Hi Mahima ...this Madakku reminds Me of an incident which took place during my childhood days. During summer vacation one of aunt, settled in North India after her marriage had come down to kerala. One late night,she wished to have Madakku, also known as Madakkusaan in some areas. So 2 of my uncle's went and knocked at a Tea stall selling Madakkusaan. The guy had shut shop and gone to sleep. When the uncles told him that they want Madakkusaan, the tea stall owner (grumpy for waking him up) shouted, .. ആർക്കാഡോ ഈ രാത്രിക്ക് മടക്കുസാൻ .... And the 2 uncles fled the spot
Hi Mahima just a suggestion it would be great if you could specify weight in grams instead of saying1 cup as 1 cup for some will be 125 gm and for some 150 gm depending how tightly it is filled. Not many Indian flood vloggers do this but most western recipes specify weight rather than volume

That's why I suggested you prepare that, coz you're absolutely perfect in cooking and I trust your recipe. You can ask sosamma ammachi from muvattupuzha how they're preparing it.

Accurate measurement for 1 c flour is 120g. I say in cups as mostly our viewers don’t use weighing scale
