Not sponsored. I just love my inflatables. This new Air 9 looks awesome for the money. Code KayakDIY gets $700 off for total price of around $1000. That is a steal in my opinion. It is way less than Vibe Uptown which I’m using and love. It is way less money than Bote Aero pedal kayaks too. Don’t care if you buy, but just like to save my viewers money and inform them. I don’t have an Air 9 to test, but I’m confident in the company and have tested enough inflatables to recognize a deal.
It won't come out in time this year. Scheduled delivery for the first batch (full?) is August aka like all IndiGogo Projects there will be a 2-3 months delay, so a good investment for 2025.
Like it! Been looking for something to fit motorcycle. I have a small trailer I tow. We go to beautiful mountain lake areas but never have a way to explore. Great price. Thanks🙏

Hobie did it better
Hobie also costs WAY more. I filmed all of Hobie’s kayaks with them personally. They flew in and paid for my lodging while we filmed. I don’t play favorites though. I think this is an exceptional value compared to Hobie. I trust Lightning Kayaks. I’ve owned several of their products. I also like the owner of Lightning Kayaks, Stuart, because he is selfless and gives back a lot. I also trust Robert Field and know that if he is putting his name behind it then the kayak must perform well for the money.

Why do you say that? The company is awesome. I know the owner and so he gave my viewers a good deal. I knew the plan for this kayak before they built it. They are based out of Minnesota.

Clearly you aren’t their customer or target market. Pedal kayaks are expensive. Many can’t transport, carry, or store large traditional pedal kayaks.. My most used kayaks over the past year have been my inflatables. I can travel with them easier. Hell I fought a shark for 2hrs on one few weeks ago. Never had one pop. Durability on them is impressive.
