Honestly fair H.P Lovecraft makes sence also given his large amount of eldrich existential beings I mainly went with Stine because they actually have a Legacy rivalry in the real world (though funnily not between the authors themselvs) and Stine and his books were a big part of my childhood and my main introduction that led to my love for the horror genre so tbf I'm bias lol But good alt and thank for the kind words 👍

I definitely agree that Stine has a much much MUCH bigger and varied amount of monsters at his disposal And with there limitless endurance and Arsenal with stuff such as the reality warping remote Stine-verse likely outclasses a big proportion of Kings-verse though the gods from king like Gan very likely change that dynamic This battle really is as indepth and crazy as they get with the reality shattering and eldrich beings at play Honesty probably Season Finale worthy mu imo
I really love the idea of this matchup. My biggest concern is that it gets a bit stompy once you go further up the food chain. As crazy as some of Stine's creatures can get, none of them hit outversal to my knowledge and King most definitely does. Though I would fucking love to see some of King's stories with a Goosebumps style cover, thinking about it.

Does King have a counter to this? If not, my vote goes to Stine.
In-universe, Stephen King himself is an aspect of Gan, the god that lives in/is the Dark Tower. And since Gan is an entity that both encompasses all of time but is also unaffected by it, odds are removing King's birth year from the clock would either not work, or just be irrelevant as Stephen's connection to Gan would render him acausal.

Well I don’t know much about Randal Flagg. I can help with Pennywise even though he is powerful Pennywise gets he’s powers from fear and most of the monster are just fearless or just to insane to care. Like take slappy for example he is a creature made out of regenerating ink so a simple stab or bite would not kill him and if you know slappy he would laugh at him until he is just a feeble creature and even if you don’t take the movie ink stuff when slappy is broken he’s soul can possessed a body or turn them into a puppet. Finally even if that dose not they can use the say cheese and die camera that once used shows something bad happening to the person or in this case it in the photo something bad happens to them rather just tripping or showing them dead.
