I want to thank you, for your videos. I have been watching your videos for a long time and have always second guessed myself on doing repairs on my own phone. So I finally had my screen die on me and I used this video to fix it. Thank you really, the sense of accomplishment I got from doing it myself was really nice. Thank you.

who loves the 3A or 3A XL than the normal 3 because the notch is too weird on the Normal 3?
Me
Not just the notch, but the fact it has a headphone jack, it's light, more durable (plastic vs glass) and has the same camera as the Pixel 3/3xl and is a lot cheaper. A better buy.
Normal 3 does not have a notch, the 3 XL does.
grawnut Heck, even battery life is better!

The pixel 3a is a practically perfect phone; a pinnacle of photographic prowess. With a value that predicates panic among more painfully priced phones. A prerequisite to purchases though is to politely pragmatically and painstakingly pry open the pixel to pin point any potential pitfalls.

Really enjoy when companies does simplify the architecture inside phones.
U rock Zack🤙🏻
Mitchell Barbosa they used to do that. And then the Apple nation attacked.
I understand that the complexity of hardware development may affect design architecture but I do believe companies has to approach a better language for customers and techies.😶
That pull tab experience really made it all worthwhile...

I do love the company who make part easily to repair, USB C and Headphone 3.5 can be pull out from logic board easily.
It's a dangerous operation, but gets it right everytime 😂
Practicing periodically can possibly pump your performance to perfection.
The squeeze function is good for launching the Google Assistant when you're driving and you don't want to say "OK Google" and wake up everybody's phone.
Or if you have a Google Home Assistant and don't want that to go on.
Love the peeling sound
Zach I didn't know you had such prowess with painfully precise poetry
Your videos are a treat to watch in 60 FPS.

*That sounds, I make on school desk while everyone is focused on learning.*
Thanks for the video. Pixel 3a looks easy to repair and cleverly designed. Still can't believe the screen is only held in place by adhesive!
Nice to see that they brought back the screen replacement process from my Pixel 2.
I have a Pixel 2 and have replaced my screen 3x, the only downside is that you also need to replace the AMOLED panel when you break the glass, setting me back $110 CAD (about $85 USD) just for breaking my glass.
3rd time around I put a tempered glass screen protector, scratching at level 6 with deeper groves at a level 7.
that magical pull tab sounds like a motorcycle
I do use the squeeze functionality for Google assistant and snoozing alarms.
Thats about it. Love u
Thanks for the info really considering buying this phone.

Is the screen good ?
@honda1979 The only shortcoming is that it doesn't have the head phone jack, right? If it had that, I would have bought it, too. Lol
The build quality is pretty good on this phone. Good video.
I use the edge functions several times every day! Of course, with the original Edge Sense, you can launch apps, pull up a scroll wheel, open notifications, turn the flashlight, open the camera, take photos, swap cameras, launch multiple assistants, zoom in and out of maps, play/pause music, and perform context sensitive functions in thousands of apps. But, this is the Pixel, which only has the bare bones version.

Love your videos man I don't see the point of a burn test but it is kind of a tradition since you've done it to every phone's durability test that I can remember. Anyhoo CAN YOU PLEASE DO A DURABILITY TEST VIDEO FOR THE OPPO RENO 10X, and the Xiaomi k20 pro pretty please with a cherry on top
Easier to take apart...plus the screens should be fairly inexpensive for this one. I have torn apart a few phones, laptops, PC..ect. This phone is by far the simplest to teardown and replace. Great video!
