nice build . In LOD i ready that - enemy resist does not apply for traps . Most likely its similar for PD2 .Hence why the amulet does not help . Nice content!
In season 2 - enemy res is fixed, thus meaning the amulet is useful and also facets work :)
Currently doing this on NM now. Will hell clear like NM or is it kinda worthless? Been watching another vid of a dude doing the mind blast assassin.... you think ones better for end game over the other or what are your thoughts?
Actually Death Sentry is pretty good.
Edit: for leveling - max Wake of Fire then max Fire Blast. Third skill to max is Charged Bolt Sentry. With it you can finish game solo. 4th skill to max is Death Sentry and remaining points in Wake of Inferno.
It’s weird how it works, i tried it in cows early on in the ladder and it was absolute trash. But it seems to do good in maps, this video was made before i started running maps.

Even if that were possible to shop, it would be basically impossible. It takes bots 700+ hours just to shop for a +3/3 claw from anya. The odds for this claw you want would be astronomical
How about 3x Ptopazed Natalya arm?
Out of testing all builds for mapping, cows etc the fastest ones are:
Nr 1: Trang/Infinity CE Necro
Nr 2: Poison Necro / Combustion Sorc+Hydra
Nr 3: Trap/Mind Blast Sin, Nova ES Sorc
Nr 4: Bone Necro/ Java/ Bowa/ Holy Bolt
Nr 5: Everything else

I made the mistake of switching from chain lightning trap/ death trap to fire trapper. The only clearspeed it improved for me was cows and stony tombs.
I'll be changing back the second I find a cheap token
at this point how much time did it take you to get all those rune and stuff? farming 2-3 hours a day for several weeks?
how is the cow run without the infinity merc?
Its not bad at all when you get 30+ level wake of fire, i ran cows till i could make an infinity
What do you do if you have no friends? Can you run death sentry for fire immunes?
Yeah you could, death sentry is nice in maps, I just let my merc kill the fire immunes
I'd recommend going shock web maxed for ur fire immunes it gets so many synergies from fire traps and then start adding points into death sentry once its maxed for synergy for web and inferno.

Not much. Now if you have a magical claw with 3 trap and 3 wof then that is godly.
The reason you aren't noticing a difference in enemy fire resistance is because traps count as minions and are therefore not affected by -% fire resistance from gear
just wanted to chime in 3month later for anybody reading it. this is false in PD2. -% does affect traps and is one of the best stat to have on your gear.
@@geezylacroix8183 Gonna have to correct you there. My statement was correct as of "PD2 season 1" when the comment was made, however this was later changed in season 2, which can be seen in the patch notes where they state "Traps now gain +% and -% elemental bonuses this includes facets", so it was never false just from another season.
@@blademaster3002 you are right, this wasn't meant to be a shot at you but more for the people watching the video now. if you look for pd2 trapsin, this is the first video so new players might get the wrong idea and i wanted to correct it
Gonna have to correct you both there. I am a barb player and therefore am automatic badass and everything I say is true at all times. Sorry if any of u are barbs, I've just had my share of arrogant yet deeply insecure barbs to deal with lately...can only take so much ego after awhile

It’s actually just filtergale with the runes and charms spaced for a bigger box to click.

Is lightning sentry nerfed in this mod?
I dont think its nerfed i think death sentry got nerfed though, they just buffed fire traps and i like the way they play over lite traps.
confirmed known bug that fire pierce on gear is not being applied to the traps so firelizard claw is not that good considering the stat requirement. Your best bet also is to farm claws in nightmare rather than hell to get +3 claws.
I think it's not a bug but rather intended behavior

With this skills allocation you can't deal.
My fire trapper is 20 Fire Blast, 20 Wake of Fire, 20 Death Sentry, 20 Charged Bolt Sentry, remaining points into the Wake of Inferno.
You kill fire immune with Charged Bolt Sentry.

I thought about it as well but i dunno how well that would work the -enemy res dont work for traps, i just let my merc kill what i cant.

With your -30 weapon you only need 42 IAS(without Burst of speed) to reach the highest IAS breakpoint for traps. So when you use Burst of Speed, all your SHAEL runes are just wasted.
I just put them in there to have something while i traded for ist’s which i put in it.
-x% enemy fire resistance doesn't work since vanilla.
Yes, this is a known issue, nor does +x% fire damage, it shows up on the tool tip but the tool tip is bugged.
Can someone tell me how I can get +3 trap claws. Im shopping in Hell at Anya and I am lvl 76. Is that not the right place? Am I not high enough lvl? Someone plz help me. Ok, someone from discord said lvl 78 is the lowest level with the highest chance of getting the claws so I will start there

You can start to shop at char lvl 65, either Nightmare or Hell Anya.

Ias increases speed if traps. Fcr increases how fast you place the traps. ****That’s why fant aura souls destroy people because they shoot lightnings really fast not giving you as much time to get out of the way.
Actually it is the IAS that affects how fast you place the traps.
How much do fire lizards sell for?
You can find them pretty cheap, a +3 magic trap claw is just as good though
how many mf is ok for trapsin ?
Id say anywhere from 50-300 is fine, i started out low, and worked my way up upgrading, with my endgame gear i was around 200-250mf

If you skill fire trapper properly (Death Sentry) it is one of the better season starter chars, also good for solo-self-found.
My starter-pack gear (after I finished game solo) was Hexfire sword, Splendor shield, Treachery armor, Magefist gloves, +3 traps circlet, +3 traps amulet.
Trick is to use Fire Blast+Wake of Fire+Death Sentry for fast clearing.
I had strong Charged Bolt Sentry too(Death Sentry synergy) which allowed me to farm Pits once I entered Hell.
