Having the sany to use is awesome ! Makes for easy loading . I will be looking forward to seeing the pros & cons of your boiler . My stove is in the basement & it can get warm in the house . I used to heat my hot water with it but it would over heat 100 gallons & cause the pressure relief to go off so i have stopped heating my water with it . A good friend had a boiler in his garage & after many years he went back to a woodstove in his house . i think mainly due to not having to go outside to load it in the cold & less wood consumption . He had unlimited slab wood from their mill that he mainly burned .
So with this boiler I should at the least get 12 hoir burn times out of it... if it's gets cold I can really fill it up and get more than that. But twice a day vs getting up every 3 hours to fill up that current furnace I have in the basement was annoying. I'll have a whole series on install, why I chose central boiler and pros and cons coming up soon. It's gonna be a huge learning curve and I'm gonna do my best to document it all and share it!!!
