My favorite scene from this has got to be, "how's it hanging, Phil?" Weird, it's not that clever of a line, but Dourif's delivery and Chucky's sneer makes it gold
I love when the cop pulls Kyle over. He asks Chucky what his name is and he just says "Chucky". It's like he doesn't even give a shit anymore and he's tired of the whole charade. I don't know why I find that so funny. Really enjoyed your review as always.
8:00 Holy shit my brother used to do that to me ALL the time when we were kids. For me it was the crevice of the couch + couch cushions. That claustrophobic/can't breathe feeling would fucking terrify me. Death thrashing commenced 😂....I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thoroughly enjoyed Kyle's character in this movie. It seems so glossed over....oh favorite line was when they get pulled over and the cop somewhat interacts with Chuckie by asking his name and Chuckie doesn't even do the toy voice lol just "Chuckie" in the most hateful and irritated way possible.
'sometimes i doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion' was the first thing out of my mouth when my bf and i were passing the local arena that was hosting a gymnastics and cheerleading event and there were kids dressed like vegas show girls all over where we'd parked and when i said that in her voice several mothers gave me the dirtiest look as i wasnt quiet and my bf started singing Duran Duran 'Notorious' from the Sparkle Motion routine.
Let’s see...if I foster the kid from Cujo, I am probably going to sweep the house for Saint Bernard images. If I foster Reagan post exorcism, I am going to make sure I don’t have a Ouija board in the house. If I foster Tommy Jarvis, I am probably going to store my goalie uniform at the rink. So WHY would these people not get rid of any Good Guy dolls???? Ugh.
god damn I love this movie, love 1 to Bride, after that they go down - good review - and you were speaking of Kyle, you'll be surprised at how many decent kids there are in foster care/system, a lot of them are just victims of unfortunate circumstance.
Great review. Your review styles really awesome, it's honest and plays and pokes fun, I laughed multiple times just because of how ridiculous it is, but horror is ridiculous a lot of the time.
This is a good sequel as a whole but suffers from some typical sequel problems.Why dose the company rebuild the whole doll because its a sequel lol why do we have to watch new characters go through the same is Chucky alive cause its a sequel.With all the said its well acted the doll effects are great an Chucky has great 1 liners the kid is good an the supporting characters are fine.The climax in the toy factory is the best of the series I love the first this one I think is good
Yo, was Andy officially implicated in Chucky’s murders from part 1? At the beginning of this one, when the counselor is talking to the foster parents like “He insisted his doll was responsible but he’s fine now, he just wants to move on with his life”….Does that mean Andy was held accountable for murder? If not, who was? This has always confused me 🤔 Great movie overall and I agree with you, this does rival the first one
Hey Jasin, when i watch a movie i find myself analyzing it and it can take me out of the movie, and I'm not even a movie critic. It's kind of a curse. Do you have that same problem? Or do you plan on watching a movie twice, one with your brain turned off and then another viewing to analyze it?

Good fun sequel but not scary. I watched this with my mom and little sister as little kids and we laughed and loved it.
If this was to be the only sequel to Child's Play I would have been fine with that.It compliments the first one so well.

Great sequel. Warehouse scene is brilliant. Chucky gets funnier the nastier he becomes.
