be in ministry and very close to graduating with a degree in biblical studies. I even sold our home in hopes of selling our worldly possessions to follow Christ. And here I am with my family close to homelessness. I don’t think personally there are purposes in peoples lives except what one decided to do. I’ve been praying for many years and I still have no purpose. Now my focus instead is how to make money and not be poor and close to being a homeless with my family. I think if people really had their faith tested and really did what the word of God said, it would show who really are his disciples. I can say I’ve sold everything to follow Jesus and not many believers I know have ever done that.
