I was listening to what you said about Formatting and the SD card for expansion. I am interested in knowing about the SD card that has items currently on it and, I am taking it out of one phone and placing in the SD expansion slot for the new phone. Will I lose the data on the SD card when I put it in the new phone? I would not want to format it, right? As this would remove the data? Also, if I click on using it as Portable Storage, will that remove the data already on the SD card as well? I would seriously appreciate your fast response to this question as I just received the new phone. New subscriber here. ~Beth in FL🌴
Hey! Formatting removes content on drive. Do this, copy all data from SD card onto your computer so you have backed it up, then insert it in phone and select portable storage. That should work and make files accessible to the phone. If it still requires you to format it, the SD card might need to be reforamtted into a format that works for your phone, you can do that form the computer and later move backupped files too it, I think I got some tutorials on formatting USB and SD cards, if not tell me :)
Turn the phone on? Turn the phone off? All I got out of this was to put the sim card in, you put the sim card in. Didn't show how other than a paperclip.
Thank you for the great information 🎉😊
You are so welcome!

I have never understood those tools for removing SIMs, always had Xperia phones and they have always been tool free for the SIM/SD card.
Well they at least don't accidentally fall out with this, because I remember the SIM went flying 10 years ago when I dropped my phones...
My one dual sim in one of the holes is closed but the other 2 is open how can i open the closed one
My honor x8 doesn't allow me to use Sim two I only use Sim 1
Where does the memory card go
Sometimes in one of the sim slots, sometimes another tray, sometimes beside the sims
Thanks too good information Karachi Pakistan
