    Appreciate you ❤ talked to some guy at Duke's and he told me that because it was a jeep there was nothing I could do. I think he just hates jeeps lol

    Thank you for this video man, very helpful. I have an 07 grand cherokee and was going to just drill a hoke through the firewall on the passangers side to run the wire but after seeing where you ran it through on the drivers side its much easier. And also help for the ground in back too. Thanks again.

    this is a good video, I used the same path for my power wire as you did, but as for the ground wire I would recommend you get bolted to the actual frame rather than a thing piece of sheet metal, a rear seat bolt is a good spot also as long as you clean the surface with a wire brush.

    I love how he says 8 gauge and it's 100% 4 gauge even sayscthat on the spool 😂

    any good installer would also warn you NOT to drill into anything WITHOUT CHECKING first. I mean you dont want to drill into a gas tank or anything. just saying.

    Need to turn that gain up or get a stronger amp those subs are not even moving

  • @kylesaunders7152

    Should have bridged that amp an wired those subs down to 2ohm that amp has more than enough power to get those subs moving

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  2 роки тому +1

      Amp isn't stable bridged at 2 ohms which is why it had to be wired as is. Also, not our personal vehicle or equipment.

    You make this look easy running some 8 gauge wire. I'm trying to run 2/0 wire, and it's a pain in the butt lol.

    I have 2008 grand cherokee boston audio system with sirius double din. How can I install amp and subwoofer? Do you have any diagram for cables

  • @jasons5842
    @jasons5842 Рік тому +1

    You should have mentioned to always run the remote wire on the opposite side of the power wire to avoid noise or is that not done anymore.

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  Рік тому

      It’s always a good practice, but it’s also old school. Modern electronics filter out noises. As long as your ground is good free of paint, and have quality rca cables, honestly you can run them all together.

    • @Miserableatbest303
      @Miserableatbest303 10 місяців тому

      I feel like that's not completely true, you can definitely still get interference running the power, remote and RCA's together. It's just always a good idea to run them on the opposite side of the power wire. You never know what your setup has the ability to do, like filter out interference, which I've never actually heard of being a feature of modern subwoofer/amplifier setups. It's better to just be safe than finding out after putting everything back together, that you have to take it all apart again to rewire your setup. It's your life though, do whatever you want.

    My 05 jeep cherokee has the Boston acoustics sound system without steering wheel controls. Do I need a special interface in order for the factory amp to work with a aftermarket radio?
