My kids are now 10 and 7, life still a mess but now they learning how to fill their own cups. I HEAR YOU!! And I wish we could display this video a TimeSquare - I had bring this issue over and over again to my ex husband and it seems like it’s just brushed off.

You are so honest and what you’re feeling is so relatable!! My kids are 6 and 7 now but it really doesn’t feel like that long ago that I was EXACTLY where you are. I was saved by a couple of mom friends in similar situations so we could have play dates regularly but my husband was not present and not helpful during those early years and all the child rearing was on me. He was a good provider so I just appreciated that I had the time with my kids. It was still super freaking hard though!! I’m really just now finding myself again now that both my kids are in full time school. I really hope and pray for you to find a pockets of time for yourself. Your kids are still do little so it’s hard but maybe trade babysitting services with a friend like once a month or more. Best of luck to you!!

I totally get this. I’m a sahm of 4 with also 0 help. Plus my husband is military so he is often gone and with 4 kids no one wants to be your friend. I sometimes get complete breakdowns when I’m trying to cook and the toddlers are hanging on my leg, when I vacuum and all the kids are screaming at the same time. And the guilt to ask for time because we don’t bring in physical money, it’s a real thing. And so many men and women laugh with us because they all think we’re leeches and we watch Netflix and go to the spa all day. In our society there is too much pressure on putting value on everything (including humans) in monetary terms so sahm have “no value” and it’s so humiliating. That’s why I usually stay by myself and don’t go anywhere.

I can't imagine how elevated these feelings would be if I was with them at home 24/7. You're doing amazing. I wish I was local to help you out gf, even just for the company in the chaos of the kids. New mom here. I 100% feel deep down that raising babies is and never was meant to be a one-woman job.
Facts!!! Back in the day there was a village raising babies… we don’t have that same mentality anymore unfortunately. Hang in there & congratulations ♥️🙏🏼
