Thank you very much for this video, it was much easier to follow you, than the written instructions! However, you made the installation of the springs look really easy. I think I pulled two or three muscles, have bloody knuckles on my right hand from the tool constantly slipping off, and then I also did what you did, I use the closed end of a wrench and realized that once it's on, I couldn't get the wrench off lol.
Hi did you have any gap when installing the stand between the sran and the brackets in the frame as i seem to have a gap of about 1cm if that majes sense. Thanks
As you can see I did not have anything interfering here. What is on the way on your bike? Do you have another accessory on the way (bottom plate? Etc); can you see something obviously obstructing that stick to pass through?, Does it look different from what you see on my video?
@@thelondonbikerthe black mounting “stick” thing touches the muffler mount, I see it exactly in the video at about 0:45. For me its blocking completely 😑what am I missing 😅?
@@vdmrfdtv1267 assume you may have solved this already, but what I did, was loosen that bolt for the muffler bracket, it's still tight on there, so use the rubber mallet to just tap it back a little bit then I got that pin through the frame, tapped it back and tightened it again
Installing the springs is not the easiest part of the job but I guess both springs are important. You want the stand not to be moving anywhere when you ride
Hi! Thanks for the upload !❤ just installed my centerstand. But one question. On your video 54s seconds in . What kind of bolt did you use on that side of the bike . Salute 🫡
Did not come on my 2024 model higher end as well, I think to keep their msrp price down they have started taking things off in recent years like all vehicle manufacturers have@@robgerety
Cheers pal, found that useful when doing mine. Merci beaucoup!

Thanks for the video. What model year is your T100?
Hey - that’s a T120 2023 Black
2 front brake discs = t 120

…sorry for late reply. Don’t seem to have any significant gap. Did take a few pics today but cannot upload on my answer here 🤔
How did you put it through on 0:45? I can’t figure, trying to install but get the same thing interfering

Do you know if this bike can run on 20% ethanol blended petrol?
Nope - don’t know that one ;-)
Late question, when the bike is on the centre stand, is the rear wheel lifted from the ground for chain maintenance, etc?
Yes, that’s actually the main reason I installed the central stand
@@thelondonbiker brilliant, off I go to Lind Triumph to buy one ASAP.
You're not doing the DGR this year by any chance?
I am actually doing the London DGR ride. Last year, I’ve done it on a Yamaha 125cc so upgrading this year with the T120 ;-)
@@AlexOnABoat If you haven't purchased one yet, I have a secondhand one I'm willing to sell (removed as if fitted sidecar)
Do you really need both springs? The spring pin seems shallow to seat both spring hooks.
Installing the springs is not the easiest part of the job but I guess both springs are important. You want the stand not to be moving anywhere when you ride
I think I noticed it, but I would like to confirm that you can add the center stand without having to permanently remove the side stand?
Yeah - there is no need at all to remove the side stand. Would be very unpractical too ;-)

This was provided with the stand but according to instructions it is an M6 12mm
Thanks. You forgot the bumper so the stand doesn't rattle. On the left side. Very hard to get in the small hole.
Does this affect ground clearance?
No, makes no difference
So a centre stand is an optional extra?
Just another example of triumph taking the piss out of its customers.
The T100 does not come with center stand. But, I understood that T120 does come with center stand. No?
