Love your videos but I would beg to differ on the point about more nature preserves on the north vs southeast suburbs. I think it’s pretty even. Near fish hawk/Riverview/Bloomingdale area there’s lithia springs park, alafia river state park, triple creek preserve, alderman’s ford conservation park, balm boyette nature preserve, and more. And unless you’re in Odessa distance to the major beaches seems pretty even as well when you compare land o lakes/Wesley chapel to the southeast suburbs.

I go to Pass-A-Grille and Clearwater beach several times a month and it has NEVER taken me over 60 minutes. Most of the time it takes 45 min

Boring is good for families. It’s safe and within 45 minutes of the three major cities.

All those areas like riverview, brandon, wesley chapel etc all have nothing to do except eat and shop. So everyone tries to go to the same places every weekend. Downtown St. Pete, Beaches, Boat Ramps etc. Everything remotely fun to do is jam packed all the time.

Don't forget to mention that you need to pay CDD in most communities in Riverview.

Happy to talk to my experience having moved to Riverview from Miami right at the start of the pandemic. In short, it's fine as a remote worker, but not as a father. Nothing interesting to do nearby. There's so much opportunity for fun shit but nothing to do other than preserves! And I'm SO livid we didn't take more time to consider the roooooads! WHY DO ALL THE NEIGHBORHOODS WRAP AND LOOP AROUND AND INTO THEMSELVES?! It makes local traffic so much shittier and it makes emergency services' lives harder!

I'm going to have to get a brand new license to be able to drive in that area cuz of the regular road and then there's a road for the highway in the middle. WT..😮 THIS JUST DON'T EXIST IN Denver.. AND I'M A NATIVE

It was better, before 2020. These roads aren’t “going to get better”. The extreme traffic here is fairly new. It turned into Miami level traffic incredibly fast. I’ve been here since 2001 and it was much better before all of this “growth”. That part of “Tampa” wasn’t desirable since it’s not convenient to anything and it’s got a weird vibe. And as far as coming to the beaches in Pinellas, just stay on your side of town and muddy those waters (metaphorically speaking and literally) Bottom line, don’t move here unless you’re ready to wake tf up for real. A few years back those same houses were under $200,000 and they still couldn’t persuade people to want to live out there. Those parts of “Tampa” are deceptively suburban and ironically ghetto at the same time. One has got to be a psychopath to mass build homes with the cheapest materials and laziest floor plans probably on the backs of illegal immigrants. Architecturally boring and lacking any sustenance, oh and probably on or near a sinkhole. Welcome to Florida, (but not really) 🥵😈☠️🤑
