Thanks to you I have discovered gems like Mutilator, The slumber party massacre franchise, Motel Hell, Dont go in the house, and even Sleepaway Camp just to name a few. Thank you Jason🤘
I've got one for you that no one ever seems to mention. It's called Body Count (1986). Super cheesy, totally trope-filled, but I loved it. It's pure 80s slasher goodness. It's on Amazon Prime, so if you haven't seen it, definitely give it a go.
Back in the 90's I used to work at a camp with the lead actress from Billy Club here in Wisconsin. I don't think she'll remember me but I recognized her right away.
YES!!!! SOMEONE FINALLY TALEKD ABOUT DARK RIDE!!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITE SLASHERS OF ALL TIME! I literally grew-up watching this, because I’ve had the DVD for forever, once I saw it on Sci-Fi Channel lol.
Love this list brother! I like the fact that it's mostly newer slashers that are criminally underrated! I've seen all of them and agree they just aren't talked about enough
Thank you for this! I would consider myself a pretty big horror fan but haven’t been able to find too many good ones lately besides I see you. Going to watch all of these. Starting with lumberjack man since I’ve been seeing a lot of positive comments about it
Very awesome list you've got there. The only ones I haven't seen are 100 Tears, and, My Super Psycho Sweet 16. I'm going to order them, eventually. Lumberjack Man is a blast. I've probably seen it at least ten times by now. Have you seen the movie Spirit Camp? That is a whodunit slasher comedy about Cheerleaders. It was pretty good, imo. I think it doesn't get enough appreciation. Thank you for another awesome video 😎😎😎😎😎
THANK YOU !!!...nobody ever talks about "Don't go in the house"..I live 40 mins from the actual house that it was filmed in and I go there and watch it every Halloween wked when they show to an audience that comes to watch....its my 2nd all time film..Dawn of the Dead being the 1st.
Great list! The first two my super psycho sweet sixteen movies are great(haven't watched the 3rd one). I've always thought the look of the Lord of the Rink was pretty damn awesome! Love the mask, looks creepy. Especially in part 2👌
Dude as soon as I was done watching this video I watched 100 Tears! OMG WHAT AN AWESOME SLASHER WITH SEVERELY BRUTAL KILLS!! I especially like the ending when the blonde chick unexpectedly gets run over.
i bought Secret Santa off your recommendation awhile back. i enjoyed it! that’s mind boggling that people don’t know about Psycho 2-4. all great films. i saw them in theater.
I LOVE Bloody Bloody Bible Camp! Just discovered that film fairly recently, and I adore it, on top of having a sense of humor, the kills are great in that film! Speaking of films I just discovered recently, just yesterday I watched a shot-on-video slasher film from 1983 called Sledgehammer, and I thought it was pretty damn fun, and I never hear anyone talk about that one. A couple other slasher films I hear basically nobody talk about are the Violent Shit films, which could be argued that they're far more splatter films than they are slasher, but I digress, and Terror at Blood Fart Lake. If you have never seen Terror at Blood Fart Lake just do yourself a favor and watch it! The kills are terrible, and all off-screen... BUT this film is so retardedly hilarious with it's -50 IQ that I can't help but love it; it genuinely has some of the most over-the-top performances I've ever seen in a film, and I swear to god that movie had to have had the production value of a potato. Anyway, I'll definitely be checking out 100 Tears; I'd never heard of that one, but it definitely interests me!
The ones from this list I haven’t seen are Secret Santa, Billie Club, and the mtv trilogy movies. Love that you mentioned Drive Thru! Lots of nostalgia for sure. I remember renting that at Hollywood video multiple times. Hatchet is kinda over looked too and it’s a shame those didn’t go to theaters. The Bible camp movie was hilarious but I had fast forward through the killers monologue scenes because I found him so annoying.
U ought to check out 31 if u haven't ...its so brutally gory!! It has all the qualities a slasher movie needs. The opening scene is scary as hell. Just want to make note that a lot of people hate on this movie...but I don't I think it's excellent!👍
Excellent list gotta say I agree with them all. Thought I would throw in Gutterballs. A super extreme slasher but still one of my lesser known ones. I saw both Secret Santa's and your friends is a lot better.
Hmm spooky. Last night I watched an episode from masters of horror on tubi that I immediately thought you would appreciate and would also fit into lesser lesser known slasher territory. The episode directed by Don Coscarellli and also has Ethan Embry who I believe I remember you mentioning that you know. Devil's Candy is my favorite movie so I'm always looking out for stuff he's done. The episode was great I thought. Gory with a huge killer and a twist ending. Embry plays a great bad guy super solid range as an actor.
Mmm, I think the tone of Don't go in the house is why people don't talk about it that much, that fucker is dark. The acting is kinda weird in it too, its like everyone is so innocent in it, which adds to the creepiness. I wouldnt exactly call it a slasher either, its more serious than what people usually think of as slashers, like Prom Night, or Halloween which, as dark as it is, is pretty light next to something like Don't go in the house, in my view. Its more of a serial killer movie, I think.
Sinister Cinema Reviews I couldn’t take Gutterballs, and I can take A LOT. Beyond the acting and dialogue being annoying, there’s a looooong rape scene that is beyond cruel and gratuitous. I’m a female, so maybe the sensitivity factor is jacked way up, but it’s one of the very rare films I actually turned off like 20 minutes in. It was like a comedic version of the infamous rape scene in Irreversible. Scarred for life from that one.
I saw 1 of it’s premiere at Shock Stock ‘16 with the director and actors. It was one of my most anticipated films to watch that weekend, as the concept itself sounded fun.
You talk about after dark these 8 films to die for sets they released became a treat i bought for myself for years like mulberry street which was fun to watch a rip off film of quarentine and that was a rip off of rec 😂😂 but nightmare man, dread, the final they definatly arent all amazing but yet I loved each one of them. Can't believe you've sen 100 tears literally no I know has ever seen that movie.
That other secret santa movie is ok. The problem i had with it was one of the characters is a collosal bitch and her death isnt satisfying. I accidently saw it instead of the one you included in your list.

Sinister Cinema Reviews I feel better knowing that.

Drive thru was a fun one, I kinda liked the backstory behind the clown.

Dude it is the best! I want to see the house in person! So cool you live near it. Jealous for sure

Bryan Rizzo the Terrifier of it’s day
i bought Secret Santa off your recommendation awhile back. i enjoyed it!
that’s mind boggling that people don’t know about Psycho 2-4. all great films. i saw them in theater.
I also recently watched the Crazies with Timothy Olyphant who we all know as Mickey the killer from Scream 2. Definitely worth it!👍👍👍

Love The Lumberjack Man lol
dont go in the house is super underrated
For me it's Charlie's farm, nooooo one talks about this aussie slasher. It feels like Hatchet for Ausploitation lovers

I went on one date with his cousin (so she said). So that’s as close as I’ve ever been to him
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 have you seen the masters of horror episode with him, Angus scrimm and Coscarellli directing?
I think Fender Bender is a pretty good slasher that goes under the radar.

I actually haven’t. I’ve heard about it like 10000 times though haha. They even made a sequel. I’ll check it out eventually

Can’t get hold of most of these titles over here in the U.K. which sucks
Region free player is the way
