Interesting! I've never paid too much attention to the lore. Is it correct to assume the Bosmer furnishings in-game that appear to be made of wood are instead made of stone/bone? I've actually tweaked this room design since the video to replace some of the wooden pieces with 'Bosmer' pieces - but they still look like they could be made of wood. The chair is also the 'Branch of Falinesti' which comes from Greenshade, so I'm guessing that piece is lore-friendly since it sounds like it's a piece of living, shaped wood.
@@Kalam0n Hey, thought I might be able to help a bit. It's true that Bosmer do not cut wood, and will be severly punished if they chose to do so (even if it's for something good). Some furnishings such as 'Branch of Falinesti' is created naturally without involving woodcutting. Lore wise, the living wood is A-OK, but things such as the Solitude counter is not hehehe
@@aldo6108 Thank you! I actually updated the design based on the feedback for this video: ua-cam.com/video/r2nWfcnH5u4/v-deo.html. Hopefully it's lore-friendly now! That being said, I suppose a Bosmer who's joined the Dark Brotherhood and worked their way up their ranks, running around Tamriel murdering countless people with the Blade of Woe might not be too concerned about punishments for cutting wood? Better safe than sorry though!
I know i comment on your videos like every other day.. im obsessed with housing and RP in the game lol (and you give a lot of inspiration!) May i bug you once more for the outfit you used for your bosmer? She looks bad ass 😅
This is a very old fit! That's Moongrave Fane Chest, Gloves, Belt & Boots. Domihaus Shoulder and the Dwarven Remnant Bow. I'm honestly not sure about the leggings, maybe Topal Corsair?
Good question, Mara's Kiss can only be claimed for free by an AD character. I'm not sure I knew that when I made this video but you should be able to make a 'throwaway' character, claim it for free, and then delete the character while keeping the room unlocked.
The Blue Starbloom and Coda flowers are sold by the Luxury merchant in Coldharbour, but only available one week out of the year. You can find them on guild merchants though as people will stock up and resell them. The vines are available from the furnishing vendor in Northern Elsweyr, so they're at least cheap and easy to acquire.
I'm not familiar with high thame, is that another name for high elves or is it something in the lore? I'm still kinda new to the Elder Scrolls lore, I never really played the single player games.

It's actually a great job on this really awkward room. Great ideas. The only problem is bosmer don't use wood.
