Don't you love it when someone squats in front of your nicely composed shot and stands up half way thru the taping.........8^(
Wow! And it only took 7 years for Amtrak to reach the Miami Airport station.
Nice Shots
Excellent videos! Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome glad you liked it
Awesome video. :)
That’s a ultra rare chance Amtrak will come to Miami airport station
Tolga right there in the shot lol nice catch
I wish I knew about this test train. I would like to have been there to see it take place.
So whats the timetable of having Miami central station 🚉 as an official station for the Amtrak?
When will amtrak start running trains from Miami international Airport?
Do you know what 812 is on?
How did they flip the train to be facing northbound if the engine came in facing southbound?
They reversed the train 4 miles to the ballon track then ballon the track to reverse the train so the train can be facing NB
@@lazarolopez8710 hope they’ll start attaching one loco on each end just like Brightline does it so they don’t have to play that game.
Well that was a twelve car train. Do they add additional cars?
It was 10 cars and yes they deadhead cars sometimes
Will they continue to do this? And how did they turn it around?
This is one of the test runs and they used the ballon track to turn around
@@lazarolopez8710 So I guess that means when they run into Miami in the future, they'll be going backwards a long way. But, they could also use the triangle on the Homestead sub too
They go backwards about 2 mile into Tampa Union Station
@@HueyRailfanning they will reverse both ways
@@lazarolopez8710 oh ok
Sorry but I am totally confused here. You show the train moving southbound over the green bridge towards the Miami Airport Station and then you show the train completely turned around in the station heading out northbound. That is impossible.
What happened was in both moves is that they reversed in both directions and they use the ballon track at the Miami station in Hialeah to turn the train around
@@lazarolopez8710 Please forgive my confusion but I see on the satellite view the remains of a wye just north of the airport station. Did they rebuild it? Excellent video, BTW.
