I rewatched SS last weekend for my 3rd watch. It's funny as all our doors and the fight scenes are epic to me.
But there’s not really a plot though right???? At least from the few episodes I watched.

Get backers, flame of recca, air gear, magi, hitman reborn, zatch bell, law of ueki are all bangers and deserve anime continuations
Ah Get Backers. the anime did not do the manga justice. I wish someone would make it properly. The concept of the Mugen jo was very unique. And i don't want to get started about Ban or Akabane!
Still hating what they did with the Zatch Bell anime finale, but it's a long and old one so no hope of them making it right T-T
If you haven't read the Flame of Recca manga then i recommend it.Caused the anime version changed alot of stuff and the anime ending is not cannon at all.And before i go there is an Ova that cover the real ending of Flame of Recca

Talk about some deep cuts! A litany of anime I've never heard of, and I've been watching for 20 years now. Very well done! Genuinely interested in Moribito, Scissor Seven, and Buso Renkin. Also BIG hype seeing IBO on this! Definitely a slept on anime, and one I feel a lot of non-Gundam fans can appreciate, so long as they are OK with a bittersweet ending.

imo world trigger is one of the most underrated anime. it has some of the best strategies, and its power system feels like a battle royale game. must watch anime
Agree, I was so ever glad we got a second and third season after so many years. Only problem is manga releases are very slow, I think around one tankobon a year, so I don't think we'll see a fourth season in the near future...

World Trigger came out in the era where anime were getting shorter and slow buildup no longer existed. When I started watching it I thought very little of it. However, it surprisingly turned out to be one of those that get slightly better with each episode without stepping backwards, and by the time episode 10, 20, and 30 come around it was pretty great. Definitely a slow-burn anime that grew over time. I feel like most people would have dropped it and never looked back during a normal ep1-6 type of view though.
Oh man, Moribito and Casshern both bring back some memories for me personally tbh

I've watched everything except Scissor Seven and Pluto, and I have not yet finished High Card (just started it again) and Helck.
My own coin to this list is Heroic Age. Arguably one of the greatest anime of all time (it's number 5 in my own list).
It's a masterpiece on every level, with 26 episodes that lead up to one of the greatest endings in anime history (probably second best after Code Geass), at least from the 1400+ titles I've watched so far.

Communication is your best bet here. My friend used to tell me the beginning determines how things run in the future, if you tell her from the get go that you like it you will not try to force her to watch but she still forces you to stop then maybe there's an expiry date on the relationship.
My wife didn't hate anime but didn't care for it, until she watched Demon Slayer and Attack on Titans. And believe me it had a good impact on our relationship
She should not intervene in what you like. My girlfriend hated anime and games as well and let her know that I was not gonna stop watching it or playing for her. She had no other choice but to accept it.
If she says anything negative or gives you a hard time about you watching anime -- she's not the one. Time for her to move out. Don't waste your time. Save your years for someone who honors you

The action in the first season was top tier, as was the animation and story. The sequel was a huge let down unfortunately (not talking about the OVA that was almost after the end of s1).

I watched Arslan, Yona, and Magi all around the same time as well. Definitely a banger anime, kinda in the mood to revisit it. I really enjoy High Card as well. The aesthetic is great, and the first OP is an absolute BANGER. Fight me in the comments if you dare.

Arslan is seriously underrated, I wish we had another season... MSG Iron-blooded Orphans is a MUST watch, just keep the box of tissues close, so damn GOOD.
The moment I saw Buso Renkin all I cud think of was Pa-pi-llon. Boy this list took me down memory lane and introducing Anime to my sons. My introduction to Anime was Mazinger and Gatchaman.

Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans was amazing along with Double O
Agreed. I would even say that Gundam AGE is not as bad as a lot of people say. It took a while to show potential, as the first impressions are nothing spectacular compared to 00 or IBO.
The interesting part of Gundam AGE is that as the show goes on, it progresses through 3 generations, giving you a sense of continuity and depth. The hero of the early years becoming more and more bitter and eventually might even end up a hinderance for future generations, as he become locked in his views and convictions.
Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans is my second fav gundam series, only losing to 00 and wing is my third fav
tsubasa came out when most animes just never finished their series, and tokyo revelations ended on a cliff hanger, too. Would be nice if this one was remade and completed. Really fun series.
Just finished this one and strongly believe it needs a proper adaptation.
I'm proud to say I've watched two-thirds of this list. Pluto, Iron-Blooded Orphans, High Card, Casshern Sins, and Arslan being some of my fav anime.
Pluto was a great anime.
iron blooded orphans shouldn't be underrated. it was a definite Jem and a tear jerker at that

Seriously.... You need to start added "where to watch". A simple Google search doesn't show what service it's on. If you're making the video and making the recommendation. The least you could do is add where to watch it. Especially when you're talking about 20 anime that I definitely want to watch.
Not everyone lives in the same regions with the same apps and services. Plus most people just use streaming sites anyways

I think Log Horizon is underappreciated as well. When it comes to MMORPG anime, I believe it's the best, in my opinion.

A very underrated anime in my opinion is toriko and it also ended when it was supposed to get better. Such a shame! Same thing with d-gray man. Also am i the only one who hates this new "seasons" trend? I want 1 episode a week!
