Tanner, I just finished watching all 4 of your coming out videos in sequence, and want to congratulate you on the thoughtfulness and sincerity that went into them. I find your concept of "not straight" to be very appropriate, especially in light of today's recognition of the great diversity among us. I grew up in the 1950's when the term "queer" conveyed to me a judgement just short of "murderer". But now I've grown to embrace it as the umbrella term to include all of us no matter how different, odd, or unusual we are as individuals. Please keep communicating to us of all ages your story as it evolves in this rapidly changing world.

Thank you for those kind words! That is so sad that deviance from heterosexuality was almost synonymous with being a murderer during that time period. Indeed, the world is rapidly changing! I remember Judge Judy saying that the world is changing and we must change along with it-could not agree more!

Tanner, you are an amazing young man. You have courage, sincerity, compassion, and a caring personality. I believe you will have a wonderful life and hope you find a mate to love you forever. You deserve it. You are an inspiration to other LGBTQ+ people. I only wish I were your age again and had that thought process. Good luck my friend.

Awesome video again...and I think you're correct: facing and overcoming adversity is necessary for developing resilience. And sometimes it creates the capacity for empathy. I also agree with you on the awesomeness of RBG! (and the HRC)
