The Black Echo was the first book I read for pleasure. I have read every one of Michael Connelly's books. I had the extreme pleasure to meet him in Kuwait when he came on a USO tour. He signed two books that I had with me. Since I have read every one of James Lee Burke's books and have enjoyed every one! Thank you both for bringing an escape to me!!!!
My two favorite authors. Thank you Miss Nicole. Regardless of genre they are national treasures. I have to say because I just read it James reminds me of F Scott in the way he paints a setting in words. Great historical artifact in memorializing for posterity this interview/expose. Thanks
My two fav authors in any genre. Both are national treasures. JLB paints word pictures at the level of F Scott. He has a tool box of real life experiences that underpin his work. MC has created my favorite character and then gave him real flesh and blood in Harry Bosch. This video will go into the vaults of museums as thru time people desire to connect with those that created truly great fiction.
I can't believe it!! My two favourite authors in one go what a treat. I'm a big audiobook reader and have been spoilt by the likes of Mark Hammer, Will Patton, Len Carriou and Titus Welliver. May they keep reading those wonderful stories. Jolie Blon....
every time i finish a new Robicheaux novel, i feel like i am losing a good friend. he must be tired of writing Robicheaux novels, and, to be sure, how many stories can be told before they start getting old? i would like to offer up a suggestion. Maybe one more novel but going back in time to the early days of " the Bobbsey Twins". they surely must have been two men trying to make a difference in the world. I see them struggling not only with the criminal elements but as they came to realize that the very powers they serve were very satisfied with the status quo. superiors and peers on the take. honest men that slowly realized they had to take matters into their own hands. Even to the point of breaking the law themselves. slowing turning into the very people they were trying to stop. to the point of eventually losing their badges. the thin line between right and wrong crossed because justice had indeed turned a blind eye.
This was amazing! Two of the greats!

What an insightful commentary by two of my favorites. Grab a cup of coffee and expect to be rewarded for the next hour of your life.

Two of my very favourite authors together .. this is like De Niro & Pacino meeting in Heat for the 1st time. Less than 2K views is itself a crime.
My two favorite authors ..! Add Ken Bruen and hit a trifecta ..
