First introduced in 2008 - the i10 city car has been a huge hit for Korean firm Hyundai. To build on that success, the new model offers fresh engines, including an ultra-efficient 1.0-litre petrol, as well as a more powerful version of the 1.25-litre engine from the previous model. The looks have been changed too, with the hexagonal grille from the Hyundai ix35 SUV at the front and tweaked lights at the rear.

I’ve been driving a 2011 i10 since I passed my test 6 years ago, and I’d recommend one to any new driver
How much miles you got?
How are motorways on it ?
I’ve been driving a 2010 model with over 80k miles for a year and it hasn’t let me down
@@sinthur5435 don't man. Trust me. Just save up a bit more and get a better car.. or just get an older 2009 hyundai i30. Much better and can actually handle the motorways for around the same price

Just got a quote for a new abs pump module £2500+fitting had to ask if he was quoting for a Aston Martin.

i love hyundais, so don't take this wrong, but did they run out of wheels at the factory and have to use lawn mower wheels as a replacement? those are ridicoulasly small

you know why this guy is so good ? becuase he talks about cars we could actually afford or fill buy in the future :] i love his reviews :] not unlike top gear tottal crap in a way that they dont give a damn about simple normal cars, i mean who gives a fuck about cars you will never have like ferrari or konigsegggggggggg ... top gear is a good show to laugh, but nothing more, this guy is great for reviewing cars we will buy one day :]

@@seezy1342 yeah it's a pretty good car, I mean it's slow af, and the only 2 problems I had with it so far were it sometimes doesn't want to go in reverse in one go, just have to release the clutch and try it again, and when it's cold the central lock system with the key doesn't seem to work so you then have to unlock it with the key in the door

How reliable are these? I've found a 1.2L automatic from 2010 with 16,000 miles on it (2,600 km).

How could you compare the 3? It's the exact same car with a different badge. Probably all built in the same factory.
How do you fold the seats flat?
For the front seats you move the lever on the side of the seats backwards and lean back on the seat. To put I forwards pull the lever and don’t lean back.
For back seats, pull lever on the top of the seats and push forward to make more space in the boot.
Is Dangerous ?

we considered one until we were told it was group 9 insurance.we purchased a citigo instead,group 1.I think these carbuyer reviews are pretty naff,headroom,legroom,luggage and water bottles.how about insurance group,actual mpg,reliability issues,performance,cost of replacement parts,i.e. lightbulbs,brakes,clutch.nah,too technical for carbuyer,size of water bottle far more important !!!

Well I can safely say I took no notice of the insurance group and it costs just over a Grand to insure me! So actually get a quote first before thinking about the actual group...

I don’t know how the insurance groups are working now because this is group 9 and cheaper for me to insure than a polo which is group 4
I have this one in india and i live in the hills . lots of curvy and narrow roads and i must say i love it. Well the 1.2 Kappa engine is not the toughest but for what you pay for it is a cute little car. Just as he rightly points out shifting gears is a pleasure in this car you almost get addicted to it :)

yes, agree.......expensive car might impressed others, but for us, who own and drive. A car is has to be fun and comfortable :D
well as a mafia myself, i do find this car very budget friendly. But i still use a bigger ford ranger to dispose 1-3 rival gang dead body. well, its daily mafia stuff if u know what i mean

I’m glad you got in the boot,cos I got a big subwoofer and I wasn’t sure it would fit so was gonna buy the i20 instead but think il go for the i10 after this

@@barbaricviking Hey, no problem. I want to add that if you're looking to buy a car in this price range, you would probably want to check out Honda Jazz and Mitsubishi Colt. Both cars rank higher in terms of reliability. The Hyundai i10 is also quite reliable though.

woohoooo...!! I own an i 10, 2009 Model, i 10 Magna, same colour, but in India, Hyundai calls it Silver White.. Nice car, very fine driving and I love it.. :)))

it's practical, spacey inside, not expensive, not flashy (a bit nerdy) but with loads of personality in it's own way. it's a small, frugal city car with small wheels - this car could be the spiritual successor to the Mini!!!

I bought the i10 over the Picanto because the 1.2 'kappa' unit is a great performer and air con is standard on the classic. If you can look past the so so styling it really is a fun little car to drive.

I have a 2013 i10 classic (85bhp, not a lot in the grand scheme of things but it's a little pocket rocket) very nippy around town. And even on the motorway it's quite easy to edge a bit too far over the speed limit without realizing.

I got a used BMW for 1/5 the price.
Surely the repair costs are pretty high but it still doesn't add up to the 10k+ you pay for this piece of garbage.
It's uncomfortable, it's the slowest fucking thing I've ever driven, the interior is cheap and ugly, you can't drive it on a highway without getting ear pains from the screaming tiny shit engine.

Questions asked eh! My mother's required at 35000 miles front shock absorbers from a main dealer however my one I did have managed 77000 without front shock absorbers being replaced.
Charging out unnecessary parts a main dealer so it seems.

I baught mine Sep 2009, its done 32,000miles and hasn't let me down once. In all that time, I have replaced only--one torsion bar bush for all the mots (11 years running) and that's all its needed.
Need I say more, (it's not for sale).

i watched this video after iv seen C.B. about KIA picanto cuz he said this Hundai is better, but honestly after seeing this car i think KIA is better in a lot of way, maybe not the price, but prety much everything ellse yes especialy design, better adjustable wheel and interior.

I have older Atos (model year 2000) on whitch it is based . Underneath ther are almost the same , but i10 is bit better in every way . But everyone who drove my Atos was fascinated how much good gearbox is . I wish all cars have gearboxes whitch is so good . In city is scilent , at 80km/h is anoying and at 160 is so loud that you barely can hear anyone in car . But it is very durable , what not come off would never , driving on roads that are not more but sea of potholes .
