If you haven't read the Flame of Recca manga then i recommend it.Caused the anime version changed alot of stuff and the anime ending is not cannon at all.And before i go there is an Ova that cover the real ending of Flame of Recca

I've watched everything except Scissor Seven and Pluto, and I have not yet finished High Card (just started it again) and Helck. My own coin to this list is Heroic Age. Arguably one of the greatest anime of all time (it's number 5 in my own list). It's a masterpiece on every level, with 26 episodes that lead up to one of the greatest endings in anime history (probably second best after Code Geass), at least from the 1400+ titles I've watched so far. edit: The people in the comments have some amazing recommendations. Guys, take a look at the rest.
imo world trigger is one of the most underrated anime. it has some of the best strategies, and its power system feels like a battle royale game. must watch anime
Agree, I was so ever glad we got a second and third season after so many years. Only problem is manga releases are very slow, I think around one tankobon a year, so I don't think we'll see a fourth season in the near future...
World Trigger came out in the era where anime were getting shorter and slow buildup no longer existed. When I started watching it I thought very little of it. However, it surprisingly turned out to be one of those that get slightly better with each episode without stepping backwards, and by the time episode 10, 20, and 30 come around it was pretty great. Definitely a slow-burn anime that grew over time. I feel like most people would have dropped it and never looked back during a normal ep1-6 type of view though.

Talk about some deep cuts! A litany of anime I've never heard of, and I've been watching for 20 years now. Very well done! Genuinely interested in Moribito, Scissor Seven, and Buso Renkin. Also BIG hype seeing IBO on this! Definitely a slept on anime, and one I feel a lot of non-Gundam fans can appreciate, so long as they are OK with a bittersweet ending.

The action in the first season was top tier, as was the animation and story. The sequel was a huge let down unfortunately (not talking about the OVA that was almost after the end of s1).

I watched Arslan, Yona, and Magi all around the same time as well. Definitely a banger anime, kinda in the mood to revisit it. I really enjoy High Card as well. The aesthetic is great, and the first OP is an absolute BANGER. Fight me in the comments if you dare.
Arslan Senki was so good‼️ the world-building, the MC, the support characters, and the antagonists - truly an underappreciated gem. Helck is also so awesome. I loved the comedy in the beginning (particularly the little devil in the black robe- that guy was hilarious), but I also enjoyed the seamless transition it had into a more serious and dark world. High card is pretty good so far too, still on season 1. Going to be checking out some others on this list soon. Thanks, Vini❤
Communication is your best bet here. My friend used to tell me the beginning determines how things run in the future, if you tell her from the get go that you like it you will not try to force her to watch but she still forces you to stop then maybe there's an expiry date on the relationship. My wife didn't hate anime but didn't care for it, until she watched Demon Slayer and Attack on Titans. And believe me it had a good impact on our relationship
She should not intervene in what you like. My girlfriend hated anime and games as well and let her know that I was not gonna stop watching it or playing for her. She had no other choice but to accept it.
If she says anything negative or gives you a hard time about you watching anime -- she's not the one. Time for her to move out. Don't waste your time. Save your years for someone who honors you
tsubasa came out when most animes just never finished their series, and tokyo revelations ended on a cliff hanger, too. Would be nice if this one was remade and completed. Really fun series.
Agreed. I would even say that Gundam AGE is not as bad as a lot of people say. It took a while to show potential, as the first impressions are nothing spectacular compared to 00 or IBO. The interesting part of Gundam AGE is that as the show goes on, it progresses through 3 generations, giving you a sense of continuity and depth. The hero of the early years becoming more and more bitter and eventually might even end up a hinderance for future generations, as he become locked in his views and convictions.
Arslan is seriously underrated, I wish we had another season... MSG Iron-blooded Orphans is a MUST watch, just keep the box of tissues close, so damn GOOD.

Never though I'd find Buso Renkin and Beelzebub on a recommendation list! I've watched both of them and truly both of them are good anime. Beelzebub is really one of my top funny animes. Please give it a go, it's comedic action.

Heroic legend of arslan is awesome only two seasons, and unfortunately they gave up on the story. The second season seemed a little rushed, but a phenomenal show that had so much potential.
