The tour had a very This Old House style to the filming and Curtis’s explanations, which I loved. Cory’s tear down and fix of your part was fascinating, and I really enjoyed listening to your dad’s comments and perspective. Finally, you’ve nailed the new camera on your outro. First, the Area diesel guys are great for letting you/us visit. Second, yes to the follow up video. Third, I do not understand how how you do this for the money, or lack thereof. Every time I watch you teach me something. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Please do keep up with the good work.

This is the perfect video to learn when you're in over your head and to rely on the experts to solve you problem. Think about all the components on any given piece of equipment, and then listen carefully to all of the details the gentleman rebuilding the pump shared with all of us. Just amazing.

I've always thought injection pumps sounded loud, I'd never have imagined they made as much noise as the engine.

The stand makes a lot of noise too, but yes, they are loud!

I was gonna say that pump test sounds like a small diesel itself

Makes me feel a lot better about how loud my injection pump is, if an as new, perfectly specced pump sounds like that on the test bench.

Remember when Mr. Rogers would use picture picture to show us how candy was made, or bottles, or whistles? Mr. Wes just showed us how diesel pumps and turbos are made. Big boy stuff. Thanks Wes!

Thanks for the repair/parts shop tour. What amazes me about the forklift is two things, (1) the fact that neither the engine nor the body nor the lift was covered in old grease as I would have expected those to be and (2) that when you got it running, the engine did not smoke at all, just clear exhaust.
