I hate it lol. Hard to contend her neutral, parry blows up your pressure, no reversal so she doesn't have to worry about you contending her mixups. Also feels like Baiken dominates the air to air which is nuts because J.H on May is so good. I think the only good thing with May in this matchup is if you somehow get your turn going you only need two good hits to win the round. Also waiting outside of kabari and whiff punishing it with full charged H dolphin is actually pretty good.
with Ino at the round start, I normally jump back, if they do dolphin, you can safely drop down with JK and counter hit them before 5S comes out leading to 2k 2d for the knockdown, if they do any other button depending on it, I can dive to punish.
So fS is definitely ridiculous but her forcing 2H >H Kabari RPS or IAD jS if I'm jumping the 2H in neutral gives me actual fits. I don't have a great answer outside of just stay tf out of 2H range which giving up the screen space feels real bad
@@YomiFGC any recent Giovanna matches would be cool. Despite labbing and training to react to some of Gio's moves she's consistently one of the matchups where I lose to the most rn. Most likely because I'm incompetent with the footsies game with her and can't seem to deal with her biggest advantages over me 😭
Any tips for Baiken player in this matchup? Yeah, I know its in Baiken's favor, but it's pretty hard to learn this matchup because every mistake takes 60% of my health bar and because I'm scared of it I'm doing stupid things vs May.
